At first I was sad that Jib didn't get to be the aquatic one, since he did so well surviving in the water tests, but y'know what? You're dead right, actually. Over the break, I came up with some titles for them, since, y'know, all the playable scugs have them and I think these little guys have earned 'em. I've been calling Bingus the Prodigy, Fleece the Opportunist, and Onion the Avenger (tbh Fleece is the only one I'm dead set on of those three). Jib, meanwhile, is called the Paragon. So it's only fitting that he would be of the same species as the Saint, another slugcat defined by their altruism, courage and Karma.

@@Psyaeiouunsure, but I’ve noticed that my tundrapup is actually able to throw spears for some reason? She acts like a normal tundrapup other than that, vegetarian, tongue grapple ability, etc. I noticed this happening after I installed Emerald’s tweaks and features mod. I have the brave pups checkbox ticked off, so it may be due to that. I’ll have to do a little more testing with that to confirm though - who knows, maybe we’ll get to see Jib fight as a tundrapup!
I don’t remember the pups being referred to as siblings at the start of this series, but in a strange way it fits, despite the fact that these tests theoretically happen separately with the pups having no memory of previous experiments they’ve still managed to develop a bond and they stick together even though these situations are completely beyond their understanding. I could also just be misunderstanding the whole thing idk
If the pups were planning when hiding in the tubes together, it looks like Fleece and Jib had the job of weakening the inspector in the second round. I really like how the surrogate caught Bingus when they tried to eat the snail and got popped off. The region and testing rooms look phenomenal as well.
Speaking, as I have one I named moss who it's a fifty-fifty. If they will save me or run, but I've watched them still one of the spears out my hand and just go absolutely bizarre on a vulture and like child. You're like a TikTok and you're out here. Trying to kill a literal Titan simmer down
I just wanna say how surprised I was about how Fleece's initial death was, not only had the inspector grabbed the spear Fleece threw at it, but hit them squarely in the head and even though they were already dead at that point, it kept attacking the body and throwing it haphazardly around until it eventually fell off the platform, been awhile since I saw something that brutal. Aside from that, Bingus really went off on the inspector after it killed it's family (after so many episodes it feels like one), even trying to push their dead bodies away from it so it wouldn't harm their already lifeless bodies even more than it already had. Overall amazing episode and loved all the extra stuff you added to it 👍.
Loved every minute of this. Poor Bingus, at least he got the Inspector that killed his siblings in the end. Just like with Iterator Glados I didn’t know I needed slugcat Glados in my life until now but that was a pleasant surprise. And the art! Well done on every part of the video

My headcanons about the pups: All of them are siblings who wandered a little too close to an iterator can, where the iterator inside took them to run experiments. Bingus and Jib are males, while Onion and Fleece and female. Since the iterator is so powerful, they could easily cure Bingus’ Revival Sickness that he attained from the first experiment. As a pack, Bingus and Onion often hunted for the group, while Fleece did jack shit and Jib helped distract and take down the opponent at hand. Despite the fact that they are kept in literal bare ass chambers for months at a time, they grew fond of their iterator “friend” and do their best not to die (they know what happened to Bingus). Jib, in the wild, was very fascinated with spore puffs and i can imagine he gained this knowledge due to the pups formerly residing in Farm Arrays. This is my personal headcanon; it is not real. Do with this information what you will. Bye goobs

