Your English is coming along nicely! Keep up the awesome work! I love the insight to your culture and your world. It's neat to see the small things you might not have even considered to be interesting. For example the decor choices, product branding, markets, transportation and more. Cheers!
Ryoya just gave me a really good idea for learning Japanese. Recite a memorized phrase for something I am actually DOING. This will improve retention tremendously. Now, how do I know if the phrase is the correct one? 😅
Find the right phrase in the first place.....watch ppl speak the language u wanna learn....you will definitely get it.....the more you listen the better will u learn....
この動画を見せてくれてありがとうございます! I was expecting a nice vlog about kitchen improvements. I found a small treasure made of everyday life with warmth and kindness from the people you live with. And yeah, thank you SO MUCH for showing every time little parts of Kyoto. I lived there for 3 months in 2017, and watching the Gion exit on Kamogawa brought the best memories I have. Hopefully, this year I will be back there. It's just the most beautiful city in the world (and I live in Venice rn).
Your friends seem so chill!!! Thank you for sharing your day, I’ve been loving all the vlogs so much! 💙 hopefully I’ll be in Kyoto next year so these videos make me so excited to be there 😭
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn English. I am now learning Japanese and will hopefully soon give my comments in Japanese!!! Without a translator🙏I love your videos and learn a lot! Both your channels. You Tube is lucky to have you!!!
i loved watching this video. I like that you are speaking English and Japanese and adding English subtitles to the Japanese. I like the ways that you find opportunities to use English, it gives me ideas to improve my own learning techniques thanks Ryoya.
Started watching you when I was working in my home country. I am still watching you and your Peaceful Cuisine, difference is that I'm working now in Tokyo. Hope to see you one day, Ryoya! Keep posting great videos, you're an inspiration and role model.
I had a really crappy morning but thanks to Ryoya's upload, now it makes me smile seeing you're back to DIY again! It surprised me that your English improved as well!
OMG how can a man as perfect as you still single?? I really love your videos. Especially your vlogs. Your cooking videos also very nice. It inspired me to try cooking myself
Hello from the Uk. We do not have public baths in the Uk, swimming pools yes bath houses no.😭 But I'm glad you're beautiful country does. Never knew you spoke English...😊 Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Thank you so much for speaking in english, it´s definately better than reading the subtitles! Now I am enjoying your blogs more than ever :)! Good work - THANK YOU!!!
I love those insights to your everyday life in Kyoto. Made it on top of the list of cities I'd like to visit! Great video, as usual! Cheers from Italy xx
Hi Takashima-san. I'm your new subscriber 😁. Feeling glad found your channel. How can you do everything at once? I mean, you vlog-ing your daily life, making something for your kitchen, learning English, etc. In the video, you present everything clearly and detail. And you look so enjoy while doing everything. You're really hard worker. Such an inspiration. 本当にすごいです。
I'm usually pretty bad at eating variety of vegetables. But when I visited Japan last year my relationship with food got so much better, and I ate new vegetables I never thought I'd like. I'll definitely check out the vegan spots you recommended for my next trip! Can't wait for your next daily vlog :)
Your English is getting better and better! 😎 One little thing I've noticed at 7:21... I am not a native English speaker, but I think it should be "I can highly recommend the public bath/bathhouse that I went TO." 🤔 Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. 😳
Hello from Copenhagen, Denmark. Came here via your cooking videos. Love your Vloqs. Great to see your life in Kyoto. You seem like a multi talented highly intelligent person. My wife and I plan on visiting Japan for the first time next year. Keep up the good work you do. Cheers, Claus
A public bath is normally refereed to as a "bath house" or "bathhouse"; though, "spa" can also be used, but the connotations, and therefore the experience, are not quite the same. A bathhouse is most like a 銭湯, while a spa is a place you go to get pampered and massaged.
Bathhouse has creepier, rather dubious connotations. Not exactly the family oriented, respectable ambiance of an onsen. Hot spring bath maybe or hot spring spa?
@@cristinasujoy: But he didn't go to an onsen. He went to a "sento", which is like a bathhouse. Just because there are some people that associate "bathhouse" with gay people and gay sex, does not mean that all bathhouses are places to fornicate in.
Man, thanks for sharing the way of living in Japan! But please, don't stop to speak in Japanese! I know adding subtitles is mendoukusai but it is a big, true value in your videos! Thanks for all! Ganbattene~!
Dont take this the wrong way boy, where are you right now? If you are in china or near there, take care of yourself and your family ok? I hear about the that virus, and hope all your family and your friends are safe.. Hugs from across the pond..
I dont mind watching Ryoya doing mundane things. His vlogs are so entertaining!

I usually learn by making a phrase and then write it in a translator. If it makes sense. Thats good !
Find the right phrase in the first place.....watch ppl speak the language u wanna learn....you will definitely get it.....the more you listen the better will u learn....
I'm working right now, and as soon as i saw that notification, I'm like "Okay, there is something way more important to do right now" :D
I appreciate your dedication. lol
The overhead cam at 1:35 is very clever!
I anticipated a time-lapse of the drawer getting filled with the glasses 😁
it gave me a physical heart attack when he brought the camera over the ledge though xD
I noticed that when you speak English the pitch of your voice changes. I am enjoying your vlogs. You are a very active person.
videowatcher inthearts It happens with many people. Behavior/attitude/gestures can be influenced as well when one speaks a different language.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. 😳
You can also say " I highly recommend" and leave the "can" out.
Your English, is off the chain! Keep it up, I’m going to start learning Japanese soon as well. I hope to do as well as you. I really enjoyed the vlog!
The shot you took from upstairs (where you film the kitchen drawers part) is quite nice! Also, you friend from the café seems really nice :D
