Nice to see the Goal Seek function. We had that in 1987 in PFS:Plan, a spreadsheet software product of Software Publishing Corporation, now defunct. It was one of the big three manufacturers in the early days of Silicon Valley.

I have said this before and I will say it again: the entire team at Microsoft should have been given some equivalent of the Nobel Prize for inventing Excel.

14:15 Number 14 - Absolute Cell Reference
Quicker way to do it is select the cell reference, then press the F4 key. Also, you can lock either the row (e.g., A$1) or column (e.g., $A1) by pressing F4 once or twice (F4 scrolls through the options).
