I love fleur she's so good she's a chatterbox but in a good way she's the most informative you tuber she knows so much about everything and doesn't just say "I like this because" she properly explains the products and she never gets awkward or stalls. She's the best!
I caught a reply on Twitter of Sunday Riley saying that though there is dye in the product, it's less than a dot of an eyeshadow amount. Majority of the coloring is from the Blue Tanszy. :)
I tried a sample of the Luna Sleeping Oil this week and I'm really enjoying it so far. I had mixed feelings about trying it out but it would have costed way more to make the oil myself since blue tansy is quite expensive on its own. Also the artificial dyes were a turnoff but I can see why they did that. While blue tansy does have a natural hue, it would have led to an inconsistent color from bottle to bottle. They most likely went with the dyes so all the bottles of the oil have the same exact shade of blue.
What i really like about your favourites is, that you keep sticking to showing us mainly beauty-products.. THE MOST INTERESTING theme! And not random shiz i really dont care about.. So 👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for that 😊
The conversion of the US dollar to Canadian plus shipping and taxes makes sigma brushes pretty expensive for me at least. Mentally hoping the Canadian dollar makes a comeback
I have been using the Luna oil for almost 6 months now and have very fair skin. It works extremely well for me. I have never had a problem with it leaving a greyish cast though. It may mean that you are not massaging it into the skin enough to make the cplour disappear. The colour of it helps so you know where you have and have not applied it. And then once you massage it in gently but really well the colour will disappear.
This is exactly the same for me. I'm so fair that my skin is almost transparent and I've never had a problem with a grey cast. I do follow Caroline herons facial massage routine when I apply it which my make a difference?
Great video as always! I think the Luna oil is blue because of the blue tansy (or something like that!) in it which is actually blue, rather than them creating it blue if that makes sense xxx
+whatlauraloves While it does contain blue tansy oil, the reality is that this formula's colour is due to its inclusion of the artificial colouring agents CI 61565 (green 6) and CI 60725 (violet 2). They are listed in the ingredients.
Beautypedia gives Luna Sleeping Oil one star. One issue is that the pH is at the incorrect level to be effective. There are much more affordable and effective retinol treatments out there without the hefty price tag.
+Marsha Williamson Sunday Riley products are the biggest rip off of all time. Mostly because of the packaging. She puts quickly degrading oils in an unstable environment and then sells them for an exorbitant amount.
+Melinda Blauer Good call! Also, doesn't retinol also degrade more quickly when exposed to light? Why would the company pack it in a relatively "clear" bottle. Heh...if I can see through it it's "clear"! :)
Hi, Fleur! I heard you talking about your hair. People with green/hazel eyes, hair tends to pull warmer colors when you alter your hair color. So, that explains your roots pulling warmer tones and reds :-)!
I so badly want to try candy from the UK! I go crazy for those "taste test" videos! I really hope to do one one day! I love your favorites videos as always Fleur! xx
+Coco NuageRose I agree! I dislike the Bourjois foundation, because I am very pale and when the foundation oxidates on my skin it looks like a diaster. I liked the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, but I don't like their foundations at all. I am constantly searching for a perfect foundation and for now, I feel like Skin Base from Illamasqua is one of the best foundations for my skin, so yeah... I suggest you spend a little more on foundation, because (for me) the drugstore foundations just aren't working. :(
Hey Fleur, any type of lowlight or darker blonde dye that you put in your hair will fade unfortunately and ALWAYS throw a lot of warmth (even the ash tones). What I did was actually grow my natural colour out and get spaced out foils. That way my own hair colour becomes the colour in between and is essentially the "low light" to break up the blonde. Using the purple shampoo will help a lot, the fudge one is the best in my opinion :)
I'm really glad that you've reviewed the Luna oil! I've been really wanting to splurge on it but needed an honest opinion! Can't wait to try it! I LOVE your skincare recommendations!
