I always found the Gabor sisters voices so entrancing. Like I loved listening to Eva in The Aristocats as a child. Their voices and speech patterns were just fascinating
Just realised I’m a year older than this wig and she’s holding up better than I am! Beautiful as always Jaymes! My mom was a Gabor wig fiend so this was nice to see! Memories..
I would just like to take a moment of appreciation for the fact that eva gabor thought feathers didn't come from birds, they came from "Pillows, darling, pillows!" because it's one of my favorite things. 😂
You look absolutely gorgeous in that brunette wig. Have a very merry Christmas sweetie to you and your boyfriend and thank you so much for all the amazing and fun videos you put out for us this year. You really are an absolute Joy. Big hugs
Yesss love the Gabors! Eva’s voice is so iconic as Duchess in The Aristocats and Miss Bianca in The Rescuers. Their mother was quite the socialite too and owned a successful costume jewellery business. Would love to see you do more vintage wigs :)
I find one of your greatest gifts is when you tell us stories of the past. You are very good at history lessons and would enjoy you doing it more often.
Omg bayyyyy-beee! I'm trying to focus on the tutorial but you in that 1B hair has SNATCHED MY EDGES CLEAN! It really enhanced your beauty and features and you look AMAZING!
I could listen to you all day! How does such a young thing like you know so much about old Hollywood??? And you mentioned Arlene Dahl too! You are just too fabulous! Love you!!! ❤❤❤
Eva Gabor had retail outlets for her wigs in most malls during the 1970's also as well as her name was slapped on a health club/spa gym business also. Green Acres still holds up today as a really funny show.
Love the vintage wig vids 👍👍. You crack me up . That Paul Stanley wig was my first wig to ever wear at 7yrs old. I wanted to go as Sandy from Grease but was made to go as Paul Stanley from Kiss. Which was ironic because he was in drag. Heller. 😂
My mom had several of the Eva Gabor wigs. I remember she and my godmother went to meet and greet at the mall to see Eva and she signed the boxes of all wigs they bought. PS. You look fabulous!!!!! Really enjoy your channel, thank you.
With it being a 70s wig I just kept thinking of Phyllis Diller when it was all teased out. James may mention that later in the vid, but I wanted to say it anyway. Lol. Also, for a 43 year old wig it looks good and is So full of hair! I'm excited to see the end result. 😁❤️😁
Honestly, this is the best you have ever looked in my opinion. Simply gorgeous!! Don't know if it is the hair or if you did you make up different but you look sooo good!!
I loved what you did. I also have to give you a huge compliment from your departure from blond to black. OMG, you look gorgeous in dark hair. You look gorgeous anyways but that was a stunning look on you! XOXO
Halloween of '77, Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio: the Gay Student Union had an Anita Bryant Look Alike contest. My Mom busted out the wig she used to wear for an office job, got dressed up, entered, and WON! She came giggling home at like 3AM swigging from the bottle of champagne she won, along with a tiara and sash. I was like "but I thought it was a drag contest, you know, for guys...?" And she cackled "Yeah, but honey, THE BOYS LOVED ME!" and passed out.
Thanks Jaymes for this. I clicked so fast when I saw who's wig you're doing. I'm sure you'll get this but every time I boil water I'll say in my best Eva Gabor impression "Oliver, I made you some Hot Water Soup."
What I LOVE about you is not only do you do the hair, you have this crazy encyclopedic knowledge of history and trivia. It inspires me to make Paypalimony payments, you cunning Beer-City Vixen!
Jaymes, I just found your videos a few days ago. You are so fabulous! Keep it up, Girl! Your knowledge of the Gabor sisters is pretty right on. Thanks.
But can we talk about how good you look in black hair ❤️
Freaking exactly!
Right? She looks Italian!!
I was thinking the same thing! Dark hair looks amazing on you
Right??? AMAZING!
I can't believe that wigs made in the 90s and 70s had such little hair loss, and Ru's wigs lost about 10 times the amount of hair these wigs did!
Ru’s wig is a toy ! LOL ! Women wore Gabor wigs every day I wanna see Jaymes do a Raquel Welch wig ! She makes great wigs . ❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️
Leon because it was quality over quantity
“I wanna go to prom but my daddies in a coma” -this wig
I miss that show. Peak 90s.
"So how much hair did I pull out of this one? This Much" *me when brushing my cats*
I actually like when you do vintage stuff
Like the wig I too have sat in a box untouched for many years.
80’s Raquel Welch Wig Line next pls. She was a yoga fitness entrepreneur too.
Great idea! I’ll keep a look out! ❤️
7:10 isolate that, filter it cartoony, put it on a coffee mug with "The Collectors Are Mad". 10/10 product.
I love when she goes on a reference tangent and I'm like, I have no clue who this people are but keep talking sis
I love all these vintage Hollywood mini history lessons, come thru Professor Mansfield!!
I just lose my cool at Jaymes's evil cackle when she does something to piss off the collectors, it's the funniest thing in the world 😂
I always found the Gabor sisters voices so entrancing.
Memories..
Love the dark hair with the deep red dress 😍❤️😊
I love when she cuts the tag
Took long enough!
I would just like to take a moment of appreciation for the fact that eva gabor thought feathers didn't come from birds, they came from "Pillows, darling, pillows!" because it's one of my favorite things. 😂

She never had a wig line out.

"Canasta wigs" - I love it! Great result, you legitimately look like a Gabor sister. 👍🏻
With it being a 70s wig I just kept thinking of Phyllis Diller when it was all teased out. James may mention that later in the vid, but I wanted to say it anyway. Lol. Also, for a 43 year old wig it looks good and is So full of hair! I'm excited to see the end result. 😁❤️😁
