      Perfect demonstration of why a home inspection is as valuable as Enron stock...no substance if a inspector doesn’t know the basics of what the equipment is how can they know if it’s working correctly if at all! Just assign it a random name and act as if your an expert in its fictional operation...FAIL!

    thats not a muffler its a filter on the outside unit. Great video though

    That's not a muffler, its a "Dryer" it keeps moisture out of the lines

    Great video. Not a big deal, but the warm air passing over the coils doesn’t absorb the cold, but it’s the opposite. The cold refrigerant in the coils absorbs heat from the air passing over the coils. Thermodynamics.

    Also didn't check system pressures, compressor amps, reversing valve operation/heat strips/furnace heat operation, filters and inspect duct condition/connections. You get what u pay for.

    • @vanillarain711
      @vanillarain711 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He's a home inspector, not an hvac technician. Home inspectors don't test all the items you've listed and they aren't required to. You are more than free to hire an hvac tech if you want to and don't mind spending the extra money.

    • @internachi

      You're confusing a home inspection with an HVAC system check by an HVAC technician.

    • @JA-vy1gp

      @@vanillarain711 that’s why u don’t trust an inspector and spend the money for a hvac maintenance or anything else

    • @GhostYT_lat
      @GhostYT_lat ปีที่แล้ว

      They paid for a visual function/safety inspection of the entire house not a thorough HVAV inspection. He's actually going beyond the SOP on a couple of items so they are getting more than their money's worth.

    Dryer filter, 18 to 20゚ split, This guy said multiple things incorrectly Not a very good Inspection didn't check the freon level didn't check the Coil if it's Dusy or clogged. Didn't open the panels and check the wire connections didn't check the capacitor Wire breaker terminals. Drain line could be partially Clogged.

    That's NOT a muffler outside by the condenser it's a liquid line dryer which is designed to absorb non-
    condensable's in the refrigerant.

    The guy that did yearly service on my AC poked a temperature probe in the ductwork above the air handler to check the temperature difference. Seemed like a good idea - but he never attempted to cover the hole so I just put a little duct tape over it.

    Hire an HVQC professional. Not a clown like this guy. Home inspectors are the mall cops of the real estate industry

    • @internachi
      @internachi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I disagree, Toros. It's expensive and impractical to hire a professional for each system of a house. It's best to hire a home inspector who can inspect all of the systems of a house in about 3 hours with an inspection report produced. I don't understand the comment about mall cops.

    • @vanillarain711

      Like a General Physician
      A Home inspector give U the best
      Visual Opinion. U can fix some issues without calling any Specialist. Like cleaning or Filter etc etc

    • @theholisticmachine1493
      @theholisticmachine1493 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Alot of us inspectors have an extensive background in electrical, HVAC, and building ....so paying 500 bucks to have a trained set of eyes is logical, and a specialist can be called in if a major issues is found. Not all issues warrant a call to a single profession.
