I stopped dying the day my dad took me to an AA Spiritual Breakfast in Olympia Wa. July 5, 1985. When I heard the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions it was what I was looking for all my life. I was 45 years old then. Dad died sober10 years later.
My son was incarcerated 10 years later due to 3 DWI's . . . and yet I and a million other 12 Steppers stay alive, peaceful, useful, greatful and sober !
My life has just begun due to the God of all Creation and the 12 Steps I take with His Power and Grace.
Life begind each morning. And the best is yet to come because today is all we've got !
