Hi mark just want to let you no the cdi unit worked a treat I did change the coil as well but put them both on a it started and ran sweet as a nut so just wanted to say thank you for your help
oh that's odd and will be a earth problem, looks like you will be needing some wd40 on the connectors under the front panel also check main earth and battery, as for the cutting out it could be linked, as normally it's your idle jet. mark
OK will try that in morning check plug again in day or two asked my local dealer and they said there's two belts for early and late models so bought both a gater 20405 and a Peugeot mtc 11 740 820 00 both was only fitting front well and was halfway in rear pully so tried a srcv 18.5 814 fitted lovely at rear but was half way up front so fitted the old stretched belt as I knew that fitted but was loose not much tension

I’ve got a speed fight 2 50cc LC, I was on the way back from college when the oil light came on a solid colour and the bike cut out, the bike is always full of oil and the pump is working. I’m starting to think it may be the emobiliser or something like it but I’m really struggling as I re-bled the system of the two stroke system and every time it starts and revs for a minute the light comes on and cuts out so I am really confused.
yes you are right they have this problem with the CDI where the immobiliser cuts in or it forgets the memory first you will need to take lots of panels off to get to the CDI under the front lower foot plate sometimes you can get away you taking it off and wd40 the connectors as your in intermitting but failing it is and you will need a bypass unit like in my videos, they will help as there is 70 on speedfights
I've got a speedfight 2 50cc been told 70cc with a leo vince exhaust with a 17.5 carb and 74 jet with a standard air box and it just bogs won't go over 10mph
check the head it will have the cc on it !, exhaust is fine , carb ! is it a speedfight carb? best if not to get one and a 74 jet is big best start off with 60odd , check needle is straight ? go for air box but what filter is in it may just need a wash1 check plug bud as well a new one can't go a miss and can other help but with all this more than norm its the carb but also check rollers but as in my other videos. hope that helps mate and please like the videos that help .mark
Hey Mark, I've got a speedfight 2 I've got spark And compression ( just had rebuild) It's getting fuel but not enough... The plug is very dry And the bike is not firing.. It turns over but won't fire... Any ideas what it could be? Thanks
hi so you just finished a rebuild as in total new crank and so on or just top end piston?. AC or LC? did you replace oil/crank seals? . have you tried easystart in the carb as in my other videos to get it going? this can help get the petrol in the pot by getting the engine going first. what was wrong with the bike in the first place was it running if so what stopped it. sorry bud there's loads of thing it can be but all linked to why you did an engine rebuild and what you did? . watch a few more of my other videos there are 50 all should help but it comes down to. a few main things. hope that help and please like share and subscribe. mark
Is the speedfight 1 rear side panels the same as the speedfight 2 I've I've baught a replacement speedfight 1 rear tail light but I think the rear side panels are different ?
the mk1 from panel and headlight and rear panel and tail lights are different and mk2 will fit but you have to replace the light as well all other parts are the same give or take the wiring loom and connectors
Hello mark I've spoken to you before mate and you've helped being a great help in me successfully fixing and selling speedfights, I was just wondering I've just baught a mk1 speedfight and the front headlight is shockingly bad compared to the speedfight 2 headlights can you just straight swap them over ? Same wires , connector block etc cheers
hi bud the mk1 head lights are bad, the can replace the light and panel easy just plug and play the light unit it's self can go in the mk1 panel but it is a tight fit and a bit of pushing in but can be done the other bolts fit fine good to hear my videos help share them bud that's all I ask and like and sub

thank you it tops out at 50 I've changed exhaust to a gianelli sprint up jetted left air box standard sounds awful open power filter put slightly lighter rollers in for take off but on std rollers still tops out at 50 racked my brains out trying to get it past 50 what's the air screw settings I was told 2 half tried that can't get plug to nice coffee colour it's black tried at 1 half out gone from there any info much appreciated
Shane Byrne 3 half turns out and see how it runs then either out or in to see how it runs better , 50 oh my 50cc do that, Maybe leave off the second air pipe just leave the main bit on the carb , use 4 and 8s much better bud
alright mark. ive watched all of your videos to do with peugeot speedfighters and this problem i have is still happening, when i press the staetor motor it just makes a screaming noise then after a bit it will start. if you have any ideas can u let me know many thanks sean
No it turns over fine and the red light flashes like it always has. It was just strange how it was starting and running fine cleaned carb changed filter and plug and now it turns over but won’t fire up. It’s got the immobilised model so I’ve ordered a coil with new plug and cdi unit or whatever it’s called😂. It definitely got no spark now tho watched loads of your videos and followed your advice but just wanted to ask if you thought it could be anything else? Cheers for getting back much appreciated 👍
Lovely vid as always Mark! I have this old scooter from around 2000. I switched plug and coil, cleaned the carb and petrol system and finally got it running again after 15 years of just sitting around. I then turned it of to put seat and some plastics on and after that it hasn't started again, do you have any idea of what it could be?
ha ha i been there so many times , then it all panels off and start again bud . you may have even popped off a wire or lead . slowly see if it kick over to see if it still free and the piston is ok , see if the petrol is getting in ok and is my other videos bud they should help with carb and piston, spark and so on. and thanks for watching my videos mate hope they help

can you do a video of a wiring loom change on a peugeot speedfight 2 the wiring with the grey / silver cdi 8 pins please as theres no videos i can find of all the connections to make it run thank you
changing the wiring loom is a lot more harder than you think as the engine stator can be different, lights and power connectors too, not alone with the cdi ! try and get the same loom or just replace the part of the wiring you need to do it I have 70 videos on speedfight on my channel and loads with them just down to the frame and wring so give them a watch type in mark savage speedfight and sit and watch bud
how should a drive belt correctly fitted look like on a sf 2 100 cc 52 reg tried few belts either too small or too big tried original Peugeot belt for year still small fits 1inch in rear pully
that sounds odd you are looking for the 100cc as the 50cc are smaller due to the variator being bigger on the 100cc, it should be tight but not pulling open either side? I have had the same with the 100cc maybe check on line or from a Peugeot dealer for the right size, I would tell you but im not at home and have not got the manual to hand, could try e bay bud, , or put it back on bud and give it a go down the road if it hit 65 odd it's fine . hope that helps bud

Just noticed mark when the ignition is of it flashes when I turn the key the light stays red for 2 seconds then of and don’t come back on. I’ve just went though everything and tried kicking it over and nothing would you say it’s still the Cdi unit?