I’ve wanted to draw them for a while but have never gotten around to it, but with rainworld art month and my participation it seems like the perfect time to draw these little fellas :D I look forward to the next tests (: If glados iterator exists then does that mean that somewhere there’s a Wheatley iterator? Perhaps Wheatley would be a form of rot, an offshoot living being part of the glados iterator, but through possible tests or whatever managed to gain higher levels of processing allowing it to be closer to iterator than rot. Everything about this video is just so awesome. First of all, that GLaDOS slugcat looks phenomenal. Also, this video reminded me just how much I love how Rain World's works and interacts with each other. As several others have pointed out, the way that the slugpups interact with each other makes it feel like they have a real bond and real motivations. Some of my favorite parts: 0:00: I don't know how long this has been a thing on this channel, but this is the first time that I have seen this Aperture-themed room, and more importantly, the GLaDOS Slugcat, which looks unbelievably cool! It even has an electricity effect! 1:55: Just seeing all of them moving around in that little room next to the surrogate-scug was a joy to watch, especially with Jib just staring at it in fascination or disbelief. 2:56: A funny little encounter between Bingus and the Inspector, neither of them aware of their imminent rivalry. 3:04: I love this interaction between Onion and Bingus. Onion finds sustenance, does some victory hops, and then gets pursued by Bingus. 5:30: GLaDOS having to confiscate the egg-bug corpse from onion while reporting on the current dispute between the pups and the Inspector. 6:00: I don't know why, but I just love seeing the GLaDOS surrogate interact with the pups. This encounter in particular does a good job of showing what type of caretaker GLaDOS is to the pups. (Also, her tone of feels sounded very human). 7:42: Gridlock 8:20: Bingus doing frustration-hops in response to *another* gridlock. 9:05: Fleece getting flung. That Inspector is brutal. 9:50: There are several cool/ dramatic things happening in this scene. Onion getting swiftly dispatched. The 3 red Inspector heads descending with their jaws open on Bingus and the corpse of onion creating an honestly scary scene. The Surrogate some how getting hit by something, only to end up completely unscathed and unfazed thanks to a shield, accompanied by a gong(?)-like sound effect (formidable power move). 10:00: And of course, the best part of the video: Bingus' 1v1 showdown with the Inspector. This part is amazing. The highlights include: 10:00; the start of the fight. Bingus positions themself directly across from the Inspector and begins throwing spear after spear them, pushing back the Inspector and narrowly dodging one of its spears. 10:15; Bingus tries to move their friends' bodies away from the Inspector, despite the Inspector's continuous attempts to drag them back. 10:55; Bingus finally kills the Inspector, causing it to dematerialize, leaving behind Its heads. 11:05: Sick animation. Also, it is super cool to see the Surrogate in finer detail, its design is phenomenal, as is the art and the music. 11:28: Moment of reprieve. "Look at the mess you made... You'll wear the floor down" (Peak GLaDOS dialogue). Also, there is something funny about seeing the Surrogate crawl through the pipes like the rest of the pups. 12:00: "What are holding? Oh". 12:13: Once again, it's a joy to see the Surrogate interacting with the pups for the rest of the video (Also Surrogate flip).
The way the slugpups acted was honestly amazing Bingus avenging his fallen brethren and finally killing the Inspector with pure , unbridled rage was absolute cinema,. Teamwork truly did make the dream work My analysis Fleece- The blue one. A Crazy mf. he’s impulsive , energetic , and violent. he knows you only live once and charges head first straight toward into problems killing them and anything that moves. He acts almost to how a real player would act spamming his weapons in hopes they stop moving. his speed and whits are his greatest strength he seems to be bravest behind Bingus. This buff brought out Fleeces potential Bingus- The black one. a brave slugpup who enjoys the company of others, they only fight when they have to or when there’s a threat thats attacking their brethren. He’s quite docile and curious but a ruthless fighter when vengeful. This buff really helped him out Onion- the fat one. Seems to be more of a pacifist as they have shown no action of fighting , they seem to enjoy running around , playing, eating and doing nothing and only fights when they really need to, a downgrade to their original form, but they tried their best. Jib - The green one. They enjoy the company of their brethren, They are a brave but a hesitant fighter who only gains courage when others are fighting with him , they are more likely to follow the group and seem to take admiration for their brothers fighting and follow their footsteps,
SEALED VESSEL AND BINGUS SWEEP BINGUS SWEEP!! Please give Bingus a vessel mask somehow, they clearly have the soul/shade of the Knight residing within them.
Was feeling a bit down recently due to life's shenanigans, but seeing this made me feel better. I can't wait to see what character development these slugpups will have next!
Another test with gruesome results, though that is all that can be hoped for when dealing with lifeforms of such modest intellect. I can't help but notice that the subject's individual holding chambers have been modified to be more cost effective in terms of space, though I wonder if this may have had an impact on the results? Previous tests showed a better quality of life outside testing chambers to provide a stronger will to live when within them. Overall an excellent test. The aesthetic of your testing chambers has improved, and I look forward to you sharing further results.
The smaller holding chambers were only used in this instance to easily display the differences between the modified test subjects. Their original holding cells still exist.

