we only use this the first day founders day and last day of school or special occasions than the full school song will be played if not it will either be verse 1/2/3
Well I remember there was also another recording of this school song back in 2017/2018 played at a different key. (I was born in 2003 and attended this school from 2016-2019)
Both are you are partially correct. The school used to be called Katong Girl's School, which was founded in 1924. However, the English section of it (which became a boy's school called Choon Guan English school) merged with Dryburgh English School (to form the two schools that are still existing today, Koh Chuan Presbyterian Primary and Secondary Schools) in 1974.
However, we consider the school's history in the past as Katong Girl's School as part of our heritage, so we also consider the founding of Katong Girl's School as our own.
Thank you so much appreciate the effort
