Great vid! I concur on that last point big time. As soon as I finally started driving on Hard / Expert my driving got so much better. The assists hindered my progression so much. The sooner you get those off, you may be "baptized by fire" so to speak and have wrecks for sure, but its worth it if you want to learn how to really control your racecar.
I just transitioned from dirt to trucks and I’m having such a hard time in the corners at pocono (hot seating) I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I’m overshooting the turn every time even tho I come in high. When I hit the corners at lower speeds I get into them better but I get passed every time
It comes to upgrading your car, setups, and how well you place to earn that money so you can upgrade. I usually start out at the easiest mode and the more I improve the car, the higher the difficulty gets
If you are running a custom setup then you want to adjust your steering offset. If you are not running a setup then you need to adjust your controller settings (go down on steering sensitivity) and always turn off any controller help, you want to run no game help and a custom setup to have any real speed. My homestead fast lap is 30.998
Idk if it’s just me but the game is easy I race on legend difficulty to, like no matter the track I’m at the front but everyone else says it’s super hard to keep up with the cars in front.
The setups save per track you do the setup for, if you create a setup for Talladega its only going to apply to Talledega you must also make sure the lobby you join/create allows custom setups
If you are attempting to correct someone be sure 'you' understand the terminology - before - hitting the keyboard: "In basic terms, the apex or clipping point is the point on the inside portion of a corner that a vehicle passes closest to. The apex can also be described as the point of minimum radius and slowest speed achieved in a corner." Apex describes a specific point of a turn: it has absolutely nothing to do with 'leaning in'.
The first two tips is called opening the corner up ...by doing this you are making the corner as straight as it can be and corner speed as fast too.
Literally found this the day after I figured out to hug the wall on the straights.
Your videos are super good. Thanks for the tips!

I draft and drive close to the wall but still cannot gain on the vehicles ahead. Career mode is too frustrating how do I make my cars more competitive

@@Goldblasterblaze how do you improve your car? I just got the game and am playing career on beginner and don't see it.
You have to own a team to upgrade your car.

Tight to go mid high loose to get down low
Help having hard time getting a custom setup for online racing .. I did the practice test and saved it and don't transfer to online racing

Still having the same thing can't figure it out.
You need to press triangle multiple times to save the setup, this game is fidgety.
When you lean into your turn, its called an Apex.
Well, no. Apex IS a racing word so I'll give you credit for that.