Hi mark I’ve just bought my son a Peugeot speedflight 2. I done a little service on it yesterday carb clean air filter just basic stuff. When I bought it it ran fine after putting everything back on it now clicks over but won’t start. I’ve noticed after taking the plug out and putting it up against metal there don’t seem to be a spark. Find it strange as everything I done except change the plug was nothing to do with the coil or anything like that. I’ve put the old plug in and still no spark. I’ve ordered a new coil and cdi unit of eBay the cdi unit was a bybass one. Is there anything else you could think it is. I’ve not fitted the new parts yet as only just ordered them but just didn’t no if there could be anything else. Cheers love the Chanel 👍
So it ran fine you just cleaned carb and it only clicked like in my electric starter video Just a click so could be the starter? Does it kick over ? Or are you saying now it turns over but wont start and now no spark ??
Check power with a volt meter from the stator coil Then to the cdi Take it your is a immobiliser one Is the red light flashing or starting on Do you have power coming out of the cdi to the ht coli I have over 70 speedfight videos that will help just type in speedfight mark savage and put on the kettle and watch as I cover everything on these videos
it will still kick over and as long as it has a battery connected the lights will work if the battery is off it wont like running and the light will be very dim make sure the leads are not touching or you will damage the stator coil
Hi Mark I have a 2010 speedfight 3 lc which has a Acuman cat 3 alarm / imobiliser; it was running fine until one day it just stopped and would not start. I checked for a spark (seems ok) checked fuel and changed the fuel pump, cleanout the fuel tank and still will not start? Thought it may be the CDI ? But it seems the CDI is the Acuman alarm ? When I ask about a bypass I am told that you cannot fit a bypass to this model. Any ideas
John Smith as in my videos and there’s over 70 The sp3 hates me and I hated them They suffer from weak spark and electrical problems If you say you have spark ? Is it a good blue colour If so it’s not the cdi ?
hi Mark Shane again do you know what the settings are for a sf 2 100 reed block what's the gap between stopper to block I've opened mine to max to try see if can set off better but it just bogs down I don't know what factory settings are can't find anything any where please help thanks
Shane Byrne I've done a video bud , but the reeds should be closed mate not open or loose !! They should fit nice and tight with no light to been seen when you hold them up , check out my video on bogging down for a check list , hope that helps bud , mark
you wont bud the newer the moped / bike the more restricted they are, try a off the market exhaust and different rollers or pop it into a garage to see if they can do it
they used a few bud, id take it off first to check before buying one, I have many other speedfight videos bud that will help and about 10 on sp3 give them a watch they will help you
Mark does scooter needs connected battery to work?When I remove battery from my sf I can't start it on kick,otherwise i can.But I have immobiliser maybe it can't read code without battery?Please answer to know do I have problem or no :D
you should have a battery on your bike when running, when you kick it over you only get a few volts to start it so could cause it not to power up the immob, but really best to have a battery and this is normal so no problem with your bike, plus you lights and so on wont work properly.. please like the videos that help and share. mark
Hi mate I have an 05 speedfight 100, it runs absalutley mint untill it warms up then it just cuts out, it will start straight back up but then it will be sluggish on power, but once it's cold it runs mint again, don't suppose you have any answers?
what air filter are you running , when cold its on choke it has less air so i'd be looking at jet dub so go down by 4 , it could also be carb air mix once set up right , bad it maybe stator coil going to earth once warm !
Hi Mark, I've a jet force 50 tsdi, while the engine was running I turned the key to open the seat and the bike cut out and wouldn't restart initially. I got it going eventually and got home. Now it won't start at all unless I turn the key very slowly I will get a contact and can start it then. When I let go of the key though it cuts out. I'm told it's a problem with the ignition. Do I need to replace the CSI?
hi bud I have had this before , 1st try the easy way spray a maintenance spray / wd40 down and around the lock a bit more take the back of the lock off and clean and wd40 that if still no good bud then yes replace it but worth a go bud first hope that helps, please like and sub mark

To be honest I've changed a few and some bypass cdis and been OK and others have never ran right!! It would help having a look at you stator coil Its easy and I have videos on how to do it And worth a look at your power regulator
yes oil cdi ive changed the cdi /wiring /stator /piston / ht lead /spark plug yes still not firing up what shell i do to the bike shell i scrap it or what
Ok like in my videos You have spark so electrics ok good blue spark at plug Then cdi and stator ok Plug getting wet Did you do the wet hand test ? This will check the crank / oil seals Checked piston ? As in my videos
Hi Mark. Wondering if you could assist me? Trying to fix my friends looxor 100. It has no spark. It was running rough and died mid journey. So I had a look at it. Cleaned carb, new air filter foam, checked plug..no spark. Changed plug, changed coil, changed cdi unit (wasn't original - previous owner changed it along with ignition barrel) I bought a bypass unit from eBay. Still no spark. Changed relay, charged battery checked loom for breakages - still no spark! Starter motor turns engine fine.. Just no spark. Haven't checked stator because I've never done one. Battery had charge though so will it even be that? Front lights won't go on with ignition on (is that normal?) However indicators and brake light, and horn all work. Do you have any advice?Thanks
hi bud ok use a volt meter on the stator coil and see if that putting out any volts as this could be the problem if its not putting out any power then the rest of the system would not work i have also had a cheap bypass unit that was faulty so you may need to check if you have power going to it if any is coming out too see how you get on .mark
I'll have a go. I can't tell which cables coming out of the cdi should have power, there isn't any coming out on the green wire that goes into the stater relay. I only have a cheap volt reader but it did show some current coming out of 2 of the 3 wires coming out from the stator. Perhaps the cdi unit is dodgy. I'll return it and try another.
connent the volt earth to the battey earth . them try the other wires coming from the stator , greaan is earth by the way turn the bike over to see if you have a current coming out to the cdi then if so coming out from the cdi. so could be the cdsi or stator, i'd take the stator out and have a look before paying out any more money, i have a video on the stator and how to get it out so maybe havbe a watch of that mark
Hi mark my speed fight won't rev properly, constant bogging so I bought a new carb thinking that was the problem but it's still bogging and not even moving. Any tips?
it is a speedfight carb or the cheap ones of e bay as they can also not run right , you may need to look at spark plug /ht lead coil . whats your air filter like and is it a speedfight one. the needle in the carb. air petrol mix, even piston . was the bike running ok before? do the checks bud and check out my other videos on these as they should help. thanks for watching please like share and subscribe , mark

