Hi 👋. I’m currently in the process of making Brussels to add to the collection. I now have pump, plates numbers etc ready for conversion. Since this video was made I have acquired a further 6 of these j94’s to represent various j94’s that worked the LMR. When I convert the model to Brussels I will probably do a video. Speaking of 118, I have acquired many images of the loco from its days at longmoor up to present day showing many differences to the water tank, Westinghouse pump location and its fuel source. It has to be said that Brussels has had a very varied life. 👍

I’m guessing the pipe work is something to do with McMurdo’s oil firing system. 156 was originally named Tobruk.

Hi Colin, I have so many of these Longmoor loco's now, all renumbered and renamed to represent different loco's from the railway. Using the many books available i have even added the subtle differences they all had like air pumps etc. Thank you for getting in touch Colin

@@AidansRailways Thanks for responding. Love the LMR - and especially J94’s - all the way from Australia!

The pipe is for the "train brake" as this loco is suitable for hauling passenger trains with "continues brakes", so gets the vacuum from the smokebox, the other loco has no pipe as it is "unfitted", so cannot hail passenger trains.
