It's a good idea to switch fuel tanks before you do the run up checks to make sure there's no blockage in the fuel system from the tank that you will be doing your takeoff on.
I trained in a Cherokee and owned a 1971. I must say that A2A nailed this aircraft. Would love to have a updated model b/c of the panel Piper went to around 1969. Just found your cannel and have enjoyed. Thanks!
Garry Wan and there lies the difference in Lycoming fuel injected vs carburetor engines. Also, Continental Fuel injected call for full rich before starting as well. Carbs and Fuel injected are different fuel delivery systems, and the fuel injected systems differ between lycoming and Continental.
Brandon Darnell yep some have a different impulse coupling I think it’s called and works best on starting on the left mag. But not every Cherokee is like that.

Glad you're enjoying it! Yea, A2A is simply amazing. I'm training in a '69 180HP Arrow and I love seeing all the similarities.
Make sure that when you start to taxi, add the power a little bit and then pull the power back and test the brakes. Do a brakes test
I like A2A's version of this plane, it's what I trained in to get my private certificate
I thought you were suppose to enrich the fuel mixture during engine start not prior engine start? XD, at least that is the instruction Cessna gives

Which flight sim software is this? Looks better than MFSX