There seems to be a misconception of Inspectors here, not in the video, but in the comments. Inspectors are completely friendly unless provoked, however, since they use the same relationships as DLLs, the Slugpups were scared of the Inspector and attacked it as soon as they could. Of course, the Inspector retaliated, and regardless of its actions the Pups would continue to attack until it or they died. Pretty fucked up, since the Slugpups are kids and are scared for their life, while the Inspector didn't want to harm them but had to fight back when it was forced to.
You should keep doing this. The moment where bingus fought was good, but i liked more that he moved all of his friends in 1 spot, or im blind i dont know.

If i was a slugpup, i would be the most aggressive, dominant, and energetic slugpup, fearing only things that i feel would be difficult to kill as an adult artificer, and with little sympathy
Noticed a very large uptick in production value, good on you, also, if you end up doing another hungry game, I would find it fitting that you pitted the pups against a scavenger den because of the blood feud that slugcats and scavs have.

I think Fleece tried to get the snail for a second after Bingus proceeded to start eating it. After he was thrown away, he seemed to understand the assignment and went back in the tunnels and watched the snail pop right next to Bingus. Also i think his forced lobotomy in round 1 had permanent effects. Because he was just staring at one of the little things dropped by the inspector and didn't move. The thing wasn't moving, but Fleece proceeded to stare at it and refused to move. Wonder how long it took to get Fleece to stop staring at it. Because it looked like Fleece needed a tap on the head for him to stop looking at it and remember he has other things to do, but I'm just guessing. Also we need more diversity in the new test environments, as it seems like this is taking place inside of some sort of facility, and i would want to see more things like of course, the presence of water, and maybe a few other things. Also i liked the way Slugpup Games 1-3 worked, as the newer ones immediately dump them in with the threat(s) and make it hard for them to do stuff with food or to familiarize themselves with the environment of the test chamber. Also give Jib a genetic modifier that isn't tundra pup.

i tried running an experiment like this at one point. one of the pups took a spear to the head and got back up. i stopped there because i was afraid of what else the pup was capable of.

6:00: I don't know why, but I just love seeing the GLaDOS surrogate interact with the pups. This encounter in particular does a good job of showing what type of caretaker GLaDOS is to the pups. (Also, her tone of feels sounded very human).
7:42: Gridlock
8:20: Bingus doing frustration-hops in response to *another* gridlock.
9:05: Fleece getting flung. That Inspector is brutal.
9:50: There are several cool/ dramatic things happening in this scene. Onion getting swiftly dispatched. The 3 red Inspector heads descending with their jaws open on Bingus and the corpse of onion creating an honestly scary scene. The Surrogate some how getting hit by something, only to end up completely unscathed and unfazed thanks to a shield, accompanied by a gong(?)-like sound effect (formidable power move).
10:00: And of course, the best part of the video: Bingus' 1v1 showdown with the Inspector. This part is amazing. The highlights include:
10:00; the start of the fight. Bingus positions themself directly across from the Inspector and begins throwing spear after spear them, pushing back the Inspector and narrowly dodging one of its spears.
10:15; Bingus tries to move their friends' bodies away from the Inspector, despite the Inspector's continuous attempts to drag them back.
10:55; Bingus finally kills the Inspector, causing it to dematerialize, leaving behind Its heads.
11:05: Sick animation. Also, it is super cool to see the Surrogate in finer detail, its design is phenomenal, as is the art and the music.
11:28: Moment of reprieve. "Look at the mess you made... You'll wear the floor down" (Peak GLaDOS dialogue). Also, there is something funny about seeing the Surrogate crawl through the pipes like the rest of the pups.
12:00: "What are holding? Oh".
12:13: Once again, it's a joy to see the Surrogate interacting with the pups for the rest of the video (Also Surrogate flip).

