Up to you what you wanna do. Electrical has more sidework opportunities and is a more practical skill in my opinion. I don't know what HVAC guys make money wise. Not sure what you mean by work. Hope this helps.
HVAC is the modern handyman, they are supposed to be able to do everything that is involved in installing their systems (from some finish carpentry to electric wiring) but it all depends on what outfits you get fit with. Just excel in what you do and the pay will be comparable.

Not a problem, I upload new work videos every week day :)
How much do you make a year if you don’t mind me asking?
$70k-80k depending on overtime or not
Do you use any equations they teach u in school? Cuz they have me bored outta my mind
i haven't, depends what you're doing specifically but mostly not at all.
How difficult is it to become an electrician and what education do you need? I really think I might want to do this
i dont know, im not an engineer...
Lol you know what I mean, engineer haha
... I don't know what you mean if you say it wrong or don't understand what my job is. 🤷🏻♂️
@@DailyElectrician i swear I keep typing electrician idk why it’s autocorrecting to engineer
Oof
Do these things you have to buy come at your expense? Is that normal?
no you don't buy things with your own money, i had a company credit card. if you have to use your own money you get reimbursed, but you can always say no.
@@DailyElectrician Ok, I was gonna say lol
haha
Thanks for sharing bro looks interesting I’m highly considering this trade but I will do more research on it first
no problem, thanks for watching :)
Iam lndian electrician that me helps that any country
Hi, I have a question, what type electrician are you? For example industrial , maintenance. And how many hours do you work nomally?
Commercial electrcian basically, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week
@@DailyElectrician Thanks apptrciate.
do you own an electrical company? Or do you work for one?
i work for one
Hello Sir thanks for video
I have one question
I'm trying to go to trade school but can't decide which one is better to start HAVAC or Electrician?
How about the pay scale and work etc?
Thank you
Up to you what you wanna do. Electrical has more sidework opportunities and is a more practical skill in my opinion. I don't know what HVAC guys make money wise. Not sure what you mean by work. Hope this helps.
Go hvac they do electric and more. it is higher skill typically
@@asymptoticsingularity9281 how much havac pay in start in Florida?
@@DailyElectrician you're right too thanks i heard electrician pay more than havac also electrician works in different fields right
HVAC is the modern handyman, they are supposed to be able to do everything that is involved in installing their systems (from some finish carpentry to electric wiring) but it all depends on what outfits you get fit with. Just excel in what you do and the pay will be comparable.
Helpful videos for studying vocational English vocabulary and terms. Thank you !
:)
i wasn't expecting that lil wyte
lol
3:59 I thought that was sticking out of the ceiling
Motivation
God bless (sneeze)! Okay, I didn't know I needed to have my sawsall, thanks.
Happy to help
Are you unionized electrician? Or working for private company?
non union, im not sure what a private company means but its a company thats non union
TheCorvetteKid Thanks. That’s what I meant. I was wondering because I’m on the waitlist for inside wire apprenticeship program and things going pretty crazy for union apprenticeship right now.
what do you mean crazy? so you're going union or not?
TheCorvetteKid I’m still going for Union. But there are not many spots are opening at this moment. However, there are 2000 applicants and growing by 300 every month and 800 on the waitlist. So basically waitlist is still growing and lots of people bumping down even though they did pretty good on the interview.
So everyone knows this is not what every electricians day looks like , that’s a very very easy day right there I would kill for my days to be like that
maybe everyone doesn't know
TheBig Nig very true . Union is the way to go unless you plan on owning your own business , then you can make a pretty penny in resi or commercial
I’m going to college to wrestle then going right into IBEW apprentice can’t wait been wanting to do it since I was a kid already be leading on the sode
7:38 Taco Bell Blow Out Time.
hahaha
Great video man
Thanks!
Do you have to pay with your own money? Or do the companies pay for ut
Company card probably
the parts i bought? most companies have an account with the electrical supply stores so i never have to pay for anything. this company at the time gave me a company credit card for gas and such.
