The gui is the best part of Manjaro. It’s made it so easy to learn the command line, while still being able to do things without it. It all just works so beautifully, right out of the box.
Wow. Thanks so much David. I am really gaining some sound knowledge with these podcasts. Its been a real help. I have been using Kali since Episode 1 and its been a great learning experience.Thanks. Hope to get Episode 5💪
I have been watching your videos for a couple years now and I always learn something from them because of the way you explain what’s happening, relating it to situations and scenarios that make it click. A-HA! I would love to have a 1-on-1 conversation with you if you have time. I have some things I want to share with you about my situation and would love to hear your thoughts, suggestions and advice. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
Another excellent video, I have the book but i find learning by doing so much more intuitive, the book becoming a reference stuffed with paper notes on how i did things on my systems 😂 thanks so much for the valuable information presented in a straightforward way. 👍👍
What an great content! This series is extremely informative and well explained. I started learning and using Linux as my everyday machine because of both your and OTW. Not to mentioned, I asked my friends to buy me the otw books series for my birthday next month so that I can enhance my skills. Mr. David, is there a part5 for this series? Thank you for providing these great contents for free.
You've sort of talked about this in one of your shorts, but at 25:15, instead of pressing up, going to the start of the line, then inserting sudo, you can simply do “sudo !!” and Linux automatically replaces the “!!” with the last command used
Just wanted to say thankyou to both of you for these great videos. At 47 I'm just starting to dabble with linux and python as a hobby and your channel is both entertaining and informative. 🤜🤛

Anyways lobe the channel n just helping engagement, while maybe mentioning something that might be interesting, or will help someone else who was unaware of all this
Also maybe it'll give some light Ubuntu or lu/xu/any Ubuntu flavor users *WANT* to learn Linux more or practice things covered in your videos without making a whole hearted Kali switch (or USB w persistence) or who just get lost in Kalis User interface, or prefer their current distro setup
I still was getting an error after adding the repository for debian. had to look it up and to sudo apt-get update, then install and it worked for me. love these videos and OTW explanations.
Hi David, great video as usual. Im having problems adding the kali library to my ubuntu system. I added the link as OTW showed on his sources list. However when i try to use it im getting a public key not available error. Ive searched for a fix but cant seem to find a working key, any chance you can point me in the right direction? Many thanks
I'm just so overwhelmed. I got thrown into learning linux because I couldn't get rid of these scammers that tricked me. And couldn't afford the pros. So now I'm stuck trying to learn linux. Not to mention I accidently ran the linux shell script on a windows. So... there's that 🙈
😂😂😂 I’ve always had Linux on my computers, but never started to actually use it, until about 4 weeks ago. I have the goal of becoming a pentester now, so I now have a real reason to, and real stuff to use with it. Get Linux basics for hackers. The amount I’ve learned from it is absolutely wild. Once you finish it, get some books on shell scripting. I’m gonna go back to a few chapters that are towards the end of LBFH, once I really get the other IT basics down.
I'm using a certain distro that starts with an "a" along with hyperland and it supports my Nvidia GPU better than Windows once I got it working correctly. Which is honestly insane and I think very rare
I just don't know how to fix it, but same here I strive to be a cyber security professional one day now, they've had my life a mess for over a year and a half now, they turned my home wifi router into a public router and have been living in the shadows for God knows how long and have done unimaginable amount of damage to my mental health, and not being in a financial situation to pay someone to fix every device in my house. I'm really stuck, it's hard to navigate in the terminal, and running that linux bash script on the windows computer. After they scammed me and I was just trying to download IT tool to help and I accidently installed it as root, bc I followed the windows video word for word, instead of "do u want to trust this program" as i was thinking it was going to, it asked if I was "installing as root" later I find a Wireshark network after resetting the network adapter. And putting all that info together, the possibilities in your imagination can do the rest. Lol.
this is going to sound really fuckt up....but im really in love with your voiceś.....they are so calm and alpha like......i know im fucking wired wrong :D but seriously. love listining to you bouth talk. its so calming. and the topic is golden ;)
Sir can u pls make a video guide for flashing nethunter for OnePlus 7t Indian variant ,,no videos or guides for OnePlus 7t Indian variant in TH-cam pls sir❤

Very interesting.

Can’t thank you enough for your support for the community. Will there be any new addition coming for Linux for Hacker? Like to buy the new version.
A video on kali for Ubuntu might be a good idea(I use lubuntu n just found it, clearing my whole kali partition which is nice)
Also luks nuke installation would be cool (I found it after kali on Ubuntu, using synaptic)
When I tested the nuke password after installing another lububtu installation (where I had kali) it actually worked...

Just an idea for a video to ease new Linux users into kali, or people who've used Ubuntu so long they don't wanna change, I think the github is kali-on-Ubuntu or ububtu-with-kali something like that
Tho maybe it's too niche a topic for a video...

Hello yes it's a best IT channel AND welcome back Mt OTW
Indeed great content! Keep up the good work, both of you!
I've been waiting for further episodes of this . . . . but no episode 5 so far. Is this the end?
bogus b.s. if you recommend buying VMware over installing KVM/Qemu instead. Both are free and part of Linux. This is more like Hacking for Beginners.
I don't knownif it's just me but a video on repos would be helpful.
Hi David, great video as usual. Im having problems adding the kali library to my ubuntu system. I added the link as OTW showed on his sources list. However when i try to use it im getting a public key not available error. Ive searched for a fix but cant seem to find a working key, any chance you can point me in the right direction? Many thanks
