Wish more people would give credit to Gem here. Good keyboard playing here but even better guitar playing. His takes on Oasis solos are pretty amazing. Super underrated guitarist. If only he got to sing more in Oasis.
One of the best venues, Noel Gallagher is on fire at the moment. He has been for many years, seriously good on and off the stage! Maximum respect Noel and U.C.
+John Smith I actually think this was tighter (as far as the Oasis tunes go) than his High Flying Birds performances, loved the arrangements here and the delivery. Almost would've been better with less drums, only having 'em on the tunes that ABSOLUTELY required them, I found them a distraction...the moments with just Noel on acoustic, Gem doing some melodic 2nd guitar, and then the backup musos doing atmospherics, like the keyboard drones and whatnot...that was the best. I would love to see a High Flying Birds tour done in this style, with him just taking his lead guitarist and some of the rest of the band only for atmospherics and texture sounds, really bring the songwriting to the forefront. They play a lot of Oasis tunes anyway, and they could do the HFB songs in this stripped-away style as well. "Death of You and Me" would be excellent as an acoustic, folky singalong

Why is there some miserable people in the audience not singing along to this and the miserable people are not even smiling???, i would be singing in tune if possible to every word and never forgotten this day in my life, Fantastic Performance Noel.
Craig A Dunlea Noel never said he was an amazing guitar player though, and I doudbt that he really cares. He doesn't play the guitar very technically so it doesn't matter anyway.

I love how the first 3 songs were b-sides, yet have become classics... the 90s, what a time!!
