Thanks Nick I’ve been trying to do exactly what you showed us today this has been a great help I’ll be putting those 3 tunes together. So more please Nick that was brilliant. Regards Norm
Great lesson, Nick. I would love another video with some guidelines on how to choose tunes to make up sets. Should they all be the same type of tune (e.g. polkas), or can you mix them up, like a jig then a reel, etc? Mix up keys? What about having to change harps from one tune to another? Endless questions… sorry!
This is one of the lessons I teach in my course Irish Harmonica Breakthrough. Yes there's a bit to it. Maybe send me an email nick at harmonica for the soul dot com
I play them on the D harmonica to stay in the keys they were written in but you can play these on any key harmonica. Or build your collection and get a D. If you're playing fiddle tunes you'll be using G and D harmonicas a lot.
You're a very talented musician, Nick! Thanks for all you do.
Thank you :-)
Excellent 👌 THANK YOU 🌟😀👍
