When choosing an electric guitar body shape, be sure to pick one that will suit your playing style and needs. For example, if you always play guitar sitting down standard style, a flying V may not be the best choice. If you want to have an aggressive guitar but do like playing sitting down, an explorer style may be a better choice. A strat/superstrat style of guitar will suit any occasion. Every body shape has its advantages and drawbacks.

guy on the internet who liked guitars. Been looking for you my whole life dude.
Always thought we needed someone like that for us "casuals"
Keep up the content my guy.
Thank you! I'll do my best to keep making content for people like us!
@@HighZ wow this is so amazing well done my frend great job cool video
Flying V for me. All guitars are comfortable while standing, but while sitting, flying V is the most, if you hold your guitar in classical position.
It's the best body shape for sitting in that position for sure
Flying V shapes are great but the Rhoads specifically is my favorite. So long as the output jack is on the top wing
So it is. Don't hear to people who say Vees are only comfortable in standing position.
This is what I'm talking about. Electric guitars have so many beautiful shapes and if one has a collection, it's good to have a variety. I personally love to play in my Les Paul shaped guitars and love the aesthetic, as well as the comfort. But my metal heart has always loved Flying V guitars and I do dream of having one someday. Flying Vs just scream metal. Another shape I love is the Warlock shape of some BC Rich guitars like the one I have. Great video brotha
The flying V is a terrific and in many ways functional shape if you can get around it's shortcomings! And les paul style guitars are absolutely classic. I'll always fall into the tele camp of si gle cut styles but the les paul design is both classy and timeless. And I think we've all wanted a warlock at some point, they definitely have a certain appeal
Absolutely great comparison, my friend, - listened with a big pleasure !!❤🎸
Thank you very much!
I always loved that strat shape.
It's timeless! The perfect union of style and function
Excellent sharing, as always! 🙌😁 Have a pleasant week 🍷
Thank you and you too 🍻
I'm enjoying a lot this videos, good work man 👍🏻 I always liked the Explorer.
Thank you! The explorer is very cool! It has interesting features and you can still sit down with it
Thr style is amazing, I like your collections👍❤️
Thank you very much!
I know all of this already. But for new guitar-players, this is great. Background music is great as well. Parts reminds me of diablo tristram for some reason hehe. That mellow guitar.
Thanks, yeah this is definitely geared more towards beginners or even people who have never tried a certain body style. Glad you like the music too, I made it myself!
@@HighZ Yeah it's great man.
Awesome collection 😎 thanks for taking the time and sharing 👍
Thanks, happy to share and provide some information!
Always the ones without Turd-O-Matic bridge, the rest is a matter of getting used to. All shapes are beautiful😎
Hahaha yeah I'm not the biggest fan of the tune o matic either, this is my only guitar with one currently.
Love Vs, explorers and firebirds the most. Just really like when theres not much body between your arm and the strings
I really appreciate your content and delivery.
Subbed.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll continue to work on delivering organized and informative content
Great info.
I have a squier strat and small peavey amp given to be by my cousin. He's older, so I think of him as an uncle.
My other one is a Daisy with humbuckers. bought it because it is lighter weight and more comfortable to play standing.
don't play it right now, but it's nice to have in case I want to
Sounds like a fun setup. Always great to have options even if you're not playing it at the moment
Good guide ❤❤❤ thanks for sharing
Thank you, glad to share it!
Awesome video!
Well done dear friend!👌👌😉😉
Thanks
Awesome guide. I was looking to buy an explorer style guitar soon and that's a shape I have never tried. Thans for the insight. Keep it going!
Thanks, glad I could help!
Que hermosas guitarras amigo, great review, big like
Thank you and I'm glad you like them!
you literally gave ALL of the guitars I want lol. Where do you work, man?)
I guess working a day job and then making music and videos at night means there's no chance to spend money on anything else 😆
Strandberg type - probably I will buy prog nx 7 or original nx 8. It still looks kinda cool for a guitar designed to be as ergonomic and versatile as possible, I would say it looks modern, and also - weight is something incredible
There are a lot of benefits to those headless types of guitars. They personally don't appeal to me but I understand that they do have an audience, and if you like them that's great! I've never played one so I can't speak to them
@@HighZ When it comes to guitar designs, I also love Mayones Guitars and Skervesen Guitars. They are made in the city where I live, but I'm trying to make my whole gear as light as possible, also Strandbergs are cheaper and they have endurneck, which I really want to try, so that's why Strandberg wins to me.
That makes sense. I've never tried a mayones or a skerv but that's because they're so rare. Hopefully you can get your strandberg soon! Let us know how you like it
