I love citizen solider I've struggled with depression since I was 15, I'm 23 now and I still struggle with it. They helped me get through my hardest and darkest days in my life. One of my favorite songs by them is tattoo. The reason why I love tattoo is because I can relate to the lyrics please react to it! 🤍

It’s the fathers old adage you’ll miss me when I’m gone. And that’s usually how it works they realize things after your dead. It’s like losing a part of a workforce you didn’t notice then suddenly all these problems pop up. My dad wanted to move after us kids got out cause the yard work was to much mom didn’t want to finally dad left for 2 months. Suddenly mom had to mow weed and clean the pool things broke and couldn’t be fixed. Now they are looking for a new house but seriously unfortunately they don’t miss you till your gone. Again Dax to be a man you feel like they only stay for what you provide!

Its easier to fake a smile and hide away the pain then it is to try to explain to someone why I feel this way

I'm a member of a Christian church and unfortunately, I have found that it's easier to as the song says "pretend I'm ok and fake a smile" than to talk to anyone in the church because no matter how "non-judgemental" the people there say they are supposed to be they do absolutely nothing BUT judge me, judge me for my suicidal thoughts, for the way i talk, for the way i dress, the way i dont have any spare money to put in the collection plate because I'm on a fixed income, you name it so when i have my down and depressed days the church or my mom and hardcore bible thumper are the last places I would go sadly...

I am so sorry, it shouldn’t be this way.

@@LOOKandLIVE365 it shouldn't happen but it does, some of the most rightous of people i have met have been fully tottooed and never went to church a day in their lives, where as some of the people ive been judged by the most have come from within not just my own church but many other churches aswell.

The sad thing is the church doesn't believe in depression

That’s religion for you, intolerance under the guise of a fictitious deity.

Hello Pastor James, my name is Julia. I like you Video and you show me another perspektive. At one point I lightly disagree or to put it out better I have anonther explanation. The line was " judge me for what I cannot change". I think this can mean also that a lot of people cant change the state of depression. The trauma or the negative things that could caused it aren't gone like its never happend. Yes, there are also therapists you could go to, speak about it. But sometime these thouhgt aren't gone completly even wenn you try as hard as you can, they can still be there and can effect you and your life, youre behavier and sometimes other people, friends, or even family can see it and start to jugde or distance because of that.
Sometime you can't change these things, I wish it could be that easy but its not.
But you can try to live with it, make the best out of it, get hope, prey, speak about it.
God bless you and thank you for the video 😊

Can u react to good enough for God from him to me I feel like it talks aby the struggle of Christianity and how it's not a easy faith to follow definitely if u have a mental disability and hiw easy it is to question your faith and that Christianity is not perfect but just imperfectly imperfect it is