Starts fine standard pipe variator washer removed rollers ok belt ok only thing not cheched is stator etc was thinking maybe immobilizer but no fault on dash and starts up....bit of a twat really
Duncan Gallagher panels off bud and try and trace it as not sure where it could lead to So does it run ok without this wire ? If all electrics work then it should be ok and I’d tape it up but should have anything to do once running Mark

hi mark ive got bit of a head scratcher for you i have a sf 2 AC and it doesnt budge past 30 and if i go full throttle some times it will try to cut out or the bike will just not go faster and recently it does not like to go up hills if i go up a hill it just dies its got a leo vince tt exhaust carb has 64 jet got 6 gram rollers white contra spring closest to original i could get carbon fibre reeds and also brand new piston and cylinder it is fully de restricted any help will be appreciated thanks
sounds like a few problems there bud but have you checked your clutch as in the hand test like in my videos also belt and your rollers are nice and clean and round i have over 100 speedfight videos and i did a winter ride home one where my clutch was the fault for loose of power but also sounds carb problems clean all pipe tight but hows your plug? good blue spark
@@marksavage yeah spark is bang on everything is spot on iv watched your videos on the clutch and i took it all apart and cleaned it all up the only thing i can put it down to is the carb but im not sure what jet to put in it its got a 64 jet but i think its running lean so im gonna try a 66 jet
@@motorbikeryda883 remember standard jet is 54 56 so maybe go down to 60 and tune Too much fuel can give you this problem as it floods !! Just a thought
Any one got starter bendix for 100cc speed fight could do with the lil spaces with will buy need one asap got myn running and the spring in the bendix has snapped and come out
hi bud it is draining when off or just when you turn on the key as when on it still powers up the cdi and the auto chock , does it run ok start and stop all lights work i'm running a comp in my other video for a free Tshirt give that a watch bud mark
mark savage hi Mark it still draws with the key out. When running charges to 14.3v and runs fine so I’m happy rectifier is ok. Just unplugged and plugged back in connectors around steering column and drain has now gone...
James Hatfield that’s odd is it immob or none immob ? Immob would drain power and all little battery’s have a drain! As long as it runs and start on electric every day I’d just leave it or if not run a cut off wire on the earth that should stop it ‘Mark
mark savage it has immob but looks like it’s been dissed. I disconnected and reconnected all plugs on front and no drain it’s perfect now. So WD40’d the connectors and gunna leave it! Cheers for the help Mark
Interesting, as I've got the battery rebooted and going on the Peugeot elysio 100cc.... Rode it around fine... Get home, parked up for a couple hrs... Go to start it... Immobiliser light flashing with ignition on... Won't start.... Turn on off a few times... Starts n backfires!... Lots of rain... Maybe something is wet... Damp or cdi... Will try it again tomorrow... Scooter days may be over... My Yamaha virago 1100 cc.... Starts on the button...
andrew armstrong sounds like the inmob has lost its memory !! This is why the light flashes I’ve had this before Check for spark , might be luck as in water / wet connector but !! Check for spark bud Normally back firing is piston failure I have many videos that should help on my channel mark

Start over The starter turns yes But spins? If so its your bendix That the dog that spins out and goes onto the outer part of the variator Have you checked that bud I have 100 videos Check bendix mark savage Sounds like that

Mark, you are not going to believe this! Got my stator coil cleaned up after my water pump leak, got a new water pump, happy days ran fine and healthy for 2 days but cut out on me while going down the street, bogged as if theres no spark, so i tested spark and hey ho, i have no spark. so will have to get a bypass probably, but ive read on ebay they "remove rev limiter"? whats that all about? and does it matter if its liquid cooled or not? do they work for all speedfight 50cc/100cc?, when i turn the key on the red immobiliser light comes on then goes of then blinks twice then goes of then stays on constantly while turning over.
JDM Gaming it sounds like your immob key has lost it memory !! It can happen but what a bugger !! Immob 100 are the same for lc / ac and 50/100 but they don’t always work bud it’s 50/50 I’ve had some work well and other loads of running issues I once put in a new look and stator with a normal cdi That was the only way I got it running World of pain lol but I did get it running I think that moped hates you !!
@@marksavage Get this, I now randomly have spark, after swapping the spark plug, it will fire up and then struggle to run, and then bog out and flood, it's not the carb I've cleaned and tested the float it all works perfectly, it's as if I haven't got enough spark, could it be the coil as I've cleaned the stator coil and it did run fine for a day.
this bike hates you that all!!! pmsl yes bud change the ht/coil, but make sure you cdi is not playing up and check all the wiring as odd it runs ok then not like someone keeps playing with it ive had them mess around with fuel but that has always been the carb
@@marksavage it's as if the plug keeps fouling up with oil, its still a 50cc and is on standard oil pump, no premixed fuel in the tank so I have no clue. As soon as I clean the plug up it will fire up bang on no fault, then it will tick over and slowly bog
hi bud ok 1st do you know how to fix up bikes or the basics?, NRG's are fun fast peds but the pistons go on them all the time. Stage 6 is just some parts someone before has put on so the can be piston, air filter, clutch, variator and so on but if not done properly you end up buy a ped with a head ache . so the normal one is , ( yes mate it all runs but the carb needs cleaning!!!!) witch is rubbish more like they stuck on a 70cc kit or 21mm carb and not set it up so now it may need up or down jetting, change of air mix alone with air filter syste, cdi / stator coil and just these few things can be a bugger to sort out!! so if you have not bought it yet have a good think about what your paying and if you have the time and tools plus money to sort it , i'd buy one running with your cash bud. hope that help and please check out my other videos as I do have a nrg on here with running problems and other and like share and subscribe . mark
How do i get my starter motor out i have it all lose and ssaprate from the bike but theres no cap to get it out any one get any help be much appreciated thanks
It is a bugger but disconnect the battery then the live to the start as it may help Otherwise you need to undo all the cables underneath and twist it around It will come out bud
there's no gap between petals it's the stopper height I am after I prised them open thinking the petals would open further to allow more power but it's wrong
hey mark :D i have a speedfight 2003 50cc. 2weeks ago it run great. but i changed the motorblock and put all the parts from the old engine in the new one. but now it wont start. it has spark,gas and air. i have changed carb and some cdi,s(i dont know if the cdi,s work) but it didnt start with the old cdi i had. (stage 6 cdi)
hi bud thanks for watching ok motorblock as in the engine ? or piston and head? sorry bud here in the UK lol if it was running fine why did you change it bud , my dad used to say if it ant broke don't fix it! if it has spark your cdi is working bud so your plug gets wet and you have done the hand test like in my videos on the carb? you have reeds , oil seals, the piston and rings all things can stop an engine starting is it trying to start start again bud and you may see what's up or where you have gone wrong please i like share and sub and i have over 60 videos on speedfights that may help mark
i had to change the motorblock because the exhaust mount was broken :) and i transfered all the parts except the clutch. the replacement engineblock is a 2004 mod. but as far as i understand the only diffrense between 2001-2004 speedfight is the carb? sorry my english is abit bad :P
no bud the 50cc engine is the same from 1999 to 2009 only a few little changes like oil pump, some have drum or disc brakes and they updated the exhaust and last lc or ac big difference is in the 50cc to the 100cc i have a video on the exhaust mount as you could of just changed the half but it would have to have split the engine so changing it was easier but you don't know what was up with the other engine, did you see it running before? mark
i did not bother trying to start it when i bought it no. i checked the crank and all the barings and seals. everything was fine to the engineblock and seals and barings, so i just trew the parts over. i have 2003 50cc ac. and the replacement block was 2004 50cc ac. i changes my rollers from 6.5g to 8g because the 6.5g rollers lookes like a half moon haha:D
the year is no prob, but very hard to check an none running engine, just looking at the crank seal would show nothing did you check the piston bud? not many people take a running engine out of a bike then sell it? they would keep it in the frame and sell the whole bike unless they rebuilt it which i'm guess they didn't i'd start over and take it back off and go over it otherwise you will be playing this guessing game which you are not winning that's what i would be doing, you know i have loads of videos that will help mark

