I'm someone who had never heard of Nu'est before they appeared on Produce 101. Even when they first appeared, I wasn't initially interested in them. But as they talked about their hardships and I saw many comments saying that they released very good songs, I decided to go and listen to a couple of them. Now I'm here about 2 weeks later, with Nu'est the first new group I've stanned since I started stanning Exo 3 years ago. Kim Jonghyun is seriously threatening my bias list as well. I can't believe that I've been so ignorant of them for so long, and I feel so sorry for everything that they've went through. I feel so sorry that only under these circumstances did I discover them. I remember watching the comeback stages for this song and being so sad that the crowds were silent and they didn't get very high on the charts. At KCON the crowd was going nuts and finally giving NU'EST the cheers they've deserved all along. My boys have come so far.

exactly this! I’ve been a loyal ELF ever since I knew of kpop back in 2013. I did listen to other groups but promised myself to be only an ELF. Back then NU’EST was already one of my favorite groups. I supported them until overcome but then I took a break from kpop because of school. Now I feel so guilty that I only knew of love paint after I heard they where going to be on produce 101. Watching them on that brought back the feelings I had when I first watched Face and Action mv’s. I was also shocked to know that their album Re:BIRTH has’t done well. I loved that album and bought it because I found them really talented and unique. I’m actually glad that I will break my promise now, and officially call myself a LOVE too! ~ And I’m also gad that I finally came to watch love paint for the first time since I thought I would burst in tears and feel aweful for neglecting them.. :(

TBH a large number of us here have previously slept on Nuest and is too a certain extent salty about produce 101's result rn :/ however, can u imagine nuest without their leader for the next 18 months, or how minki would've felt if he was the only one not in the top 11... the best thing we can do right now, as one united fandom, is to take this as a blessing in disguise, think that this has happened for a reason- for the remaining nuest members to now come back stronger even if lacking a member. But this does not mean not supporting minhyun in Wanna One. I cannot imagine how lonely and how wrong he feels to be in the top 11:( everyone, pls pls continue to support both nuest as well as minhyun in Wanna One. And while we wait for nuest to prepare for their next release, continue streaming their music, mvs. Make it top the charts and bring their music out to the other knets who are still sleeping on them. Just one more thing, no matter how the line up turned out, remember that the main reason why they joined pd101 wasn't to make it to Wanna One (albeit this was a nice reward) but to bring their name out to the knets, and gain more popularity and support frm everyone. These five deserve the world. Jonghyun (JR) especially. He has worked so hard as a rapper, an idol, and above all else - a leader. He was only 17 when they debuted, he was the same age that most maknae are when they debut - yet he had to lead the group. Jonghyun has stayed strong for years as the leader of Nu'est through all of the hardships and the lost fans, through heavy debt and the threat of possible disbandment. Despite all of that he kept moving forward and he carried so much of the burden as their leader, just so he could protect the other members of Nu'est. He needs more love.
they never built a big fandom in korea because Pledis sent them right away overseas to promote. People in korea barely know NU'EST and internationally they're not that known either. In Japan they've done kind ok, but it's korea where it matters more. This fandom was never big, as it could have been. And that's Pledis lack of professionalism

Nu'est are so damn underrated. Hardcore iGot7 here but i came to support Nu'est after seeing them in PD101, and i think i also became a fan of them. I can't believe a group like this is not big in Korea. I don't believe that was their idea. I think they were forced by Pledis to do that. It did manage to work, but the backlash was really bad.

I still cannot get over with all of this. Jonghyun, Dongho and Minki not debuting. Is okay, i'm not going to talk about so many members joining the final line up but at least let Jonghyun debut because for me he deserves the spot the most. Yes, i am bae jinyoung's fan but I CAN SEE JONGHYUN'S HARD WORK, LEADERSHIP, KINDNESS AND EVERYTHING. Y'all, I fucking sobbed in the audience when NU'EST performed this at KCON LA 2019. I remember watching the comeback stages for this song and being so sad that the crowds were silent and they didn't get very high on the charts. At KCON the crowd was going nuts and finally giving NU'EST the cheers they've deserved all along. My boys have come so far.
Wow very impressed! I saw them debut and hadn't payed much attention afterwards because I'm a very loyal ELF. But seeing them on Produce 101 made me want to break my Super Junior only rule. I'm now for the first time in 8 years I'm opening my heart to a group other than SuJu. I've listened to other but never really cared about supporting them. But NU'EST somehow changed that. I’ve been a loyal ELF ever since I knew of kpop back in 2013. I did listen to other groups but promised myself to be only an ELF. Back then NU’EST was already one of my favorite groups. I supported them until overcome but then I took a break from kpop because of school. Now I feel so guilty that I only knew of love paint after I heard they where going to be on produce 101. Watching them on that brought back the feelings I had when I first watched Face and Action mv’s. I was also shocked to know that their album Re:BIRTH has’t done well. I loved that album and bought it because I found them really talented and unique. I’m actually glad that I will break my promise now, and officially call myself a LOVE too!
~ And I’m also gad that I finally came to watch love paint for the first time since I thought I would burst in tears and feel aweful for neglecting them.. :(

TBH a large number of us here have previously slept on Nuest and is too a certain extent salty about produce 101's result rn :/ however, can u imagine nuest without their leader for the next 18 months, or how minki would've felt if he was the only one not in the top 11... the best thing we can do right now, as one united fandom, is to take this as a blessing in disguise, think that this has happened for a reason- for the remaining nuest members to now come back stronger even if lacking a member. But this does not mean not supporting minhyun in Wanna One. I cannot imagine how lonely and how wrong he feels to be in the top 11:(
everyone, pls pls continue to support both nuest as well as minhyun in Wanna One. And while we wait for nuest to prepare for their next release, continue streaming their music, mvs. Make it top the charts and bring their music out to the other knets who are still sleeping on them.
Just one more thing, no matter how the line up turned out, remember that the main reason why they joined pd101 wasn't to make it to Wanna One (albeit this was a nice reward) but to bring their name out to the knets, and gain more popularity and support frm everyone. These five deserve the world. Jonghyun (JR) especially.
He has worked so hard as a rapper, an idol, and above all else - a leader. He was only 17 when they debuted, he was the same age that most maknae are when they debut - yet he had to lead the group. Jonghyun has stayed strong for years as the leader of Nu'est through all of the hardships and the lost fans, through heavy debt and the threat of possible disbandment. Despite all of that he kept moving forward and he carried so much of the burden as their leader, just so he could protect the other members of Nu'est. He needs more love.

I am not a fan of NU'EST but I feel terrible for the backlash they're receiving for being in produce 101 because they're an official kpop group. What I have noticed is people recognize NU'EST yet they don't want to support them. I think it's fine personally if they're on the show.. I plan to support them more

Nu'est are so damn underrated. I admit I didn't pay them too much attention before I saw them on Produce 101, but they're all have super nice personalities, they're so musically talented, and Jonghyun is such a great leader. After watching him on the show, I grew such a soft spot for him.
These boys deserve so much. As a multi-fan (though mostly ARMY, Exo-L and BABY), I'll support them as much as I can.

Hardcore iGot7 here but i came to support Nu'est after seeing them in PD101, and i think i also became a fan of them. I can't believe a group like this is not big in Korea. While watching PD101, i came to realize that they're one of those guys there who are REALLY talented. They're my favorites in the show tbh, along with other trainees.
