DTG is the way to go, I have Printful handle my orders. My merch store doesn’t make a ton of money, but it also take basically no time and effort. I sell my shirts for $18 plus shipping and my cut is $9. DTG through Printful is great cause they do all the work.

yes basically, you can also do what i do, inkjet transfers with a vinly cutter, its all under $1k but the shirts last way less than dtg but its 100% worth it imo
Another thing to mention about vinyl is that it doesn’t take that many washes before the vinyl starts to break down, compared to say, screen printed shirts. Awesome video though man!
PSA: Vinyl printing, don't mess with dtg dtf sublimation or screen printing. They are time consuming and limited to specific media. Vinyl prints work on everything, even ribbed fabric. If you wanna start t-shirt biz, vinyl print + embroidery. You'll only want to do dtg if you're a designer brand like ed hardy shirts etc. What you're doing is on demand print for customers and vinyl is the best way to go. It's sturdy and lasts for several years of washing without cracking.

Dude, too expensive. The cheapest way is iron-on and you can use a decent epson inkjet color printer. I like the video ONLY if I was at a professionalism level. For independent starters we can definitely go for something cheaper and still make beautiful shirts! Just saying.
