Edit: THANK YOU SO MUCH NOBBEL for stating that there's a ton left to release in Classic before a BC "re-release" should even be THOUGHT of. I have no idea WHY so many in the Classic community are so eager to hop into BC when they really just got into Classic not even a year ago, and I don't even play Classic. My friends that do play Classic all scream at me that it's way too soon for BC, and even though I'm a retail player, I very much agree with them.
Just imagine our characters landing there staring at all the dead turtles.....Gonna make them extra dead, send you to the realm after shadowlands.
People are hyped because some started in TBC. Like my best friend liked classic but ultimately she is waiting for TBC servers to come out.
I agree its way too soon for it to be released right now, but I don't think its too early to talk about it at all. Of course we want more legacy servers lol, kinda expected after the hype for classic, no?

One time my friend and I were at a Cold Stones in like 2012 or whatever and we saw a guy working there who looked just like you, but it wasn’t. The guy went back into the backroom and disappeared and my friend was like “he’s making sure he’s not getting killed on wow”. That’s a pointless memory but there you go.

I would love to see Mankriks wife, and more in Mankrik. ...Crendor you literally just said Mankriks Wife as i was typing this. EXCELLENT! I love how their story has been touched on in almost every expansion. The best was in WoD when they were children and their love story started. I would also like to see Agamaggan, the boar Wild God. And because Mankrik killed so many quillboar, maybe they could have some kind of interaction.
I can see cross factions not going into each others cities, but adventurers can delve into dungeons and such with whoever they want. So many instances of races from both factions working together

Nzoth isnt done I assume. A lot oh his and ilganoth whispers reference shadowlands and stuff beyond. So would seem weird for him not to know he was gona get killed.
He better come back. The Old Gods have been built up since the beginning of WoW and for them to be thrown away in an anticlimax ending while Sylvanas is still running around would be, probably the worst lore decision Blizzard had since the infinite timelines Legion.

I can see a strangers things version of the scourge invasion of quel thalas, focusing on the dreadlords and new shit likely. Throw in some troll business and allied high elves and you got a good .2-.3 setup right there.
Nobbel needs to watch the ceilings video. A lot of ceilings or skyboxes were really pretty. did we do top 10 floors yet?

i hope blizzard is taking sylvanas story to a sort of antihero role in a way that she took on the role of becoming this bad evil person in order to get the population of azeroth to band togather to fight and defeat this bigger evil in the persuit of herself

The Warcraft lore is something I have always been kind of passively experiencing because I don´t play WoW but it always has seemed very interesting to me. It is this huge world of lore and backstory that can be a bit hard to penetrate.

A big part of why its a bit impenetrable is because they keep retconing things.
Came for the lore, stayed for the tangential bants.

My problem with warlords, and I won't deny I was hyped at the beginning, is that the story doesn't make sense. What should have happened, all considering time travel is hard to write well, is that we should have had a no win scenario (by the end the orcs have to get corrupted and invade azeroth chronologically...because aren't we suppose to help mend the timeline not create the DC New 52?)
Always said that when it came to Dungeons/Raids and zones that feature open faction questing hubs there is no reason why players from opposite factions could play together.
I always wondered how it was ok for the alliance & horde LEADERS to collaborate, but not the players? It really doesn't make any sense.
Was Bronzebeard also helping horde players on their azurite-related stories? Shouldn't there have been another character, because the full-on war is/just raged across the azeroth, and any horde hotheaded guy would have loved to kill a prominent figure of the alliance?
He was. The problem and the reason why I hate characters like khadgar and magni is because of their bland personality and lack of realistic reaction to stuff happening around em. That's why I worry about bolvar being a replacement for them in shadowlands. I loved Magni and khadgar as complex characters before they took major part in game. Magni himself was hella racist towards dark irons and sexist towards his own daughter. He was also king of iron forge and had allies amongst the humans and even elves. To feel nothing about the burning of the tree. Let alone mention it... I dont care what hire calling you answer to you cant and shouldnt change that much and not care about those you have history with to not even mention it. It's just a stupid lazy filler character in that case.
No wonder Crendor is confused, its a mess...

Wow lore has been butchered esp after BFA. Blizz gives Sylvanas and Nathanos omega plot armor and butcher chars like Azshara and Nzoth. I appreciate smth new from SL. Hopefully they don't fk it up like the dumpster fire known as BFA.
The only issue I have with shadowlands is that dumpster fire sylvanas is still alive. I want her to be tortured in the maw for all eternity. She doesnt need to be redeemed. She needs to be axed asap. She cant be redeemed after wrathgate retcon, gilneas, arathi, teldrassil and even undercity.

After what bfa did I'm caring even more about the lore and where they will go from here. Especially when I have yet to a banshee queens head on a pyke in sw or orgrimmar. Then alliance and horde will fight over who gets to mount her on their walls and then her disembodied head will be put on trial in panda land.