Hi mark I have a Solana 49cc I got it with a carburetor that didn't have a vacuum hose on it and was told the carburetor was bad well not having any money for a new carburetor a friend had a 150cc carburetor and put it on for me and tried to tune it well it hard to crank and the battery drains faster than the stator can charge it when you do get it cranked but my biggest problem is when you try to go from half throttle to wide open it bogs down and tries to go dead and when you crank it up you half to give it a little turn on the throttle to keep it running iv been told it can be getting to much gas or to much air and also the high jet maybe clogged or to small can you help me please to pin point the problem it will only get up to 20mph on flat ground and 5mph up hill and tries to die with anymore throttle the half way it's a 4 stroke air cooled 49cc Solana (iv also be told it's basically the same as a GY6 I don't know this is my first scooter and I wanted a fixer upper but not one that I can't find any manuals or exact diagrams or info) thank you mark Lin from Georgia USA first time scooter owner so just call me green with a scooter 2017 Solana 49.9cc /Jonway Solana/Vitacci Solana Yn50qt-80
Wow that is a big carb and you would have to de jet it right down and stop most of the air to to get it to run start and idle Its a lot of work and better to fine a 2nd 50cc carb bud Now I'm not saying you can't tune the 150 carb but you are look at going down to a 60 jet !! And half the air Jets are cheap so money being tight maybe worth a go Just make sure its the same jet to match the one you have !! Then tune like in my carb videos but less air
@@marksavage ok thank you so much and im having battery issues I needed to get a new battery the old one was a 12v 6ah the new one is 12v 9ah for a motorcycle and it keeps losing charge I get a jump start and charge it when I get home but by time I go to the store and go to leave I need a jump start I checked the stator and my friend said that it's putting out enough to charge the battery but something is using the battery faster then it can charge it
@@ultimatahunter8916 if your stator is ok as it does two jobs ! Timing and changing the battery and powering the lights then you have either a bad battery or a power drain But you should use a 6ah bud I'd check your connectors and earths Then drop test your battery after a change to see if its loosing change!
I have speed fight 2 100cc air cooled i am trying get running the immobiliser kicked i got cdi bypass pluged it in and bike wont start just clicks when press start button any ideas
Clicking is the starter to replace that bud like in my videos Being 100cc it's more of a bugger to get out and replace But use kick start first to see If you have spark ! They don't like the cheap immob cdis

how mark today I wz riding my speedfight 2 100cc it backfired and then died out felt like it sized up bt after a few seconds started straight up fine and road fine I turned it off had a brew n when I went bak on it on full throttle it bogs out I took the inlet to air box off now runs better but still bogs any idea
it's very cold and wet outside check ht cover on plug as they can get wet and mess around with the sprak and clean or change plug first before moving on to cleaning carb, mrak

yesssss about that!! they only do what you ask them nothing more,, and if it's just started bring it back first thing, but do have a look and the ht cap it's a simple thing to come loose or be forgot about after a service but if the bike ran ok then after shop not it's going to be something they did. mark
the ped stopped starting I took it bak to shop because I had a 28 day warranty on it and he said the float pin wz bent causing it to flood and not start it starts up grate now just bogs out on full throttle sort of like that yellow speedfight I've watched u work on did u find out what was Romford with it
hi bud no spark is only a few things like in my other videos that i have done on the same problem power! so ignition is on stator coil, coil plug, and CDI along with the wiring, you will need a volt meter to check these hope that help and please like share and subscribe i also have a free Tshire comp videos mark
mark savage hi I’ve been speaking to a few people as iv bought it to try get on road as it’s o7 plate I got it for 50 but there was no keys and someone mentioned the immobiliser could stop the spark ect because there’s no keys??
there are two one has a immob the other does not, if yours is a immob then you will need a new cdi and key lock set or you can get a bypass unit as in this and my cdi video to see where they are and a video on how to change the lock set if it's not then just the lock set but I have had it before where the have no spark then say the lost the key just to sell it! hope this helps please like share and subscribe and entre my free tshire comp mark

hi bud thanks for watching , as for the performance cdi's they often come with a cheap ht coil but all in they work but not for long as they burn out!I'd upgrade the plug, and change the rollers maybe even a small upjet and if you can sports exhaust but 4t's are not made for top speed like 2t's note but just remember to keep an eye on the oil like in my Chinese bike video , worth a watch as I have two videos on them mark
Gxrfield CG it should do 30 mph , I’d service it and clean the variator and change the rollers check belt and see how it rides then I have videos of n how to do all that Mark
you know I've never noticed as I would be trying to get it running lol, it may be getting power after the cdi! replace the cdi bud and get it running again, if it's still not working it may be the fuel sensor in the tank which is an easy fix I have many other videos that will help please like and sub mark
I measured the ohms resistance of the sensor in the tank and it seems to work, the CDI stopped sparkling, even the red light of the sensor on the board does not appear, seeing the diagram in the manual the black wire that comes out of the CDI goes towards the board, the oil gauge works, I did not understand well if the gas meter can work without the CDI mark I hope you can help me, you always do it lol
the red light will stop as that's from the cdi and immob, as for the tank you say it has power ? have you taken the sensor out and manually lifted it up and down to see if it works if it was me get it running again bud then investigate mark
I did the resistance test in ohms, with the two ends of the top part, moving up and down, the reading changes, but the resistance values were 45 ohms up to 90
Hiya mark pal, hope u can help me out AGAIN.lol. i got my moped out,again after the winter cold. Its warmer now Gy6 50cc moped. All went well couldent beleave it 3 kicks moped started. Everything ok. But when i set off. It only drove about 15mph. Like it was limited. Put new petrol in. But same no power. Could u help me out. Spark plug, new CDI,?? Not sure wat to do. Hi bud Variator Sitting the rollers can settle and not roll Take it off clean check over can change theroller if needed check belt Back together and should be fine bud

i got the black key guys sending me the red chip so that might work as this emoblizer might be fualty in the key where is the ecu located as all i can see is a big silver squared one under seat
Panels all off Check earths and all wires from batterys to coil If it looks all ok then it's the cdi and I'd be looking to change it None immobiliser is easier but immobiliser one it can even be the key and responder but again needs a bypass unit
Hi. Love your vids. Ive got a vivacity 50cc 2t. It starts 1st kick but wont rev over 2500rpm. Its sounds like its missing somehow. Ive bought the immobiliser bypass cdi and doesnt make a difference neither does re jetting
I have had this before with a bypass unit but normally it is the jet and air intake! you will have to play with that like try more air or less. take off the air box and see if you give it some if it rev's higher then you will know it's air intake. hope that helps please like share and subscribe mark