The sigma 3DHD brush is sooo good I'm so glad you added it in your favourites! I use it for both foundation and cream contouring, it blends like a dream 😍
Your makeup and the colors you're wearing in this video are really on point with your coloring - you look angelic! Great monthly faves :) I tried the Luna oil but it seemed to do nothing for me :( I was very disappointed especially for the price I paid. I have very large pores and oily skin and it didn't seem to help with anything. Oh well, not every product is meant for every person.
I find it interesting that you notice the dye on your face still. I've never noticed a blue cast on my face after I've applied Luna. But maybe you're using more drops than me? I generally use 3 drops and I find that's enough. I could see if you used more then you might notice more coloring on your skin? Not sure. Luna is also nice because it uses Trans-Retinol Ester which is like the gentle sister of Retinol, and is less likely to cause a reaction in your skin (like peeling, sensitivity, etc that is common with retinol).
A good but cheap (for retinol) product with retinol is the Redermic R from La Roche Posay. Can't remember exactly how much % it has but it's enough to have the same refining effect as you mentioned the Luna oil has.
The end was so cute.. oh Fleur:)) Great favorites,i will checkout that Bourjois foundation asap! It would be great if you could do some GRWM video with that foundation.⭐️🎄🎄
Fleur, the Luna Oil only got 1 star on the BeautyPedia website....just giving you a heads up! I know there's a tonnnnn of hype around that product, like you mentioned, but from what I've read, it's actually not as beneficial as it claims to be. And with a pretty big price tag, that stinks.... :(
I don't think anyone can make a general ruling on it. It works really well for me. Everyone's skin is different and every product will give different results to different people. Everyone should just do what works for their own skin.
I have the same problem with my hair where it turns very orange on the darker blonde/light brunette roots that have been colored. If you have hard water like I do where I live, try a filtered shower head and/or the Malibu hard water treatment packets. Both have been making a huge difference for me...more than purple shampoo ever has
Not sure what it is Fleur, but your skin looks even more amazing recently! Simply flawless! If it's the result of the night oil then I definitely need to check it out~~
The nail polish looks super similar to Revlon's Colorstay in Wildcard which is only like $7 in the US. I'm actually super impressed with the whole Colorstay Gel Envy line!
There's another face oil with blue tansy and no dye that's cheaper called Lapis by Herbivore Botanicals! Sephora sells it online. It's been amazing for my face and balances the oils!
Hi Fleur! A product that is really really good for dry and damaged lips is a local lipbalm called Suavina that is handmade in Castellón (Spain). I've never tried anything better than that! It's really thick and has a strong but nice smell, and it works marvelous! If you ever come to Valencia or Castellón in Spain you must absolutely try it!
I don't know if it really is the Luna from the beginning but you look like your glowing, gorgeous, but if that is the case then now I know what I'm saving up for!
Fleur! They're selling your eyelashes on Asos!! (I know they sell them in other, cooler places too, but that's the first time I've seen them in a 'store'!) Congrats!!
I feel the same way about Luna! I didn't want to like it but it's the first time I actually saw a noticeable difference in my skin after using it. I believe the blue color is natural and comes from the blue tansy.
I love the Luna oil & its the only Retinol product I can use 😍❤️. However, it honestly doesn't leave a blue color on my face & I probably use too much. I wonder if it depends on your skin tone... 🤔
It would be interesting for you to review the Poundland makeup range. I really rate your reviews , and your conclusions on products ( lower end and higher end) I always find you to be always pretty much dead on. It would be really interesting to see your take on it . Even Vogue did a review on it a while back. Anyway great video, l adore the Butter London nail colour .
