A roadmap for the Academy courses please! 🙏🏼 I know the certs have their related courses, I mean a path or paths (with optionals) through All the academy courses. Would that make sense? Either on their own
Hey TCM I’ve gotten into privacy and anonymity these past months I recently got into Osinting because of you thank you for posting this, within the year I’m also getting a cybersec internship, your videos help me learn and hopefully make me somewhat knowledgeable once I get in.
Hey Cyber Mentor, I think it's time for a new ethical hacking course for 2025! So much has changed since your 2023 video. It would be amazing if you could create an updated course with all the latest information and hands-on practicals. I'm really looking forward to it and following you closely. Please make this happen!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’ve been a viewer since before my IT career. Great content! I respectfully disagree with 1 thing though. The CCNA is 60% networking and 40% Cisco specific. So it’s definitely not just “making you a Cisco networking guy” It teaches you everything the Net+ does but to a deeper level. It’s the best bang for your buck in terms of knowledge and HR clout. I’ve worked at an ISP and two campuses before switching to security and I’ve yet to see anyone use ONLY Cisco. The knowledge transfers though. The net+ teaches you basic concepts of networking, the CCNA actually teaches networking to a useable level. I think your point holds better if it referencing the CCNP. The CCNA is like Net++ lol. Just a bit more and to a solid level. Easily recommend it to everyone over the Net+. The Net+ is just enough to be able to talk networking, not understand it.
I watched a lot of videos on how to become an ethical hacker, but this is the best video I have ever watched . Thank you so much for guiding and sharing all these great resources ❤
TCM is always on point, thank you for the fantastic work youre doing for this community. i'd really love to see you share about you Build (lab equipments); cost and recomendations.Yeah and your swag too. where can i get your glasses they really looked cool.
May I ask if I’m right that I could just complete the 16+ hours Practical Help Desk course and skip both the Comptia A+ and Network+ courses, and that my foundation will be good enough to continue for the Linux part (after finishing the Practical Help Desk course)? Thank you!🤩
Please i need answer to this question, how old does a course/resources/tutorial video have to be before i consider it to be outdated? I mean can I learn using a 2022/2023 material in 2024/2025 and still work, I mean still bypass systems?
Unless things have changed since the pandemic at least where I am anything that has anything remotely close to IT stuff requires the normal certs no matter where you work. Wild how the US doesnt care about pieces of paper as much as I thought they would
Whoa!! Thanks for including me as a recommended resource!!!!
You are very welcome!

It would be interesting if in your website you had a roadmap type of thing for the lessons. Great video by the way
We are working on more roadmaps like that!

Yeah the 22/23 content will definitely help you build a solid foundation and allow to bypass system on htb etc.
@chrisclark3229 thank you
well said
I was just starting your course in Udemy that I bought ages ago. Is it still worth doing or is it outdated?
Nice
Start at the bottom of the pyramid since there is no road map on your website?
Not just reading code is important, knowing what the lingo is for logs in a command line or networking jargon in a log file
Unless things have changed since the pandemic at least where I am anything that has anything remotely close to IT stuff requires the normal certs no matter where you work. Wild how the US doesnt care about pieces of paper as much as I thought they would
Can i use this roadmap in India to become an ethical hacker in 2025?
Absolutely! Be sure to check out the blog post as well.