the stator does 2 things the timing on the out side and electrics on the inside, maybe take off and give it a good clean if dirty or change. yes I think I agree with the carb but don't buy the cheap Chinese one they just don't work ,buy another Peugeot one they work the best. mark
oh dear that's not good , you will need to buy a bypass cdi unit and they are on e bay I have videos on the cdi's and where they are and many other videos that will help you get off the panels to change it over , type in speedfight mark savage and 70 videos will be there but you may have to watch a few once you get of the panels its just a plug and paly for the cdi as for the ignition again I have a video on how to do that and you can buy them off e bay too
@@markrowley3245 Like in my video Cdi There are 4 types Cdi immobiliser under the front panel Two one gray one black left side of the battery these are oil cdi One 4pin right side of battery If yours was immobiliser one it will need a new bypass one If not you could just change the ignition Check which one you have bud As you said yours in immobiliser one and you have lift the front panel it should just connect in but does not need the radio puck up

I had a sf100 and it used to cut out but only when I was doing 60 mph, engine off like some one turned the key. It was the immobiliser in the end

Thanks , it's been looked at but has started cutting out a traffic lights . It also wouldn't turn off last week even when I took the key out
oh that's odd and will be a earth problem, looks like you will be needing some wd40 on the connectors under the front panel also check main earth and battery, as for the cutting out it could be linked, as normally it's your idle jet. mark
OK will try that in morning check plug again in day or two asked my local dealer and they said there's two belts for early and late models so bought both a gater 20405 and a Peugeot mtc 11 740 820 00 both was only fitting front well and was halfway in rear pully so tried a srcv 18.5 814 fitted lovely at rear but was half way up front so fitted the old stretched belt as I knew that fitted but was loose not much tension

I’ve got a speed fight 2 50cc LC, I was on the way back from college when the oil light came on a solid colour and the bike cut out, the bike is always full of oil and the pump is working. I’m starting to think it may be the emobiliser or something like it but I’m really struggling as I re-bled the system of the two stroke system and every time it starts and revs for a minute the light comes on and cuts out so I am really confused.
yes you are right
they have this problem with the CDI where the immobiliser cuts in or it forgets the memory
first you will need to take lots of panels off to get to the CDI under the front lower foot plate
sometimes you can get away you taking it off and wd40 the connectors as your in intermitting but failing it is and you will need a bypass unit like in my videos, they will help as there is 70 on speedfights
I've got a speedfight 2 50cc been told 70cc with a leo vince exhaust with a 17.5 carb and 74 jet with a standard air box and it just bogs won't go over 10mph
check the head it will have the cc on it !, exhaust is fine , carb ! is it a speedfight carb? best if not to get one and a 74 jet is big best start off with 60odd , check needle is straight ? go for air box but what filter is in it may just need a wash1 check plug bud as well a new one can't go a miss and can other help but with all this more than norm its the carb but also check rollers but as in my other videos. hope that helps mate and please like the videos that help .mark

so you just finished a rebuild as in total new crank and so on or just top end piston?. AC or LC? did you replace oil/crank seals? . have you tried easystart in the carb as in my other videos to get it going? this can help get the petrol in the pot by getting the engine going first. what was wrong with the bike in the first place was it running if so what stopped it. sorry bud there's loads of thing it can be but all linked to why you did an engine rebuild and what you did? . watch a few more of my other videos there are 50 all should help but it comes down to. a few main things. hope that help and please like share and subscribe. mark
Is the speedfight 1 rear side panels the same as the speedfight 2 I've I've baught a replacement speedfight 1 rear tail light but I think the rear side panels are different ?
the mk1 from panel and headlight and rear panel and tail lights are different and mk2 will fit but you have to replace the light as well
all other parts are the same give or take the wiring loom and connectors
Hello mark I've spoken to you before mate and you've helped being a great help in me successfully fixing and selling speedfights, I was just wondering I've just baught a mk1 speedfight and the front headlight is shockingly bad compared to the speedfight 2 headlights can you just straight swap them over ? Same wires , connector block etc cheers

the mk1 head lights are bad, the can replace the light and panel easy just plug and play
the light unit it's self can go in the mk1 panel but it is a tight fit and a bit of pushing in but can be done
the other bolts fit fine

it will fit but you have to sort of push it in as it is a bit bigger but I have done it many times before bud

ive got a video on this but its for the LC version to connect to the temp gauge so if you have a AC it does nothing bud and you can forget about it

thank you it tops out at 50 I've changed exhaust to a gianelli sprint up jetted left air box standard sounds awful open power filter put slightly lighter rollers in for take off but on std rollers still tops out at 50 racked my brains out trying to get it past 50 what's the air screw settings I was told 2 half tried that can't get plug to nice coffee colour it's black tried at 1 half out gone from there any info much appreciated

Maybe leave off the second air pipe just leave the main bit on the carb , use 4 and 8s much better bud
alright mark. ive watched all of your videos to do with peugeot speedfighters and this problem i have is still happening, when i press the staetor motor it just makes a screaming noise then after a bit it will start. if you have any ideas can u let me know

No it turns over fine and the red light flashes like it always has.
It was just strange how it was starting and running fine cleaned carb changed filter and plug and now it turns over but won’t fire up.
It’s got the immobilised model so I’ve ordered a coil with new plug and cdi unit or whatever it’s called😂.
It definitely got no spark now tho watched loads of your videos and followed your advice but just wanted to ask if you thought it could be anything else?

Lovely vid as always Mark! I have this old scooter from around 2000. I switched plug and coil, cleaned the carb and petrol system and finally got it running again after 15 years of just sitting around. I then turned it of to put seat and some plastics on and after that it hasn't started again, do you have any idea of what it could be?
ha ha i been there so many times , then it all panels off and start again bud . you may have even popped off a wire or lead . slowly see if it kick over to see if it still free and the piston is ok , see if the petrol is getting in ok and is my other videos bud they should help with carb and piston, spark and so on. and thanks for watching my videos mate hope they help

can you do a video of a wiring loom change on a peugeot speedfight 2 the wiring with the grey / silver cdi 8 pins please as theres no videos i can find of all the connections to make it run thank you
changing the wiring loom is a lot more harder than you think as the engine stator can be different, lights and power connectors too, not alone with the cdi !
try and get the same loom or just replace the part of the wiring you need to do it

how should a drive belt correctly fitted look like on a sf 2 100 cc 52 reg tried few belts either too small or too big tried original Peugeot belt for year still small fits 1inch in rear pully
that sounds odd you are looking for the 100cc as the 50cc are smaller due to the variator being bigger on the 100cc, it should be tight but not pulling open either side? I have had the same with the 100cc maybe check on line or from a Peugeot dealer for the right size, I would tell you but im not at home and have not got the manual to hand, could try e bay bud, , or put it back on bud and give it a go down the road if it hit 65 odd it's fine . hope that helps bud

Just noticed mark when the ignition is of it flashes when I turn the key the light stays red for 2 seconds then of and don’t come back on.