I love the Agave Lip Mask...I actually purchased it on your recommendation when you first mentioned it (this may have been a year or so ago!) and I still use the same tube. Well worth the money! Great video!
the Paul Mitchell purple shampoo platinum is the best purple shampoo I've ever used ..I have platinum hair and I have noticed a huge difference w this shampoo. .leave in for 8 minutes in the shower
When you get half way through your seche vite bottle, it will most likely going to go gloopy. So remember to buy the Seche restore, that will get it back to normal. I know it is a bit of work, but it is so good that I feel like it is worth it :) Loved the ending for the video :)
what also really helps if your lips are very chapped is to use some wound cream like bepanthen on your lips at night. that helps me so much in winter because my lips crack to the point where they bleed
I work at Space NK and the reason Luna is blue is not down to any artificial colouring but because it contains 5 types of camomile (hence why you have no had a reaction to the retinol and why it differs from other retinols) one of which is Blue Tansy which is naturally blue! :) also, you're right it is one of the most concentrated and active retinols you can get on the market as it is in oil form- Sunday Riley argues that when you whip a retinol over and over into a cream consistency, oxygen gets into the formula and the retinol looses its potency!
Neutrogena anti-wrinkle syrum has retinol in it and will have the same effect as the Sunday Riley oil, but for much cheaper. If you want to put oil on your face, avocado oil is the closest match to our natural face oils.
+electrictwilight huh didn't see dyes listed in the ingredients. In any event the chamomile is naturally blue. Not getting the product though if there are dyes in it.
I've been wondering what's been on your nails! I need to get that! Also, if you love Seche Vite, you should try Out The Door. It's cheaper (here in the US, anyway) and it's exactly the same except less smelly! I love it.
Dr Lipp lip balm is brilliant for lips, my lips were so dry that they were splitting I put the balm on last thing at night and the next day the splits and dryness had gone. X
what did you think of the kat von d tattoo liner that Lana gave you? really wondering if it's as good as stila, as don't want to order over to uk and be disappointed! x
Loveeeee that lip mask. I have severely allergic reactions on my lips and in my mouth to certain foods that I'm just finding out about and that mask helps so much. Stops my lips from bleeding too much and from forming fever blisters. Literal lip saver lol
Yayy for long favourites videos 🎉🎉 if you haven't tried the bleach London purple shampoo I would highly recommend it! I talked about it in my October favourites video 😊 xx
It's blue because of the Blue Tansy, which is the ingredient that helps with skin irritation. And correction, it does NOT contain retinol A. It has Trans-retinol Ester. A much more milder retinol.
I've heard if you can still see the blueish tint on your skin with luna that you've put too much on. I just got mine though and have only been using it for a few days.
Love Nilens Jord! Btw, it means Earth of the Nile! You know, like the river in Egypt :)
Exactly! And it's an danish brand... Yay for danish subscribers
I love fleur she's so good she's a chatterbox but in a good way she's the most informative you tuber she knows so much about everything and doesn't just say "I like this because" she properly explains the products and she never gets awkward or stalls. She's the best!
"I might have eaten 6 of these over the last few days" oh fleur, is that what you call binging? 😂💕
i knowww it kills me when she says stuff like that. makes me feel so unhealthy!
The blue in Luna is actually 100% natural from the Blue Taszy. It's specifically formulated without any dyes. :)
+Hey Jessica The last two ingredients on the list are CI 61565 (Green 6), CI 60725 (Violet 2) ;) x
+Fleur DeForce Omgosh. You are totally right! I watched a video with Sunday Riley and was led astray.
I caught a reply on Twitter of Sunday Riley saying that though there is dye in the product, it's less than a dot of an eyeshadow amount. Majority of the coloring is from the Blue Tanszy. :)
+Hey Jessica I know, why not be honest from start.. People are going to find out eventually. Just a thing like that make me not trust the brand..
Check out Beautipedia review on this product on youtube ,its very informative.
would love a tutorial on the eye makeup!! it looks amazing on you!
I tried a sample of the Luna Sleeping Oil this week and I'm really enjoying it so far. Really want to try the Bite lip mask!💗
The conversion of the US dollar to Canadian plus shipping and taxes makes sigma brushes pretty expensive for me at least. Mentally hoping the Canadian dollar makes a comeback
I think the same not spending that much for Sigma
Check out urban outfitters online. I live in Canada that's how I got mine.
