I'd say Cosmo is 100% needed in the current meta because Aero is in pretty much every deck. You play your 30 power Red Skull behind Cosmo and you know it can't get Shang'd but you also know that Aero on turn 6 can't be used to drag your Taskmaster into the Red Skull, meaning you're guaranteed that 30 power on 2 locations.
Thoughts on Vision or Capt Marvel to play around Aero and location reach? I'm currently using Marvel since she still does her thing if played t6 (esp with skip into Hulk), but Vision is more raw power
@@KYeung-be4lw I personally prefer Captain Marvel since you can play her on Turn 6 with She Hulk and she'll still be able to move. If you play Vision on Turn 6 you can't move him around anymore so he really has to be played on 5 as an alternative to Red Skull whereas Captain Marvel offers a bit more flexibility for one less power, 2 less with Shuri buff.
Got infinite havung cosmo and armor. Cosmo si just soooo good into thanos to hit his lockjaw lane and against so many other cards like wong, invis woman, aero, etc. Cosmo is a good boy. Also I like cap marvel over vision because I am small brained and she plays all by herself

I didn’t play out many games if I didn’t have Wave turn 5. It just shuts down enemy plays. I’m not great at snapping but turn 5 with those good conditions is prob a great time to do it Edit: Priority isn’t 100% required on turn 6 but it’s very strong with Aero
One problem I have is that I keep fighting for priority as you said. But if I do then the Shuri, Red Skull , Taskmaster combo, then the chances of the opponent using Chang Chi on my Taskmaster is quite high. So having priority is not always good.
Just bought she hulk in the token shop after opening shuri (very lucky i know) in a cache, time to watch this, your dino moon helped me last time so im sure thisll be amazing too

Thanks for the Shuri video. Used my first 3000 tokens on her and already have Zero (got him pretty early after reaching Series 3). Now I just need cards with big numbers to make use of them.
Pass turn 5 into a sunspot and she hulk on 6 is 15 power though, right? She hulk costs 1, sunspot costs 1, so 4 floated mana. Sunspot is 1 power plus the 4 floated mana for 5 power. Then add she hulk's 10 power for 15.
Cosmo is secretly the best card in this deck. You play red skull or she hulk on the Cosmo lane, and then the taskmaster anywhere else. They can’t stop you. They can’t Shang or Aero you. They would have to have priority with Cosmo and guess right, but still win another lane, or they would have to not have priority with Shang and guess right, but also win 2 lanes. Big stats on a Cosmo lane just wins almost every game you make that play. Shuri is bonkers.
I think one good thing about straightforward decks like these in terms of climbing is that you can autopilot your brain somewhat, so it's very easy to just gain consistent cubes. If you think about if you only win 2 cubes but only lose 1 cubes every game, then you only need to win 1 out of every three games to break even (33%), which if you're piloting this properly should be pretty easy to do. A 50% winrate on this setup would net you 1 cube per game which is a lot.

Heimdall and Dr Octopus are working very well instead of She-Hulk and Arnim Zola right now. That said, Arnim is a strong choice too my decision was between him and task master. I'm not seeing very many Shang Chi, and even then you do have the Armor to play on your right lane to defend against it. So many players have straight up quit when I Doc them. Just an easy snap if you get Shuri, Heimdall and Doc. Those 4 cards alone give you 22 Mid, 10 left plus your early game. Gives you 2 different play patterns too, you can Shuri into Red Skull followed by Task Master or Aero depending on the game state as an alternative win condition. I tried the Captain Marvel version (just love the card, wish it was 7 power). I lost everytime I played Shuri into her, shes just not big enough to cost essentially 9 energy for 14 power (Shuri's 2 plus Marvels 12).
Forgot the example deck; 1 Sunspot 1 1 Zero 3 1 Ebony Maw 3 2 Armor 3 2 Lizard 5 3 Cosmo 3 4 Shuri 2 5 Task Master 0 5 Aero 7 5 Dr Octopus 10 5 Red Skull 15 6 Heimdall 8 Cosmo I play where I know that I'm going to play Red Skull so he can't be Shang'd but I will often hold onto him if I'm going to Doc Heim. - Its more risky because if you hit a Shang you lose in most cases Armor is more for Doc - Sometimes Aero saves you if your Zero game was good
Cii oh hold just run sunspot scorpion armor or so and not be so heavy early game. It’s not critical you use zero so they a lot of ways to play out the early game.
Zola is a liability Imo and I prefer the cosmo to add a layer of protection against Shang. They will just aero or cosmo your Zola play every time if red skull is all alone. As for the 1 drops, you could reasonably play iceman over a 1 drop
You should make a deck breakdown for Mr. Negative. It’s a difficult deck to pilot, especially knowing when to snap and when to retreat. Also with Negative decks get hard countered by Sandman, Leech, Wave, Aero which are all meta cards.

I think the idea is that you would be able to ramp into it so that it doesnt matter That way Shuri is less splashable and less consistent but still strong in a deck built around her
I know it's not ever gonna beat the classic Shuri combo but when I didn't have Shuri I would Psylocke on 4, pass on 5 (great Sunspot value here), then play something like Infinaut and She-Hulk or Magneto She-Hulk.

