Sweet climb ! Up in canada we have Biothic people ancient tribe on the East Coast and the nezperse on the west coast also thousands of years theHaida Dene up north here. Cool ! 😎✌️♥️
@allenthibault9523 Thank you! It was a pretty rough trip, but so worth it! I'll have to look into those other sites you mentioned, ancient cultures and their ruins are so fascinating! Thanks for watching, and for the info!
Another amazing ruin settlement in that area is Chalk Canyon petroglyphs by Cave Creek on old FS 48, which loops up to Trail #4. Straight above these are more petroglyphs and rock walls on the mesa west of Trail #4, that loops back to Spur Cross. This site is in line of site of the one you just did. Oh, the bull hangs out down there also.
Amazing views! Now I can describe it to others as if I did the 18-mile trek! 😆 At 20:32 you’re standing next to a ring of rocks no bigger than, say, the perimeter of a tent. Do you think these were the structures the Hoboken actually lived in?
It was definitely a rough hike, that's for sure-- probably won't be going back anytime soon! I think that area you're describing is the remains of a corner of a larger structure-- the camera angle makes it look rounder than it actually is, so we can blame GoPro for that...😂 Thanks for watching!
That Mesa is a hell of a hike to get to. I explored some of it looking for ruins last spring but only found petroglyphs and pottery. I was looking at the wrong part of the Mesa obviously.
Agreed, just getting to the mesa is pretty rough! The first time I went up I did the same thing it sounds like you did, so when I went back I made sure I had a better idea of where the ruins were. It was a long day, but what an amazing experience!
Greetings! The site in question dates back to approx 1200ACE. As I am not an academic historian, I was using the word descriptively-- as in "very old : having lived or existed for a very long time"-- not academically. Sorry for the confusion!

Awesome, thanks for the tip! I'll definitely have to check that out-- love finding the historical and secluded sights.
So amazing! What an incredible find!😲
It was such an amazing experience! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! I really miss exploring AZ but now I can do it again through you.
It's so awesome to hear that! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for showing us your journey and the hard work no doubt comes in the filming and editing of the content vs the hike!
It's true! Though this time the hike was pretty tough as well...😅 Thanks for watching!
Lovely solo hike friend, your content is so nicely captured!
Thank you! 😊
Excellent job buddy.
Thanks man, you would've really enjoyed that spot, it was pretty magical!
That is awesome. Can you imagine how much work it was just to get water up there. We are spoiled nowadays, lol.
Agreed! Considering how hard it was for me to get myself and my backpack of water up there, I don't think I would've lasted long back then!😂

Sherds. Metate right there also...
Good eye! There was so much going on at that site, such an amazing place!
But thanks doing it …
Thanks for watching!
American history isn’t very ancient… what kind of ruin we are talking… ???

Maybe not the US history but the land has plenty of ancient history .
You’re right. The crazy thing is how America is so much more advanced than everyone else yet we haven’t been around as long. 🤔
