  • Mods:
    -Lubed, filmed gateron jades
    -holee modded, mmd princess v2 stabs, baind aid below the stems
    -filled the spacebar with handkerchief and taped down
    -ixpe film between the switches and positioning plate
    -3 layer of tape + sidetaped pcb
    -eva dampener below the pcb
    -replaced the abs with doubleshot five side dye sub pbt keycaps
    Summary:
    NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE HIDUSBF, IT CAN CAUSE ISSUES WITH YOUR KEYBOARD
    Pros:
    -sturdy build quality(no creaks whatsoever)
    -rapid trigger works well, even at 0.1mm accuracy
    -good latency values, no chord splitting
    -software is mid
    -remapping
    -single and all key calibration
    -DKS, MT, TGL
    -lot of rgb options
    -macro
    -price tag
    Cons:
    -actuation point: adjusting it below 0.8mm, the keyboard will going to press buttons randomly(might be related to the rgb, enviromental temperature or the bad firmware it has) there is no a real fix for it. playing with calibration might get you rid of this. It seems not everyone having this kind of issue, and it can be various by user to user.
    -lack of adjustable polling rate option up to 8k in the zuoya software, but it can be enabled due to 3rd party software, using the Irok beta driver, or flashing the Irok firmware and using their official program(1k,2k,4k,8k options available there).
    -forgetting rgb sometimes(it has onboard memory in it, so its weird)
    -fn layer can be really buggy and half of the options not working like: pasting a text sentence, or activating a macro with it.
    -profiles cant be saved different rapid trigger settings correctly, unless you using the latest Irok beta software.
    timelines:
    0:00 sound test
    0:48 gameplay
    2:33 appearance

    My X86 just arrived and I flashed the ND75 firmware thanks to you! Thank u so much! But I have a question, how the did you open this keeb, I can't find out how to open this lmao

      Nice! So ye its pretty hard to open it. I was able to start to take off the kb cover layer, by inserting a small card between the f5-f8 layer(picture: prnt.sc/brmVALcsTT69 ) and then stretch it slowly around the whole keyboard

    Sounds amazing. So what did you do about 8000hz at the end, running stock software or HIDUSBF or Iroknd75 beta software?

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So the way im using it:
      Let hidusbf on with the keyboard at 8k.
      Setting the rgb and key remaps in the zuoya then close it.
      Opening up irok nd75 beta, configuring the rapid trigger options if I wanted, calibration if needed, and set 8k in that program.
      Everytime I wanna change the rgb, going to do all these things again, except hidusbf.

      I forgot to ask you 2 months ago. Just replacing the stock for the Jades switches make any difference? Sound, pressure, performance, e etc... looking for a more rigid switch.

      @@paulotakahama less travel definitely noticable, i prefer shorter travel so the jades good for me, sound is very subjective thing, it sounds a bit cleaner I might say, the switches maybe was a bit less fatigure to spam press than ks-20 whites, but I swapped it with 28g springs and now its even be a bit lighter.

    I've been going through the comments of your previous video and trying to make sense of what drivers to use. I'm not bothered about rgb or key mapping, just rapid trigger & actuation point. I'm currently using Zuoyas, but the actuation point is set to 0.1mm but stays about the same as keys without RT, etc. Is this my issue with configuration?

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Im using both of drivers, zuoya for rgb, key remap, and irok for the rapid trigger. Dont know about this issue since I always used RT. Btw do you have any problems with set 0.1 to 0.7mm actuation point generates random keypresses?

      You can replace the zuoya firmware with the irok one, made a tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/zaONMmuv7ZU/w-d-xo.html

      @@xsppjosh8597 I actually dont know now how can I deal with your problem, try to reset the keyboard if you didnt do that before.
      To be clear: so you need to select the specific key(s) you wanna change, click on them or click&hold to select multiple keys, then check the boxes to enable "quick trigger" and "journey of pressing and releasing", adjust it as your preferences, then you have to press the "apply" button on the right side of the app. If its still does not work, idk, If I were in this situation might ask for a replacement it looks like a huge issue to me.

      I actually dont wanna open up again, cause it was so hard I tought I will break the abs material. But if it helps with anything, there is already installed a thin kind of foam in it, and was a no problem of applying a 1mm eva dampener under the pcb, and 3 layer of painters tape.

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was inserted slim cards to be easier to pull up the plastic frame. Started with the f5-f8 keys at first, then slowly lifting/stretching the upper casing all around.

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It have inside these kind of plastic clips which holds the upper case in place. That needed to be popped out, with a card like an expired bankcard.

    So how good was the rapid trigger perf of the board? Waiting for ur answer brother

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rt with this kb is pretty fast and responsive to me. Especially if you didnt had a hall effect keyboard before, you will need to kinda relearn how a key can actually presses. (in a good way).
      The reset of the triggers works so goood even at 0.1mm, unlike on example: endgame gear, which had to need press +1mm to actuates after a short keypress
      The only downsides I encountered with this keyboard is the low actuation point you set. So if you set it below roughly 0.6mm, you will have some random keypresses(it can vary by users).
      Let me know if you have any more questions about it 😇

    • @Kokos_Gadgets
      @Kokos_Gadgets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you able to take advantage of the rapid trigger function, then it yeah. When I finally got this keyboard, immediately beat my best scores with in games. If I disable the rapid trigger to act like a mechanical keyboard its still performing really gooood.
