    As an NSWER, for me, Bae is the vocalist that plays one of the most crucial role in NMIXX's harmonization. Her vocal ability to blend and harmonize seamlessly with the rest of the group's singers demonstrate her crucial importance in the overall vocal dynamics of the group.

      Bae is a really good and clean dancer too, if you would watch her fancams. She is one of my favorite dancers in the group because of how clean she dances, it makes her fancams so satisfying to watch!

    Some members have talked about how early they started to prepare for this comeback and the dates show that it was supposed to be an OT7 song, but since Jinni left they probably had to refilm a lot of stuff. That probably explains the big amount of plain white background scenes, but I still think they managed to make it look cool so it doesn't really bother me.

    • @rahjahknows
      @rahjahknows ปีที่แล้ว +69

      That makes sense, I noticed it pretty early on in the Young Dumb Stupid choreo with the unbalanced formations and gaps. On another topic of speculation, i also thought it was interesting they decided to do performance videos of these songs on the NMIXX channel instead of doing the usually scheduled Studio Choom video, maybe JYP got tired of Studio Choom taking all of those views.

    this song is insanely good. I say that as someone who's been listening to it every day and hasn't gotten even the slightest bit bored with it.
    the live stages make it even better, the adlibs sound incredible. I would really recommend their it's live and stage practice for it.
    Compared to O.O and Dice, (which I loved) I'd say LMLT is a lot easier on the brain at first listen, and more coherent. I definitely needed a few listen to get accustomed to the other two's sound but LMLT flows right into feeding my addiction

    the reason because most of the video scenes are on white background, it was because they needed to reshot the entire scenes where Jinni (ex-member who left the group) was still there, i heard they recorded the MV with her still in it, so in tight schedule they did that and i know it looks like a bit low budget MV but atleast it's not that bad and the song is fire so no complaint!

    I think JYP has been trying to create groups with staying power vs riding trends. Both Stray Kidz and NMixx do their own thing and have unique visions, even if you can't put your finger on it you know what they're about when you watch them. They are the type of polished but also unique group that creates a cult following (loona and dreamcatcher are other examples i can think of) despite not always riding the wave of whatever is trendiest right now, and that's what JYP wants in my opinion-- they want to create fandoms that last.
    I don't know if you've seen what the conversation around StayC has been like, but to me it feels like people were super into them and then when they tried a new thing (it wasn't even super new, still very much their sound??? but just different), people got mad and called them flops, and there are people already claiming that StayC has fallen off. StayC has way more obvious commercial success than NMixx does, but the fandom is different. That's what I think JYP was trying to do-- it's better monetarily for them in the long run to slow and steady build a very loyal and strong fandom, rather than to cash in on whatever is trending at the moment.

    • @MrSuperjam789
      @MrSuperjam789 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      The whole StayC conversation is so funny because they had one comeback that underperformed("Beautiful Monster") and some people were already writing them off. Then they released "Teddy Bear" and while it seems to have a lukewarm reaction internationally, it's doing very well in Korea.

    If you listen to the instrumental of the song, it sounds very minimal. Their voices carry this song so much. They rely on adlibs too instead of instrumentation which is phenomenal. Also, there's a part in the video where Lily's hair was much shorter. It is rumored that they already prepared for this during the Dice era where one member was still with them (5:06 part of this video, Lily's hair is shorter and there's an obvious gap where someone should have been there but was cut out of the video) and when that member left, they had to re-do the songs from the album, the choreo, and the music video which they already were in the middle of making. Don't quote me on this though.

    I wasn't a major fan of their music before but I really love this song. I think this concept fit some really well and I hope they stick with something like it. I didn't like O.O and I like dice, but wouldn't really listen to dice without watching the music video, but I would listen to this song just on its own. I'm really happy about it because I really love the girls I just hadn't been a big of a fan of the music, as I had hoped I would be.

    when i first listened to this song i was honestly disappointed that they didn't go for their usual "crazy mix-up that leaves everyone confused" route since i love both dice and o.o and this song felt very safe, as if another edgy girl group could've easily released it.. it didn't feel unique. but at the same time, i'm 1000% sure i would not have kept coming back to it if it were any other group that released it. sure, it might be ""safe"" considering their past title track's reputation but their unique vocal colors and rapping tones is what elevates the song from good to great
    as someone who strongly believes they're one of (if not the most) talented 4th gen k-pop gg on the scene, and who has been supporting them since debut, it genuinely really hurt seeing people downplay the entire group just because the music they put out was way too "different" and "weird". i'm glad this comeback has highlighted their strengths and finally given talent a full chance to shine. and the fact that they're stable live too.. they're outstanding!

      Yes, i dont know why people still sleep on this group when they are angry that so many group (especially Girls grup) just have visual and lack of talent. 😔

      This comeback has been amazing for the members it's getting them alot of attention (they are in top 10 melon/passed 750k album sales)and at least the members aren't getting bullied anymore i rather then not comeback with big switch up if the members will stay safe

    That's now my favorite NMIXX title. Initially I were disappointed with them leaving behind their mix pop style but when I overcame that I realized this song is SO GOOD 🎉
    The bridge is perfect, the topline at the beginning reminds me of Red Velvet's "ZOOM" bridge "bamsae Replay (replay)
    neoneun so loud (neoneun)
    nae gwitgareul maemdora" and the bridge on NMIXX's song goes "show me your way
    eoneu teume jaranan ikkeullim".
    Also the guitar on the chorus literally had me screaming it's amazing.

    Ah yes, loved O.O after the first listen (the coke ad is not that bad if you just listen to the song) and bought their album just to help them get a succesfull debut. Then I was floored by their stages and I really like them, they even made me like and sing along YoungDumbStupid after a few listens and here they have a chorus which lyricwise consists only of repeating the same 4 words, which destroys most songs for me, but here I don't mind. The instrumenta is very good. Also I love I can buy their music digital, I wish I could for all groups.
    Btw, they got their first win with this. (:

    I can somewhat feel what PD felt about NMIXX--JYPE trying a "Stray Kids approach" to NMIXX. And as a STAY, I'm actually not mad about it, because if there is any group that has that talent level and that certain "charm" that SKZ have, imo its IDLE and NMIXX. When they released "DICE" and "Cool", I fell in love immediately like how I fell in love to SKZ in a snap lol.
