I read some reviews and some ford owners said they got increased MPG fuel economy after using FLATED. I just got one ordered for my F150. I’m likely doing the camping high top model not the low profile cap.
@@reviveoutdoors4himAlso I saw you are sleeping out of it on a road trip do you sleep in the bed diagonally? can’t wait to see more about your setup and how camping out of the mav is
@@jamesonwebster5186 I put the tailgate down and throw a DAC tent over the back and tailgate so I can sleep laying straight and not diagonally. Its really nice! I was hoping to film a video on it today, but its raining pretty hard.
@@reviveoutdoors4himI think i’m gonna buy one of these this afternoon and use it to sleep out of on a road trip next year! Hopefully I can squeeze a dirtbike under the cover lol. Can’t wait to see that video tho!
No sir. I’ve never heard that before. That’s interesting. I believe its a safety concern, but it isn’t law from what I just read unless its a law a state has specifically passed for some reason I am unaware of.
100%! The speed limit in Texas is 85mph and I have tested it up to it! I am on a 2,000 mile road trip with it currently sleeping out of it every night. I will post a video after to let everyone know my thoughts. Please subscribe and comment anytime!

This is very cool! I didn't know they made something like this. I would get it for the same reason you do. Easy removal and easy storage .
Its awesome! Don’t forget about the discount codes!
Thank you for sharing, I have that same grey Maverick and think it looks fantastic! Think I will get one too!
Enjoy it! I love mine! Don’t forget about the 15% off code in the description!
By any chance could you please measure from the bed floor to the ceiling of the topper? Cheers!
Just shy of 40”
Nice video. Do you know the height difference between the Maverick roof and the topper roof?
I do not. And I just took it off my truck earlier today.
Any estimate? 10”?
@@tomw7863 I would say so. The antenna is 8” and its probably 2” higher

Hey! Just wondering how tall it is from the bed to the roof of the cover? Probably not big enough for a dirtbike?
I wouldn’t think so. Do you know your dirt bike height?

How wind resistant is it?
@@yrv378 in a controlled and safe environment I have tested it to 110mph with no issues. The topper is awesome! And it improved my gas mileage!
Does this come with a third brake light? I’ve gotten guff from officers when a toppers light wasn’t functioning before.

Generally it's not an issue with "temporary caps", can't guarantee that for every state but our softopper competitors also dont have a light there.
In Florida, as long as two of the three brake lights are visible/operational, you’re good.
Let’s talk water proofness
Had it on through rain downpours and snow with no issues. Very impressed!
How did you waterproof it? The mixed reviews online have mentioned issues with waterproofness@@reviveoutdoors4him
Is this useable at highway speeds?