Yeah if you have the line, you can go something like Psylocke and Lizard on turn 4, skip turn 5 because you have 6 mana and then play She-Hulk and a 6 drop on turn 6. I guess it'd be good to run Magik as well for the line you talked about, then you'd have 2 ways to play big cards last turn.
Honestly, what we need right now is how to counter Shuri Zero deck. Baero can be countered with Sandman, Shuri-Zero is a bit more difficult. Shang Chi still pretty often down to 50-50 to counter Shuri-Zero.
As a shuri player there's not a lot of options to counter, mostly what counter this deck is not drawing shuri or some locations against very specific deck with good draws. Also depends on the opponent some shuri decks may try to play with bad draws like no armor or cosmo and shuri on 4 skip 5 to do she hulk taskmaster but sometimes is not enough and you can get shang chid pretty easily so on higher ranks most shuri players will leave
getting hit with an iceman can really derail this deck i know it has happened to me a few times. they hit shuri it makes you a turn too slow. or if they hit redskull you cant follow up with taskmaster. Still a winnable game for the shuri player but it does make it more challenging. If up against a shuri deck i might wait till turn 3 before i hit them with iceman hoping they get their sunspot and armor etc in play to up the chance of me hitting a big card
@@EducatedCollinsSnap Its for this reason that i like having Black Panther in there as another option. He "only" gets to 16 but I already have Zola in my deck so if the RNG works out, I can play Shuri in one lane then BP and Zola in an empty lane. Has been pretty successful for me so far. Granted not everyone has access to BP. I also don't have Zero so i need as much power as i can get at the end.
I have all the cards except Shuri 😭, but I’ve been running a normal zero deck and is pretty good too, I’m close to hit infinite for 2 season in a row, also the majority of the time I have defeated shuri decks have been thanks to aero, it is tricky sometimes because the opponent could Armin Zola, but it seems like they are greedy and just want to do Task, and Aero can beat that

Turn 1 Sunspot, 2 armor, 3 cosmo, 4 shuri, 5 red skull in cosmo lane, 6 task master in armor lane is the optimal game. If you cant get cosmo out, but got armor, then red skull armor and if you sense a shang chi on turn 6, then cosmo, zero, titania that lane or aero then zero. It's brainless but strong.
Shuri + Red Skull got me to 99 this season… but from 99-100 i had to switch to Lockjaw-Thanos, because i got counter in every match since reached 99.. it was frustrating 😅
Th standard deck doesnt have cosmo???? Wow didnt know that now i do ty for telling me that it looks sweet but i run cosmo and vision and sometimes captain marvel but mostly i just play zero into titania into shuri vision/redskull into taskmaster/zeroredskull because of tempo can make u not want to play on 4 if u dont have shuri to buff up ur sunspot and make ur opponents think u have an infinaut

I also love Captain Marvel in the deck even tho it’s only 12 power because it puts the pressure on the whole map. I like it if I don’t get Taskmaster or redskull. So I float T5 into a 12 power Captain Marvel and She Hulk so getting Aero’d is irrelevant.
No nerf. Just buff counters... or other cards. Nerfs are a drag. Or they can figure out how to reimburse people who paid 3 to 6k for Shuri. Not to mention support cards.
Friendly battles, but with viewers? They might have to play certain decks, or a range of decks. They would donate for the privelage, and for bragging rights if they manage to beat you.
Captain Marvel works when she feels like it...there have been times where she woulda won me the game but she stayed put..idk...took her out...cost me too many games where i thought she would do her job.

Cosmo and Armor imo. Both those cards protect from Sheng, and absolutely FUCK on destroy decks with their one-headed predictable plays.

You should have mentioned that redskull will usually be 22 power as supposed to 30 power but great video as always.

You dont need to nerf shuri...just make taskmaster or red skull a 6 cost...make red skull 6 cost...then make his effect +1 instead of +2
And i run this deck...its not shuri's fault...its the other cards that are exploiting her effect
Why not start an alt and do breakdowns starting from Pool1 with gameplay examples? You'd be great at it!
pool 1 -2 is NOT popular on TH-cam, which overall is what really matters. haha I do have an alt that i'm working on though
Shuri + Red Skull got me to 99 this season… but from 99-100 i had to switch to Lockjaw-Thanos, because i got counter in every match since reached 99.. it was frustrating 😅
Th standard deck doesnt have cosmo???? Wow didnt know that now i do ty for telling me that it looks sweet but i run cosmo and vision and sometimes captain marvel but mostly i just play zero into titania into shuri vision/redskull into taskmaster/zeroredskull because of tempo can make u not want to play on 4 if u dont have shuri to buff up ur sunspot and make ur opponents think u have an infinaut
no most decks have cosmo. Haha especially for this meta. I just showcase decks that don't really have lots of tech options, cosmo being one of those.

I originally ran Doc Oct in this deck but with how common Shang Chi is right now I would him down a lot and just kill my own Doc Oct 😢
I also love Captain Marvel in the deck even tho it’s only 12 power because it puts the pressure on the whole map. I like it if I don’t get Taskmaster or redskull. So I float T5 into a 12 power Captain Marvel and She Hulk so getting Aero’d is irrelevant.
No nerf. Just buff counters... or other cards. Nerfs are a drag. Or they can figure out how to reimburse people who
paid 3 to 6k for Shuri. Not to mention support cards.
Friendly battles, but with viewers? They might have to play certain decks, or a range of decks.
They would donate for the privelage, and for bragging rights if they manage to beat you.
I hate this deck I can't get past rank 95 because every game is this and thanos which I don't have either of these cards to make deck

Captain Marvel works when she feels like it...there have been times where she woulda won me the game but she stayed put..idk...took her out...cost me too many games where i thought she would do her job.
