"I'm here because I think the Republic is hopelessly corrupt and must be replaced. In that respect, I am still a Jedi, as are you." - Quinlan Vos to Darth Tyrannus
All with the end goal to overthrow Sidious. Pong Krell had aspirations to become Dookus apprentice too, he may have done were he not captured then executed.
Yes. Honestly, i would rather they stand in 4 MOST OF grievous’ bumbling failures in the series. & after all, dooku’s apprentices 4 the most part were the cis’ inquisitors.
It was also pretty logical move. Republic had the advantage of Force users so why not try to cultivate a similar cadre of warriors? Obviously not as numerous, but dark siders don't work well in big groups unless they have a common goal to kill Jedi lol.
@@midniteryder_3-16 And then when they fail, it could just as often be due to them being some of the weaker ones here, or because they can't stop their infighting.
Savage was crazy strong. He had less lightsaber training than a padawan and still killed many jedi masters, put up an impressive display of power against Dooku and Ventress, tanked more blaster shots at once than anyone else in the series and even put up a reasonable fight against Sidious together with Maul. He absolutely had the potential to surpass even Maul and Dooku.
"Only one Palpatine wanted dead" Bro, he personally killed Savage after he and Maul put up a pretty impressive fight and he needed to stab him twice and throw him of a building to kill him. Savage is way stronger than Ventress and if he had more actual training he could've easily surpassed Dooku and Maul.
You might be underselling Sev'rance, I have a few reasons to think this. Firstly, her loss is to Echuu Shen-Jon, who was trained by Windu and is directly compared to him in ability, so is most likely around Depa Billaba or Sora Bulq in terms of ability realistically speaking (who like him, are also Jedi Masters trained by Windu who fall to the dark side). Now, we don't necessarily know how well she did, but it's not really a mark against you to lose there. Next, she does defeat Jor Drakas herself, who was a knight, her combat abilities appear to also be pretty good even if her main assets are as a commander. Finally, it's worth noting that her exploits are extremely early in the Clone Wars, so a lot of characters who may be stronger than her didn't necessarily make it there yet.
Mace windu still beat him and no sora is not dookus equal if he was then the strike team would’ve been a success and dooku would’ve been dead. instead the whole strike team was killed or badly injured and sora was taken prisoner y’all clearly don’t know what your talking about bc the dark side doesn’t make vaapad stronger it makes it weaker and thats why mace windu was able to defeat him bc when using the light side vaapad against the dark side vaapad windu was able to channel sora’s darkness and use it against him. that’s when he chose to make vaapad a forbidden form and only train his own apprentice who in legends also turned to the dark side bc of the form and after that he refused to teach anyone the form and even when talking about the form in the holocrons he only explained the form and why it’s so dangerous he never actually teaches you how to use the form

Obi-Wan was also a prospective apprentice for Dooku because he's Qui-Gon's apprentice so Dooku had some affection for him and wanted to overthrow Palpatine with his help. He also defeated Maul so obviously he was on the top of Dooku’s list of prospective apprentices.

I don't know if I would say that Savage is more powerful than Assaj. He definitely had the potential, but he was untrained. No. Dooku didn't defect from the Jedi Order until after Maul's supposed death, from the death of Qui Gon. The problem was him training Maul while Sidious himself was still a Sith Apprentice.
Probably not since Dooku trained her as a jedi and not a sith or dark jedi since she never served under a dark side Dooku. Its more of a technicality though since she was an apprentice that went dark, albeit due to different circumstances.
