    Great video as always. I was wondering , as you're leaving the yard ( 1: 22 ) there appear to be speed sensors along the track . Are these used for you to synchronize your indicated speed in the cab?

      Hello Lyle. I think what you are referring to is a de-icing station that sprays the bogies and brake systems. As the train travels a little further you can see the blue signs with an icicle crossed through signifying the length of train passing over it. Hope that helps.

    It seems to me that the Netherlands has one of the best train systems in the world, and that the Dutch are a civilized, progressive people. Also, in your videos, it seems that most of the buildings have been built since the Second World War--is this so?

      After the War The Netherlands expanded rapidly, and still is. So yes, most buildings are post-WW2.