Hi mark I’ve just bought my son a Peugeot speedflight 2.
I done a little service on it yesterday carb clean air filter just basic stuff.
When I bought it it ran fine after putting everything back on it now clicks over but won’t start.
I’ve noticed after taking the plug out and putting it up against metal there don’t seem to be a spark.
Find it strange as everything I done except change the plug was nothing to do with the coil or anything like that.
I’ve put the old plug in and still no spark.
I’ve ordered a new coil and cdi unit of eBay the cdi unit was a bybass one.
Is there anything else you could think it is.
I’ve not fitted the new parts yet as only just ordered them but just didn’t no if there could be anything else.

it will still kick over and as long as it has a battery connected the lights will work
if the battery is off it wont like running and the light will be very dim make sure the leads are not touching or you will damage the stator coil

Hi Mark I have a 2010 speedfight 3 lc which has a Acuman cat 3 alarm / imobiliser; it was running fine until one day it just stopped and would not start.
I checked for a spark (seems ok) checked fuel and changed the fuel pump, cleanout the fuel tank and still will not start?
Thought it may be the CDI ? But it seems the CDI is the Acuman alarm ? When I ask about a bypass I am told that you cannot fit a bypass to this model. Any ideas

Shane Byrne I've done a video bud , but the reeds should be closed mate not open or loose !! They should fit nice and tight with no light to been seen when you hold them up , check out my video on bogging down for a check list , hope that helps bud , mark

you wont bud the newer the moped / bike the more restricted they are, try a off the market exhaust and different rollers or pop it into a garage to see if they can do it

you should have a battery on your bike when running, when you kick it over you only get a few volts to start it so could cause it not to power up the immob, but really best to have a battery and this is normal so no problem with your bike, plus you lights and so on wont work properly.. please like the videos that help and share. mark
Hi mate I have an 05 speedfight 100, it runs absalutley mint untill it warms up then it just cuts out, it will start straight back up but then it will be sluggish on power, but once it's cold it runs mint again, don't suppose you have any answers?
what air filter are you running , when cold its on choke it has less air so i'd be looking at jet dub so go down by 4 , it could also be carb air mix once set up right , bad it maybe stator coil going to earth once warm !

Hi Mark, I've a jet force 50 tsdi, while the engine was running I turned the key to open the seat and the bike cut out and wouldn't restart initially. I got it going eventually and got home.
Now it won't start at all unless I turn the key very slowly I will get a contact and can start it then. When I let go of the key though it cuts out. I'm told it's a problem with the ignition. Do I need to replace the CSI?
hi bud I have had this before , 1st try the easy way spray a maintenance spray / wd40 down and around the lock
a bit more take the back of the lock off and clean and wd40 that if still no good bud then yes replace it but worth a go bud first

yes oil cdi ive changed the cdi /wiring /stator /piston / ht lead /spark plug yes still not firing up what shell i do to the bike shell i scrap it or what

Hi Mark. Wondering if you could assist me? Trying to fix my friends looxor 100. It has no spark. It was running rough and died mid journey. So I had a look at it. Cleaned carb, new air filter foam, checked plug..no spark. Changed plug, changed coil, changed cdi unit (wasn't original - previous owner changed it along with ignition barrel) I bought a bypass unit from eBay. Still no spark. Changed relay, charged battery checked loom for breakages - still no spark! Starter motor turns engine fine.. Just no spark. Haven't checked stator because I've never done one. Battery had charge though so will it even be that? Front lights won't go on with ignition on (is that normal?) However indicators and brake light, and horn all work. Do you have any advice?Thanks
I should say, the cdi unit is the type originally fitted with an imobiliser .the larger type.

ok use a volt meter on the stator coil and see if that putting out any volts as this could be the problem if its not putting out any power then the rest of the system would not work
i have also had a cheap bypass unit that was faulty so you may need to check if you have power going to it if any is coming out too

I'll have a go. I can't tell which cables coming out of the cdi should have power, there isn't any coming out on the green wire that goes into the stater relay. I only have a cheap volt reader but it did show some current coming out of 2 of the 3 wires coming out from the stator. Perhaps the cdi unit is dodgy. I'll return it and try another.
connent the volt earth to the battey earth . them try the other wires coming from the stator , greaan is earth by the way
turn the bike over to see if you have a current coming out to the cdi then if so coming out from the cdi.
so could be the cdsi or stator, i'd take the stator out and have a look before paying out any more money,

Hi mark my speed fight won't rev properly, constant bogging so I bought a new carb thinking that was the problem but it's still bogging and not even moving. Any tips?
it is a speedfight carb or the cheap ones of e bay as they can also not run right , you may need to look at spark plug /ht lead coil . whats your air filter like and is it a speedfight one. the needle in the carb. air petrol mix, even piston . was the bike running ok before? do the checks bud and check out my other videos on these as they should help. thanks for watching please like share and subscribe , mark

hi bud as in my videos I don't like them and they don't like me lolok so put it on the stand and open her up and your saying it wont rev over 5k!!, did it before?or when you riding ? they all have restrictors on them but have you checked the roller and belt / clutch ?start ok? give me a bit more info and ill try and help/ mark
Starts fine standard pipe variator washer removed rollers ok belt ok only thing not cheched is stator etc was thinking maybe immobilizer but no fault on dash and starts up....bit of a twat really

hi mark ive got bit of a head scratcher for you i have a sf 2 AC and it doesnt budge past 30 and if i go full throttle some times it will try to cut out or the bike will just not go faster and recently it does not like to go up hills if i go up a hill it just dies its got a leo vince tt exhaust carb has 64 jet got 6 gram rollers white contra spring closest to original i could get carbon fibre reeds and also brand new piston and cylinder it is fully de restricted any help will be appreciated thanks
sounds like a few problems there bud but have you checked your clutch as in the hand test like in my videos also belt and your rollers are nice and clean and round
i have over 100 speedfight videos and i did a winter ride home one where my clutch was the fault for loose of power
but also sounds carb problems clean all pipe tight but hows your plug? good blue spark
@@marksavage yeah spark is bang on everything is spot on iv watched your videos on the clutch and i took it all apart and cleaned it all up the only thing i can put it down to is the carb but im not sure what jet to put in it its got a 64 jet but i think its running lean so im gonna try a 66 jet

under the seat where the seat catch is, you may have to pull out the small plastic tray that covers it

it is draining when off or just when you turn on the key as when on it still powers up the cdi and the auto chock , does it run ok start and stop all lights work

mark savage hi Mark it still draws with the key out. When running charges to 14.3v and runs fine so I’m happy rectifier is ok. Just unplugged and plugged back in connectors around steering column and drain has now gone...

