Make no mistake, although I spoke a little rough about the Banshee in the video, I absolutely love it! It has always been one of my all-time favorite quads ever since I was a teenager. The Banshee absolutely dominated the sector back in the day but proves to be no match compared to the modern day high compression four strokes. I was impressed with the overall performance of the Renegade 1000. Can-Am has certainly engineered a pinnacle machine!
I’ll never forget in 2006 I had a good running piped (FMF) banshee. My buddy bought a 2006 Yamaha raptor 700 and he beat me in a drag race. I couldn’t believe it! I kept racing him over and over because I thought that there could be no way he beat my banshee. After about five races, I ended up admitting defeat! Ever since then I’ve been on a Raptor 700! Lol!!!
Dune! My quad brother from another mother 🤘😁 Make no mistake, I absolutely love the Banshee and back in the day it dominated the sector! The modern day, high compression, four strokes, with precision timing are just too powerful against the engineering of yesterday. The Raptor was the dawn of the modern day four strokes! The Raptor has been my favorite for so long for this very reason. It's such a powerful machine on such an awesome platform! I will say the Renegade is definitely another favorite of mine! I never knew that I would fall in love with such a hunky machine 🤣🤣
Awesome!! I'm so glad I was able to help you! 🤘😎 I appreciate your support and allowing me to entertain you! Hopefully I can bring you years of entertainment!
Also keep in mind back then manufacturers weren't trying to squeeze every bit of horsepower. I'm curious as to how much horsepower you can get out of that renegade with porting, heads, cam compared to how much you get out of the banshee.
That's some nice race'n... Canams are the Quads to beat... Would be interesting to have a legendary 1987 Suzuki LT500 go against the Renegade 1000 with equal weight riders or just time each one with a 1/4 mile device.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL I would like to see that Race!! Also Race a 2009 Honda trx 700xx as those were one of the fastest Quads ever built also. Top speed around 86 mph I think. But not in production very long.
New subscriber here, found your channel from the awesome short vids you do haha. Recently moved out to high springs fl and looking to get into quads soon. I couple vids back I seen you ride by the Santa fe and I think we’re from the same area.
Thanks!! 🤘😎 Welcome to the area! Yes, I live near the Santa Fe River. Once you get a quad let me know and I will show you the highway of dirt roads lol.
@quadnationOG I'm in NC, and I run gbc xc master's. It made a huge difference going from stock tire. I'm actually starting to look at getting a renegade because they do seem to be a smoother ride for the older I get. My question would be. Do you feel connected to the quad and the terrain like you do on a banshee or 400ex, or is there so much there that it's almost a disconnect and you're riding a jet ski on water? I've been told it takes less skill than riding a banshee or 450r, and there's not nearly as much user input with shifting body weight. What's your opinion. Thanks
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL no I get it it’s just that they’re so different in every way like comparing a Ford raptor to a Subaru STI lol your channel is awesome and great content
The stock banshee does nothing compared to todays quads. Someone said this before and it stuck with me. Banshees are like the supras of the atv world. People think their crazy fast stock Bc everyone sees videos of them having 1000hp+, and in this case having 70hp all the way up to 130HP. I have a built banshee that beats 450s and 700s (relatively stock one’s) stock for stock the banshee doesn’t stand a chance.
Because I'm the second owner and was able to really understand the history of this machine, I estimated the hours to be less than 100 hours at the time of this race. Therefore the engine and the clutch should be in good spec. Also, I had put it on the dyno 20 hours before this race and the dyno did not indicate any slippage and actually showed really good horsepower numbers for factory.

Haha ha just a bit undersized 2 go against that.
Try a pipped banshee
My banshee destroys those renegades but it has work done to the motor

@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL we all know if you build a banshee, it would still be the fastest quad out there in a drag race. But it takes money 💰!!!!
A mildly built banshee will hang with a renegade 1000
It would beat it easily
I love watching your videos they’re mad entertaining and your the one who taught me how to use clutch, I thank you a lot for that❤
Awesome!! I'm so glad I was able to help you! 🤘😎 I appreciate your support and allowing me to entertain you! Hopefully I can bring you years of entertainment!
a piped banshee would be fair tbh the stock pipes are very
restrictive and a 15t sprocket for some top end {great vid btw} XD
Thanks!! 🤘😎 It would be interesting to see how much you would have to modify on the Banshee to keep up with the Renegade
Also keep in mind back then manufacturers weren't trying to squeeze every bit of horsepower. I'm curious as to how much horsepower you can get out of that renegade with porting, heads, cam compared to how much you get out of the banshee.
The shee will be reliable, the renegade will always be a piece of🎉

Thanks man! Moved from Jacksonville, got tired of that city life. Love the peace and quiet out here, I’m right by Oleno park.
Put some good tires on the banshee, and it would be night and day. Those rears look bald
It would help but they are about 50% tread

can you do a bruteforce 750 vs canam vs banshe?btw love your vids
Brute force's are low horsepower like 45-50 apparently...
Renegade 800 would be one even theoretically.
I will try to find a Bruteforce for you but if I can't I could race a 660 Grizzly 🤘😁
Thx
When's your next vid?
Ill buy that banshee or maybe trade some nice 2A gear ha ha(Nice colts FN SCAR Beretta ARX Gock 17 gen1), Good video!
Can Am All The Way
Let me know about selling the Banshee
Aww you kids nowadays thinking top speed means everything smh I would jump over that can-am to get that banshee
I'm demonstrating just speed here but the Renegade is more capable in every aspect except for quick spin arounds

I agree 💯 This is so true! A modified Banshee is a dangerous machine but not so much in the stock form.
Duahhh. It's like comparing your hellcat automatics vs 6 speed. I know 99% are autos. That ain't ridinf.
🤣🤣🤣
My question is why start off in second gear
where do you ride?
Columbia Country, Florida
Even the quad in grand theft auto was named banshee
Ha! I never knew that! I played Vice City but don't remember it having a Banshee. Which GTA was it?
@quadnationOG like all of them.
Stock pipes on a banshees totally choke them out….
Are you gonna race it against the raptor 700 or megatron soon?
Absolutely!! 🫡 Sorry I've been a bit slow to upload. I've already filmed the race with Megatron and hopefully we'll have the video up within a week 🤘😁
Make it fair
How? I gave the Banshee a huge advantage every time
84?
Yes
Lol that’s a stock banshee ltry that again with a banshee with some work
How old the Banshee? The rings gone? Just heard 😂what the clutch 20 years old 😂😂😂

Race a polaris scrambler 1000 , apples to apples
You must be the only person to have a stock banshee. Lol
Yeah 🤣🤣🤣 LMAO
My renegade 1k pulls almost 4 quads on a stock renegade. My old raptpr 700 with bug 5 would beat my renegade in 2wd but not 4wd
That's interesting! Thanks for sharing!
350cc vs 1000 and he just about pulls away when they are up to speed...
The top speeds are close, Renegade 82 MPH and the Banshee 76 MPH
Stock banshee, they really aren’t fast stock.
👀👀
🤘😁
Wait until you see how well it did against Megatron!
I wonder 💭
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL it s a 1000cc bro … you’ll have to give the raptor at least a bike length and a hit lol ….
Should find some pavement to race in lanes
love the Donald Trump hand gestures!😂😂😂😂
Hey
😬 "PromoSM"
But is it fast..lol
🤣🤣🤣 LMAO! Yes! Lol
omg so obsolete banshee came to be 😥
Haha! You sounded a little like Yoda! Yes it certainly has!
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL 🤣 you should keep that banshee anyway 😎
