Dimash is like a one- man choir. I don’t think a song exists he can’t sing perfectly. No wonder composer Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs only he can sing. He must be an alien because no human should be able to sing like that. 😱🤯🔥
A bit more info for you: At the age of 5, Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year.
Everyone calls him an alien, I guess it means that his voice is out of this world, but, it came from years of hard work and dedication. In an interview, he said that since he was two he knew all he ever wanted to do is sing. His grandparents found that he had perfect pitch at the age of three, and he began his music studies, as well as academics, at five. Even with all of his accomplishments and earning his Ph.D., in music composition, he still does vocal training for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. He is also very intelligent, has a brilliant mind for business, founded charities, and loves his country, family, and his " Dears", which is how he refers to his fans....around the world.

They are friends and have a father-son relationship.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. He performs in 18 languages. He was trained classically and contemporary. Started at age 5th pitch perfect so that when he went to practice he told his teacher the piano was out lf tune. Btw His mother is a opera singer and his father is a contemporary singer/songwriter.
Dimash isn't thinking he's the man. Hes happy when he feels he sang well. He is his own worst critic. But when he opens his arms to the audience, he is embracing them with endearment and gratitude. Not touting himself as many people misunderstand. Pointing up...he's thanking God. Not ranking himself No 1.

He's written 5 new songs himself since he's been in LA focusing on Jazz and Blues.
His vocal registers are unparalleled. His ability to sing the same note in full chest, rock belt, etc, etc. is mind-blowing. The vocal control to hold a belt like that last note and not falter is astounding. What amazes me when he does that is that at the end of the long hold, he pushes off on the note like he had plenty of air to keep going.

How does he do it? You said it in the beginning. He's been singing since he was 5 years old so not 23, but 24 years of training. Swimming under water, running, taekwondo, horseriding, football ⚽ etc. He sings with all the muscles in his body. Look at his movements, legs and arms. 😊 By the way, you have very pretty eyes. 😉

The man on the piano, Igor Krutoy, not only wrote the music for this song, he's actually one of the founders of the competition show. Dimash is definitely vocal king.

No, he speaks just two languages fluently. He speaks English and is learning more and more every day and some words Mandarin. He sings in about 15 languages. Armenian is added last week on his concert in Armenian. You really have to hear it some day.
He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that.
The kobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter.
He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds.
Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship.

Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. He doesn't speak more than maybe 3 languages, Russian, Kasakh, English (Deenglish as we Dears say) and a bit mandarin (Chinese). But sings in maybe 15 languages. It's easy to learn a song in another language in about a day or two or a week. People like to overdo a bit. This is composed by Igor Krutoy, the bald man at the piano (multiple Grammy award vinner) especially for Dimashes voice. Igor Krutoy have also composed songs for Lara Fabian. But the rest you said is thrue. He is training alot and sings 3-4 hours every day and before concerts he train his voice for 10 hours. He held the ending note for 23 seconds. Sinful Passion by Dimash please. Dimash only sings in multiple languages. He is fluent in speaking only Kazakh, and Russian but English is quickly becoming his third language. In 2017 he did not speak a lot of English. Now he speaks easily. He did a sold out concert in New York in 2017. I flew from Texas to see him live and it was absolutely incredible. The entire concert is on his channel, as is a few other concerts. You will be happy to know he is extremely down to earth and very humble and appreciative. He does also a cover of All By Myself. There are several versions, one in New York, one on Singer 2017, Bastau etc. He very much enjoyed Michael Jackson's music, so you will also see that influence in songs like Be With Me, ( in English with Kazakh Rap, yes he can do that also), Give Me Your Love (English) and Zhalyn ( In Kazakh but my favorite).
His goal is to promote world peace through his music. Dimash has worked hard since the age of 5 to improve his voice and is currently writing his dissertation for a PhD in Musicology.

I love that he, just like Zhou Shen, choose to sing what he want, not getting stucked into just one genre. If you are able to sing like him you can do them all! I also like the theatrical way to perform, it is a nice contribution to all videos where everyone dances the same or just stand still. Quick clarification...he is fluent in Kazak and Russian and conversational English. He sings in 13 languages but phonetically only He was learning Chinese before the pandemic but is not proficiant or even conversationsal.
