I finally got to watch Baywatch! I went in with zero expectations because I had seen some negative comments, but I really enjoyed it. Dwayne and Zac had great chemistry. The two of them always deliver. Also, I loved the jokes. The Caucasian one was one of my favorites. (“There’s no I in team, but there is me.” “Are you dyslexic?” “I’m Caucasian.”)
the movie was how to do modern edgy takes on rebooting older stuff. The issue is that it came at the end of when ppl got tired of it, and also at the start of when studios decided to go all in. It really fell through the cracks, I really wish I ignored reviews online cause of it.

I think the Rock definitely helped write the hazing scene. No matter what profession, alpha dogs enjoy hazing others and acting like a dick on trying to humiliate others. I'm glad Zach's character gave the Rock a friendly slap. And blew a kiss to his female companion. Scenes like that often indeed duplicate real life situations.

It wouldn't go well. There was a little hollywood magic involved in Zac's peg walk though so I want to see both unedited.

Some people really didn't understand the competition scene. First off, this is a COMEDY, not real life. Next, the course wasn't designed to prove you are a good lifeguard, it was made up by The Rock's character to humble Zac. Also Rock only won at chinups cause he made Zac lift tires and fridges first, and cause Zac did the ninja course