+Vaxsoar Completely agree with you!! You can buy some sigma brushes from nailpolishcanada. It's great and they ship free if you spend over $25.
It's even worse in Australia! It's around double what it's costs in America!
+MyCatsNameIsRuby ahhh! It's a shame that they feel the need to colour it then! Xxxx
I know :(
That Sigma brush was one of my November favourites too! I looove how it applies foundation. Your hair looks stunning in this vid! xx
Beautypedia gives Luna Sleeping Oil one star. One issue is that the pH is at the incorrect level to be effective. There are much more affordable and effective retinol treatments out there without the hefty price tag.
Well it seems to work for me! Seriously, it's made such a difference, and like I said, I wasn't expecting to love it!
+Fleur DeForce beautypedia hate anything with essential oils in it anyway so if you have no problem with with essential oils then go for it 😋
+Marsha Williamson Sunday Riley products are the biggest rip off of all time. Mostly because of the packaging. She puts quickly degrading oils in an unstable environment and then sells them for an exorbitant amount.
You cannot bash a product like that! Helloooo, give me the dupe!!
What are the other retinol treatments without the hefty price tag??
Gloria Herrera
Look on beautypedia.
Looking gorgeous Fleur! I find that blue/green shades suit you so well! xx
Retinol turns yellow as it ages. I think they made it blue because blue counter acts the yellow tones. Just a thought.

Uhh your hair looks so smooth. Butter nailpolishes are great !
I so badly want to try candy from the UK! I go crazy for those "taste test" videos! I really hope to do one one day! I love your favorites videos as always Fleur! xx
I love that Bourjois foundation! Great favourites :-) ❤️
+Coco NuageRose What did you not like about it? I love Bourjois foundations and want to try out Air Mat but I'm unsure about it.
+Coco NuageRose I agree! I dislike the Bourjois foundation, because I am very pale and when the foundation oxidates on my skin it looks like a diaster. That polish looks beautiful... I'm constantly craving the mint kit kat's right now!! Sooo good. Wish they'd keep em around past Xmas!
I'm really glad that you've reviewed the Luna oil! I've been really wanting to splurge on it but needed an honest opinion! Can't wait to try it! I LOVE your skincare recommendations!
Your top is beautiful. Where is it from? Great video as always x
Will you be coming to the Clothes Show this year Fleur? I hope so x
I adore the Bite Agave lip mask!! I have dry, chapped lips in the winter and this product is my lifesaver.
You look amazing!!! I love that you started with skin care and ended with makeup!!!
I love your eye makeup! Can you do a tutorial? 💞
The sigma 3DHD brush is sooo good I'm so glad you added it in your favourites! I use it for both foundation and cream contouring, it blends like a dream 😍
I love KitKats but I could not do those, I can't handle anything spicy!!

Fleur I really like what you're wearing! Where was it from? You look gorgeous as always! ❤️
+Inaya Margot thank you! Xx
I am seriously considering ordering the Sunday Riley Luna Oil - fingers crossed I won't turn into a smurf overnight LOL
Try getting a sample first, as it is extremely pricey
You won't! I use it and the blue just disappears into your skin
+singing lis Good idea - thanks :)
+Emm Jey's UnLtd. You just have to massage it in well and the blue goes away.
+Emm Jey's UnLtd. Don't waste your money! The product will lose its effectiveness in a fraction of the time it takes you to finish it.
I'm 19 weeks pregnant and as always, My skin has been LOVING the First Aid Beauty range!! Their skincare is phenomenal and leaves my skin flawless!
I love their stuff too! Xx
Another fab video. I would recommend Redken blonde Idol shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair, which prevents the brassinee.
I use luna oil every night and I never have a grey/blue cast on my skin, but I am not as fair as you, so that may be why.
