About your corrupted files. When you install or uninstall new mods it will corrupt and save files that did or didn't have the mods. So theoretically if you deactivate the new mods you got you should still be able to play in your old save file. (Vise versa you'll need to reactivate them all before trying to play on these save files) If you have the nexus mod manager it's pretty easy to activate and deactivate specific mods without having to completely uninstall them. Hope this helps.
NMM has been dead for several years. This also only applies to mods with scripts, and even then there are some things you can do clean up the save afterward.

Waiting for some more atmospheric videos like exploring, walking, maybe crafting. really like your background storytelling. Skyrim still seems good and plays well, especially with good mods.

There is only 1 mod that you really need, and that is Inigo, he is amazing :D! But yes, the game is a bit outdated, especially the characters, so definitely use mods for that too.

BDO is a completely different kind of game than Skyrim tho :p
There's customization for a reason.. And even though the games are different, they're still in the same fantasy universe so it makes sense, not too far from the lore.. It's not like playing Skyrim with Darth Vader, Spiderman or Super Mario