Immob would drain power and all little battery’s have a drain!
As long as it runs and start on electric every day I’d just leave it or if not run a cut off wire on the earth that should stop it

mark savage it has immob but looks like it’s been dissed. I disconnected and reconnected all plugs on front and no drain it’s perfect now. So WD40’d the connectors and gunna leave it! Cheers for the help Mark

Interesting, as I've got the battery rebooted and going on the Peugeot elysio 100cc.... Rode it around fine... Get home, parked up for a couple hrs... Go to start it... Immobiliser light flashing with ignition on... Won't start.... Turn on off a few times... Starts n backfires!... Lots of rain... Maybe something is wet... Damp or cdi... Will try it again tomorrow... Scooter days may be over... My Yamaha virago 1100 cc.... Starts on the button...

You all right again sorry for been pest just dont no much about bikes amd trying keep the cost down on maintenance i have put the new starter motor on i did use second hand battery but the bike still wont attempt to start starter motor just spins its had new ralay new ignition new cdi i tried the old cdi done same thing mate

no bud you need the 8 pin, see if you can return it but it wont work

Mark, you are not going to believe this! Got my stator coil cleaned up after my water pump leak, got a new water pump, happy days ran fine and healthy for 2 days but cut out on me while going down the street, bogged as if theres no spark, so i tested spark and hey ho, i have no spark. so will have to get a bypass probably, but ive read on ebay they "remove rev limiter"? whats that all about? and does it matter if its liquid cooled or not? do they work for all speedfight 50cc/100cc?, when i turn the key on the red immobiliser light comes on then goes of then blinks twice then goes of then stays on constantly while turning over.

Immob 100 are the same for lc / ac and 50/100 but they don’t always work bud it’s 50/50

I once put in a new look and stator with a normal cdi
That was the only way I got it running

@@marksavage Get this, I now randomly have spark, after swapping the spark plug, it will fire up and then struggle to run, and then bog out and flood, it's not the carb I've cleaned and tested the float it all works perfectly, it's as if I haven't got enough spark, could it be the coil as I've cleaned the stator coil and it did run fine for a day.

yes bud change the ht/coil, but make sure you cdi is not playing up and check all the wiring as odd it runs ok then not like someone keeps playing with it
ive had them mess around with fuel but that has always been the carb
@@marksavage it's as if the plug keeps fouling up with oil, its still a 50cc and is on standard oil pump, no premixed fuel in the tank so I have no clue. As soon as I clean the plug up it will fire up bang on no fault, then it will tick over and slowly bog

mark I need your help I'm buying a nrg with all stage 6 but there is something wrong with it and I don't know what it is
hi bud ok 1st do you know how to fix up bikes or the basics?, NRG's are fun fast peds but the pistons go on them all the time. Stage 6 is just some parts someone before has put on so the can be piston, air filter, clutch, variator and so on but if not done properly you end up buy a ped with a head ache . so the normal one is , ( yes mate it all runs but the carb needs cleaning!!!!) witch is rubbish more like they stuck on a 70cc kit or 21mm carb and not set it up so now it may need up or down jetting, change of air mix alone with air filter syste, cdi / stator coil and just these few things can be a bugger to sort out!!
so if you have not bought it yet have a good think about what your paying and if you have the time and tools plus money to sort it , i'd buy one running with your cash bud. hope that help and please check out my other videos as I do have a nrg on here with running problems and other and like share and subscribe . mark

It is a bugger but disconnect the battery then the live to the start as it may help
Otherwise you need to undo all the cables underneath and twist it around

there's no gap between petals it's the stopper height I am after I prised them open thinking the petals would open further to allow more power but it's wrong

hey mark :D i have a speedfight 2003 50cc. 2weeks ago it run great. but i changed the motorblock and put all the parts from the old engine in the new one. but now it wont start. it has spark,gas and air. i have changed carb and some cdi,s(i dont know if the cdi,s work) but it didnt start with the old cdi i had. (stage 6 cdi)

so your plug gets wet and you have done the hand test like in my videos on the carb?
you have reeds , oil seals, the piston and rings all things can stop an engine starting

i had to change the motorblock because the exhaust mount was broken :) and i transfered all the parts except the clutch. the replacement engineblock is a 2004 mod. but as far as i understand the only diffrense between 2001-2004 speedfight is the carb? sorry my english is abit bad :P
no bud the 50cc engine is the same from 1999 to 2009 only a few little changes like oil pump, some have drum or disc brakes and they updated the exhaust and last lc or ac
big difference is in the 50cc to the 100cc
i have a video on the exhaust mount as you could of just changed the half but it would have to have split the engine so changing it was easier
but you don't know what was up with the other engine, did you see it running before?

i did not bother trying to start it when i bought it no. i checked the crank and all the barings and seals. everything was fine to the engineblock and seals and barings, so i just trew the parts over. i have 2003 50cc ac. and the replacement block was 2004 50cc ac. i changes my rollers from 6.5g to 8g because the 6.5g rollers lookes like a half moon haha:D
the year is no prob, but very hard to check an none running engine, just looking at the crank seal would show nothing
did you check the piston bud?
not many people take a running engine out of a bike then sell it?
they would keep it in the frame and sell the whole bike unless they rebuilt it which i'm guess they didn't
i'd start over and take it back off and go over it otherwise you will be playing this guessing game which you are not winning

Check why it blow before fitting the new one as it maybe the earth which is the problem
Theres a lot of screws and bolts to take off to get the seat out bud

Hi mark I have a Solana 49cc I got it with a carburetor that didn't have a vacuum hose on it and was told the carburetor was bad well not having any money for a new carburetor a friend had a 150cc carburetor and put it on for me and tried to tune it well it hard to crank and the battery drains faster than the stator can charge it when you do get it cranked but my biggest problem is when you try to go from half throttle to wide open it bogs down and tries to go dead and when you crank it up you half to give it a little turn on the throttle to keep it running iv been told it can be getting to much gas or to much air and also the high jet maybe clogged or to small can you help me please to pin point the problem it will only get up to 20mph on flat ground and 5mph up hill and tries to die with anymore throttle the half way it's a 4 stroke air cooled 49cc Solana (iv also be told it's basically the same as a GY6 I don't know this is my first scooter and I wanted a fixer upper but not one that I can't find any manuals or exact diagrams or info) thank you mark

Wow that is a big carb and you would have to de jet it right down and stop most of the air to to get it to run start and idle
Its a lot of work and better to fine a 2nd 50cc carb bud
Now I'm not saying you can't tune the 150 carb but you are look at going down to a 60 jet !!
And half the air
Jets are cheap so money being tight maybe worth a go
Just make sure its the same jet to match the one you have !!
Then tune like in my carb videos but less air
@@marksavage ok thank you so much and im having battery issues I needed to get a new battery the old one was a 12v 6ah the new one is 12v 9ah for a motorcycle and it keeps losing charge I get a jump start and charge it when I get home but by time I go to the store and go to leave I need a jump start I checked the stator and my friend said that it's putting out enough to charge the battery but something is using the battery faster then it can charge it

Timing and changing the battery and powering the lights then you have either a bad battery or a power drain
But you should use a 6ah bud
I'd check your connectors and earths
Then drop test your battery after a change to see if its loosing change!

