this AMV is AWESOME!!!, Digimon Tamers was one of my favourite childhood shows and it's still is one of my favourite animes and series in general and this video does justice to the show's awesome moments

Best show I watched on Fox kids. Every Saturday I remember waking up turn on my tv put Fox kids channel 5 over here in jersey. Man time flies brotha 30 years old now. Digimon was amazing until digimon savers.
Digimon has a lot of potential and the stories can be pretty gripping at times and it doesn't rely heavily upon the same characters causing trouble every ep as its rival did, I generally got into Digimon more than Pokemon, Pokemon was good for a time but when I realised that the same basic thing was happening every ep, I stopped watching because it was becoming less funny and more infuriating for me, while Digimon being darker and more mature, just drew me in with its complex characters and good stories! I will admit the more resent Digimon shows have been pretty weak story wise, the Adventure reboot is more of a drag, on a similar level to that of Universe App Monsters was and general lack of sense of where the show was going, of course for me, in those early days, I think Digimon had some of the best villians around which seems to be rather lacking these days because they were one of the best things about the show, example, Impmon, goes from a pest hanging around and wanting power, to a powerful monster and then becomes a murderer before under going a redemption arc after his defeat and his story is spread out across the whole of the Tamers season thus making for a intersting character arc

@@nuruddinshah684 avarage at best, mostly a dark monster/problem of the week series, lays a few hints of a larger story but not really exploring them, the series is pretty much lacking a serious major villian, AKA mastermind, Digimon some how cross over into the human world but its not really explaining how or why they are appearing, they are just mainly going through anything that can be kind of unsettling or spooky but that is about it, really, so think a dark Pokemon type series but instead of travelling around a region, its mostly sticking to a unnamed city! In general, I would rank it close to the bottom far as Digimon series go, the problem that adventure 2020, Applimonsters and Boy Hunters, lack of real major villians to carry the show forwards!

One point during the series, there is this build up to access the deeper internet (where the more powerful Applimons are meant to live), after just one ep in that place, the story kind of resets back to the human world and does nothing with it afterwards, thus making the build up, null and void, then later on, they try a Ken/Digimon Emperor type character and quickly discard him as well, that series is generally a massive mess of good ideas but poor execution! Adventure 2020 is another mess, while its longer than the original anime, it does a lot of things wrong, such as at the start, they rushed to get the Ulimate forms for the partners and then, for ages we get nothing and the show starts to drag on, when we get to the so called villian the series builds up to, they are quickly dealt with and suddenly the series has a bunch of eps left to fill and its where they start giving everyone the Mega level forms and go on a crest hunt, for another big bad that was just useless, the only bad guy with any character development was Devimon! So Digimon has kind of gone Pokemon style but minus team rocket

この作品はホントに今でも忘れられない。最終決戦は、まさに、このデジモンvsデジモンではなくなる感じ。 デリーパーとの対決がすごいのよね。 だって、主人公達は最終的にデジモンと一体化して共に戦うんだから。 ホントにこういうのはなかなかない。デジモンでも他でも。 最後らへんで主人公達がパートナーと一体化して戦うヒーローに変わるのはここ以外にないと思う

ベルゼブモンに苦戦してレオモン殺されてギルモン暗黒進化してそれでも負けて絶望だった時ギルモンとタカトの気持ちが一つになった時起きた奇跡。今でも大好きなシーンです。OPの影で究極体が何になるか気になってたけどまさかあんなにかっこいい騎士になるとは思わなかった。ウォーグレイモンといいデジモンの究極体は本当かっこいいですよね😊デュークモン。僕の一番好きなデジモンです。この曲が進化する時かかり当時あまりのカッコ良さに感激し、ベルゼブモンと互角に戦えるようになったことに感動しました。声優が野沢雅子さんなのも良かった😊ギルモンの時は可愛いのに進化すると悟空のようにかっこいい声になる。本当凄いですよね声優さんって😊
