@@astroman123-n3dYeah dude one smashed through my wall and dug into the roof the other day. He's still there I think but I can hear him vibing whenever I throw this song on
This is a really nice contrast to MOTI's take, Nosk's voice has been smooth/deceptive and monstrous/rough, the only other voice that could be done is the same voice all eldritch horrors need, the distorted multilayered voice of a small child.
This is INSANELY good I love the other voices mixing with his as he uses them as his masks and/or puppets, and the insanity portrayed is SO GOOD this is now added to my music playlist, thank you for this BANGER of a song!!
I love this different take on Nosk! Sure, imo, I found MOTI's version more catchy but I really like how at 1:12 Nosk mentions that Ghost is a vessel without any loved ones to imitate. So it simply preys on Ghost's curiosity in exploring.
@evagarcia865The more powerful versions of bosses are supposed to be what they were like at their peak, so it's also possible that this is just the form it took to lure someone else in - such as one of the stalking devout strung up in its lair. But ultimately, like most things in this game, it's up to interpretation.
I like to think that Nosk isn't part of the weavers, instead, he is an animal that inhabits Deepnest and the weavers couldn't take down Nosk as seen with the Stalking Devout and several Dirt carvers in his lair.
Guys i think Nosk's potantiel as boss is wasted. I mean, when we get it to inder a spesific health there could add a chase. And a harder phase 2 with attacks that a bit differnet.
Hmm... that was a little difficult to listen to due to the voice, however I quite like the inclusion of other voices mixed in with the main one. That is very Nosk. Well-written lyrics, befitting of its nature. My only dislike is the voice is a little too harsh and unclear.
If you're asking about its lore, it's a beast that pries into your memories and shapeshifts into the form of someone you love to lure you to its lair and eat you.
I'm sorry MOTI, but THIS is Nosk, a predator that mimics every aspect of it's prey's loved ones, INCLUDING the voice, so not having Nosk's voice distorted and multilayered in any way would be disappointing.
Is there any evidence it mimics voices too? The Hunter's Journal only says it mimics the shape. I suppose "pluck at the strings of your heart" could be interpreted as using speech, but I think it could do that just fine with physical mimicry.
@@JoeThomas-lu6fy Good question. The other corpses we find all indicate they were fooled by Nosk's trickery, and they are creatures with voices, but I can't recall any that confirm Nosk spoke to them, so hard to say. It would definitely be thematically appropriate if Nosk can mimic voices though.
@@JoeThomas-lu6fy I'm not sure if I think nosk perfectly mimics voices, if deepnest makes them crazy enough to hear voices on their own, or if nosk silently stays barely in sight while running/walking just as a way make sure you're following...
Really torn between making a “Giant Enemy Spider” joke or making a “THE MIMICCCCCC” joke
THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDEEEEEEEER!
the giant enemy mimic
As an Australian, I've seen at least 5 crawlies that look just like this in the last week alone
Do any act like Nosk's lore?

Just like how I've thought on how to combine existing nosk song to make the perfect nosk song
No way we got two banger Nosk covers in the span of a week, I love Nosk's voice especially and how it changes/has multiple layers!
This is INSANELY good

Ever since MOTI's nosk song I've been weirdly obsessed and fixated on nosk and im making a 2 stage nosk fakemon
Same. The obsession of nosk. Not the fakemon
My favorite of all, I have no idea why this one particulary gets me so much but I just love it.
Same...
WAIT ISNT NOSK TRYING TO LURE IN PREY!?!?
So creepy, I LOVE Nosk's voice. Or, rather, voices. They're all individually creepy but put together they bring it to a whole new level!
Nosk's stamp of approval: 👍
I love this different take on Nosk!

Though it mimics Hornet in Godhome, which implies that to some extent Ghost cares for her now
That's what I'm saying! I love it so much!

Ya know, When i see this picture of nosk im just now realizing
Damn the Ghost has seen some sh*t
Now after this Nosk and the MOTI i feels like a quarter of the comments is debating which is better
LOVE NOSK! LOVE IT! TERRIFIED OF IT, BUT LOVE IT!
I like to think that Nosk isn't part of the weavers, instead, he is an animal that inhabits Deepnest and the weavers couldn't take down Nosk as seen with the Stalking Devout and several Dirt carvers in his lair.
aw shit, here come the pointless arguments over which cover version of this song is superior😭
I'm assuming you the the muses mire vs MOTI
Personally like both(plus another one or two I heard) for different reasons
I would say this one if you want a lore accurate take on Nosk. But is you want a better sounding one, then MOTI.
I love no he has multiple voices to represent that he mimics people
This is how I imagined Nosk song
Guys i think Nosk's potantiel as boss is wasted. I mean, when we get it to inder a spesific health there could add a chase. And a harder phase 2 with attacks that a bit differnet.
Now when are we gonna do winged nosk
I like how this version feels more like the original track then the MOTI version. Like you are spiralling or getting chased

Just curious what does Nosk represent in game?
What do you mean?