Clicking is the starter to replace that bud like in my videos
Being 100cc it's more of a bugger to get out and replace
But use kick start first to see If you have spark ! They don't like the cheap immob cdis

how mark today I wz riding my speedfight 2 100cc it backfired and then died out felt like it sized up bt after a few seconds started straight up fine and road fine I turned it off had a brew n when I went bak on it on full throttle it bogs out I took the inlet to air box off now runs better but still bogs any idea
it's very cold and wet outside check ht cover on plug as they can get wet and mess around with the sprak and clean or change plug first before moving on to cleaning carb, mrak
mark savage I will have a look today but I only just got it back from shop they ment to have put a carb rebuild kit in for me so would of Fort they would of cleaned carb in process
yesssss about that!! they only do what you ask them nothing more,, and if it's just started bring it back first thing, but do have a look and the ht cap it's a simple thing to come loose or be forgot about after a service but if the bike ran ok then after shop not it's going to be something they did. mark
the ped stopped starting I took it bak to shop because I had a 28 day warranty on it and he said the float pin wz bent causing it to flood and not start it starts up grate now just bogs out on full throttle sort of like that yellow speedfight I've watched u work on did u find out what was Romford with it

so ignition is on stator coil, coil plug, and CDI along with the wiring, you will need a volt meter to check these

mark savage hi I’ve been speaking to a few people as iv bought it to try get on road as it’s o7 plate I got it for 50 but there was no keys and someone mentioned the immobiliser could stop the spark ect because there’s no keys??
there are two one has a immob the other does not, if yours is a immob then you will need a new cdi and key lock set or you can get a bypass unit
as in this and my cdi video to see where they are and a video on how to change the lock set
if it's not then just the lock set but I have had it before where the have no spark then say the lost the key just to sell it!

hi bud thanks for watching , as for the performance cdi's they often come with a cheap ht coil but all in they work but not for long as they burn out!I'd upgrade the plug, and change the rollers maybe even a small upjet and if you can sports exhaust but 4t's are not made for top speed like 2t's note but just remember to keep an eye on the oil like in my Chinese bike video , worth a watch as I have two videos on them mark

hi mark ,recently my CDI no longer works, the question is if my fuel gauge stops working without the CDI, it is a Speedfight 2 100 c.c
you know I've never noticed as I would be trying to get it running lol, it may be getting power after the cdi!
replace the cdi bud and get it running again, if it's still not working it may be the fuel sensor in the tank which is an easy fix

I measured the ohms resistance of the sensor in the tank and it seems to work, the CDI stopped sparkling, even the red light of the sensor on the board does not appear, seeing the diagram in the manual the black wire that comes out of the CDI goes towards the board, the oil gauge works, I did not understand well if the gas meter can work without the CDI mark

the red light will stop as that's from the cdi and immob, as for the tank you say it has power ?
have you taken the sensor out and manually lifted it up and down to see if it works
if it was me get it running again bud then investigate

I did the resistance test in ohms, with the two ends of the top part, moving up and down, the reading changes, but the resistance values were 45 ohms up to 90
Hiya mark pal, hope u can help me out AGAIN.lol. i got my moped out,again after the winter cold. Its warmer now Gy6 50cc moped. All went well couldent beleave it 3 kicks moped started. Everything ok. But when i set off. It only drove about 15mph. Like it was limited. Put new petrol in. But same no power. Could u help me out. Spark plug, new CDI,?? Not sure wat to do. my 2009 peugeot jetforce 50 have the key with emob in it just it wont spark emob light stays on when i press electric start
Thats your immobiliser bud
So you need a new one or a bypass
The jetforce are really common for this problem
i got the black key guys sending me the red chip so that might work as this emoblizer might be fualty in the key where is the ecu located as all i can see is a big silver squared one under seat

Check earths and all wires from batterys to coil
If it looks all ok then it's the cdi and I'd be looking to change it
None immobiliser is easier but immobiliser one it can even be the key and responder but again needs a bypass unit

Hi. Love your vids. Ive got a vivacity 50cc 2t. It starts 1st kick but wont rev over 2500rpm. Its sounds like its missing somehow. Ive bought the immobiliser bypass cdi and doesnt make a difference neither does re jetting
I have had this before with a bypass unit but normally it is the jet and air intake! you will have to play with that like try more air or less. take off the air box and see if you give it some if it rev's higher then you will know it's air intake. hope that helps please like share and subscribe mark

the stator does 2 things the timing on the out side and electrics on the inside, maybe take off and give it a good clean if dirty or change. yes I think I agree with the carb but don't buy the cheap Chinese one they just don't work ,buy another Peugeot one they work the best. mark

oh dear that's not good ,
you will need to buy a bypass cdi unit and they are on e bay
I have videos on the cdi's and where they are and many other videos that will help you get off the panels to change it over , type in speedfight mark savage and 70 videos will be there but you may have to watch a few
once you get of the panels its just a plug and paly for the cdi as for the ignition again I have a video on how to do that and you can buy them off e bay too

There are 4 types
Cdi immobiliser under the front panel
Two one gray one black left side of the battery these are oil cdi
One 4pin right side of battery
If yours was immobiliser one it will need a new bypass one
If not you could just change the ignition
Check which one you have bud
As you said yours in immobiliser one and you have lift the front panel it should just connect in but does not need the radio puck up
I’ve looked at all the bypass units I’ve brought one that they said would fit my bike but the conneters are not the same

Hello I have a 2008 Warter cooled speed fight 2 I was wondering if you have any I dear how it could of stopped it sparking when it did spark its started up then smoke started coming out were keys go lol
cdi bud as they do blow very easy i have videos on this along with over 100 others on my channel all will help bud
however after you saying about the smoke it could be the wirers as they can split near the head stock and short out
sounds back bud and you may have to redo the loom and find what as shorted out
Spot on Mt Al test cdi now and I you got some gd videos on here got some wicked tips off you on speedfight I sat and unwrapped loom last night there was a little rust a damp there but sorted that out loom OK now just wondering if my scooter was with a immobiliser 2008 plate black and silver water cooled scooter
@@shanemckeith7879 easy to check , is your key a fatter one with a little red insert at the top, do you have a red flashing light n the dash . i have a video on the 4 cdi's