The way the slugpups acted was honestly amazing Bingus avenging his fallen brethren and finally killing the Inspector with pure , unbridled rage was absolute cinema,. Teamwork truly did make the dream work
My analysis
Fleece- The blue one. A Crazy mf. he’s impulsive , energetic , and violent. he knows you only live once and charges head first straight toward into problems killing them and anything that moves. He acts almost to how a real player would act spamming his weapons in hopes they stop moving. his speed and whits are his greatest strength he seems to be bravest behind Bingus. This buff brought out Fleeces potential
Bingus- The black one. a brave slugpup who enjoys the company of others, they only fight when they have to or when there’s a threat thats attacking their brethren. He’s quite docile and curious but a ruthless fighter when vengeful. This buff really helped him out
Onion- the fat one. Seems to be more of a pacifist as they have shown no action of fighting , they seem to enjoy running around , playing, eating and doing nothing and only fights when they really need to, a downgrade to their original form, but they tried their best.
Jib - The green one. They enjoy the company of their brethren, They are a brave but a hesitant fighter who only gains courage when others are fighting with him , they are more likely to follow the group and seem to take admiration for their brothers fighting and follow their footsteps,

Was feeling a bit down recently due to life's shenanigans, but seeing this made me feel better.
I can't wait to see what character development these slugpups will have next!
Another test with gruesome results, though that is all that can be hoped for when dealing with lifeforms of such modest intellect. I can't help but notice that the subject's individual holding chambers have been modified to be more cost effective in terms of space, though I wonder if this may have had an impact on the results? Previous tests showed a better quality of life outside testing chambers to provide a stronger will to live when within them.
Overall an excellent test. The aesthetic of your testing chambers has improved, and I look forward to you sharing further results.
The smaller holding chambers were only used in this instance to easily display the differences between the modified test subjects. Their original holding cells still exist.

There seems to be a misconception of Inspectors here, not in the video, but in the comments.
Inspectors are completely friendly unless provoked, however, since they use the same relationships as DLLs, the Slugpups were scared of the Inspector and attacked it as soon as they could. Of course, the Inspector retaliated, and regardless of its actions the Pups would continue to attack until it or they died.
Pretty fucked up, since the Slugpups are kids and are scared for their life, while the Inspector didn't want to harm them but had to fight back when it was forced to.

Jeez, the inspectors are brutal in close quarters. Ive been lucky enough to only accidentally anger one without too much debris for it to work with.
I think Fleece tried to get the snail for a second after Bingus proceeded to start eating it. After he was thrown away, he seemed to understand the assignment and went back in the tunnels and watched the snail pop right next to Bingus. Also i think his forced lobotomy in round 1 had permanent effects. Because he was just staring at one of the little things dropped by the inspector and didn't move. The thing wasn't moving, but Fleece proceeded to stare at it and refused to move. Wonder how long it took to get Fleece to stop staring at it. Because it looked like Fleece needed a tap on the head for him to stop looking at it and remember he has other things to do, but I'm just guessing. Also we need more diversity in the new test environments, as it seems like this is taking place inside of some sort of facility, and i would want to see more things like of course, the presence of water, and maybe a few other things. Also i liked the way Slugpup Games 1-3 worked, as the newer ones immediately dump them in with the threat(s) and make it hard for them to do stuff with food or to familiarize themselves with the environment of the test chamber. Also give Jib a genetic modifier that isn't tundra pup.

i tried running an experiment like this at one point. one of the pups took a spear to the head and got back up. i stopped there because i was afraid of what else the pup was capable of.