It's retinol ester. Gives the loveliness without the peeling. X
Great favourites, I hope Tati's products come out in the UK one day because they look really nice! Loving your hair lately x
Not sure what it is Fleur, but your skin looks even more amazing recently! Simply flawless! If it's the result of the night oil then I definitely need to check it out~~
Sigma sell through Feel Unique now (: the flat top kabuki is the best brush I've ever bought, 3 years and it still washes like new
The nail polish looks super similar to Revlon's Colorstay in Wildcard which is only like $7 in the US. I'm actually super impressed with the whole Colorstay Gel Envy line!
Always love and want to buy your monthly favourites! x

can you give a tutorial about this makeup look? So pretty!!!my god!!! Top one for this year!

Fleur where did you get your top? I'm in love with the colour
Love your cool toned videos!!
Does Mike use a hairbrush? My boyfriend has equally super thick hair and I am wondering whether Mike would recommend one! :)
Can you do a makeup tutorial on this look please Fleur? I love it!❤️
I love the Agave Lip Mask...I actually purchased it on your recommendation when you first mentioned it (this may have been a year or so ago!) and I still use the same tube. Well worth the money!
Great video!
Omg I love your dress...where did you get it??? Pleeeease tell me because it's BEAUTIFUL
the Paul Mitchell purple shampoo platinum is the best purple shampoo I've ever used ..I have platinum hair and I have noticed a huge difference w this shampoo. .leave in for 8 minutes in the shower
When you get half way through your seche vite bottle, it will most likely going to go gloopy. So remember to buy the Seche restore, that will get it back to normal. I know it is a bit of work, but it is so good that I feel like it is worth it :)

you look stunning in this video Fleur! Love your makeup look, can you do a tutorial on it?
Neutrogena anti-wrinkle syrum has retinol in it and will have the same effect as the Sunday Riley oil, but for much cheaper. If you want to put oil on your face, avocado oil is the closest match to our natural face oils.
I believe the blue tint in the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil comes from the German Chamomile, which is naturally blue.
+Nicole Ernst Boris No, there is artificial dye in it.
+electrictwilight huh didn't see dyes listed in the ingredients. In any event the chamomile is naturally blue. Not getting the product though if there are dyes in it.
+Nicole Ernst Boris It has CI 61565 (Green 6), CI 60725 (Violet 2). both of which are artificial dyes.
Your eye makeup is always so pretty!
Please make a tutorial for the makeup you're wearing in this video. The eyes are gorgeous! xx
Luna has blue tansy in it, which is a naturally blue essential oil :) So its not a whole lot of dye.
almost 17 minutes of FDF - hell yes! xx
Barry M's nail color in Damson is a really good dupe for that Butter London one Fleur!
In terms of new makeup brushes the rose gold makeup revolution brushes are great 😁
tati's collaboration with Birchbox is amazing all of it is and I love the butter London nail polish
I've been wondering what's been on your nails! I need to get that! Also, if you love Seche Vite, you should try Out The Door. It's cheaper (here in the US, anyway) and it's exactly the same except less smelly! I love it.
You look amazing, keep your hair like this Fleur it really suits you! Absolutely loved this video :)
You're so upbeat in this video, love it! :D And your favourites are awesome! I recently gave in to the Seche Vite hype too and I'm bloody loving it :)

skin and make up looking more or less perfect Fleur. would love to see a full tutorial on this look.

What do you use to curl your hair? It looks so lovely in this video x
I've heard if you can still see the blueish tint on your skin with luna that you've put too much on. I just got mine though and have only been using it for a few days.
love your look.lovely.please review the sephora formula x happy hour. I need that.
Your hair looks amazing in this video! xxx I need to get that Luna Oil so badly!
I adore your hair color and waves :D
The shirt is such a nice color on you fleur!
The Luna oil doesn't have a blue dye in it. The blue tansy is naturally blue. It completely disappears when I use it. Love that stuff!
+lestay99 It does have dye. It's on the ingredients list at the end. CI 61565 (Green 6), CI 60725 (Violet 2).