Nice video man! You should use your electrician skills/knowledge and make tutorials for aspiring electricians
Thank you, I have made a few but I will make more when I build a house! :)
Nice man! that would be a good time to make some videos. But even tutorials of wiring at a smaller scale would be nice
I'll keep that in mind, thank you :)
I mean $112 for a box does sound ridiculous; but wait until they see the labor cost. Especially when we charge by the hour and are filming a TH-cam video.
Do another video!!
i cant unless i wanna get fired :/
Can I ask how’s the money? Is it worth it ?
th-cam.com/video/FwjlEgIxhcY/w-d-xo.html
depends what you consider "worth it" check out my video on my 2019 earnings and you tell me :)
TheCorvetteKid thank you 🙏 tomorrow I’m going to a trade school for a tour hopefully enrolling
nice! keep me posted :) hope everything goes well!
i am starting soon any tips??
yeah, check out my apprentice tip playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLKhuBV09A_XZQMxC2OQwRRxRZMus1SHry.html
Loved the video man, curious if you think pursuing electrical at 23 is viable? I need to get my ged and then I assume take a lot of classes before I could start correct? Thank you!
people start at 50-60 lol... you dont need to take any classes just get into an apprentiship. welcome :)
TheCorvetteKid you the man, and go to sleep it’s 3am here
:) thanks
Hey man how old were you when you first started are you a journeyman or are you still under someone also what was the exams like im new to the field
I was 20. I'm a Journeyman now. The exam wasn't easy (because my school didn't teach everything on the test) and I didn't study too hard, but I passed on my 3rd attempt.
Thanks man im 26 now you know anyone else who started around that time can it be done
Yeah definitely, I know a guy who started at 45, and another guy in his 50s/60s lol.
Lol why bother i mean im having a hard time understanding time and all that
lol
Great Job man
Thank you!
Did you just lock out a breaker with face tape?
no
Im just asking, safety first.

Lmao...?"ilove. Werking...🏃🏃🏃💥
lol
I’m strongly considering becoming an electrician so I’m gonna sub and start watching a lot of your vids
Pan head screws is what you should be using.
Jesus, this looks like rocket science to me. How long does it take to feel confident you can do this project?
Just depends how often you repeat the things you want to do. How quickly you can remember and repeat tasks. Could be days, weeks, months, years, etc.
@@DailyElectrician well tomorrow is my first day as an apprentice. Hopefully I turn out like you.
oh dang congrats! i hope it goes well! :) oh gosh, lol. you can be better :)
@@TheCoffeeNut711 How is it going so far. Do you feel more comfortable with what you're doing?
@@caleb2402 Yeah, the only thing that is hard is being around my coworkers who have done this for years. You feel so small. Other than that, its not scary
How do you compare this with carpentry
completely different but still construction, anything in specific you wanna know?
How come u had to buy the boxes?
I didn't personally buy them, I bought them through my company. Either with our company account at the store, or my company credit card. Needed them for the job that day.
This is way way softer work than being an electrician here in the philippines, and on top of that the salary is way lower.
sorry to hear that ;(
How much do you make per day
around $300
TheCorvetteKid damn, that’s a lot of money
🤷🏻♂️
I'm doing a pre apprenticeship course did U do this and if so did it help much ?
i did not. i dont know if they help or not, or help you get a job or not.
This was great
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Just curious how tall are you bro
like 6'
Are you union or nonunion?
non union
@@DailyElectrician What do you plan on doing now that you aren't doing electrical work?
I am still doing electrical work...
@@DailyElectrician I thought on your other video you said you weren't going to be an electrician anymore?
it was sorta a joke cuz of someones comment, i was basically trolling them
Are you a journeyman?
yeah
Awesome snappage !
Thanks man! :D
Great video. Thanks for the info.
I had a hard time hearing you over the music though!
I'm sorry about that! Thanks for the feedback :)
