Shane McGuigan seems to be all about fundamentals and finessing for those marginal differences that will make a boxer win. A great pairing with Dubois who seems studious and truly coachable. A great pairing. Can't wait to see what Daniel achieves.
What a specimen of a Heavyweight, athlete & Pugilist... He rose from the ashes after that loss to Joyce ..faster than we could blink and now, all of a sudden, he's thrust into the spotlight AGAIN, with this upcoming bout, that will put him right at the top of the Heavyweight division & in a better position than Joyce.. following the fallout of Joyce vs Usyk.

Mike Tyson says every boxer has a gameplan until they get hit and then they revert to 'type', which in Dubois case is making the small technical errors that leave him vulnerable to the higher quality opponents. It will be fascinating to watch Dubois' journey and see if McGuigan really can coach those errors out of him. I hope he can and help continue this amazing period of British heavyweight boxing world champions.
Daniel is looking fit - he just got to get that 'bob and weave' and rhythm movement as key aspects to his defensive game. Because the taller capable guys will be 'popping' through the center as his eyes/face become the main target.
This is a good move - Although his eye got messed up - it was one of those inexperienced losses - Canelo had the same with Mayweather. I think Daniel will easily reach top 5 in the world. Good lad, good chin, good skill - just needs that I.Q brushed up - which top trainers like Mcguigan can do for him.

Power and speed isn't an Issue for Dubois he needs to work on his head movement because he still looks static in the head & neck area and easy to get picked off with the jab, His last fight Joe Joyce beat him with the jab and a lack of head movement if he improves on that I would like to see another rematch against him verse Joyce to measure the level of his improvement.

If he can nail dodging and weaving and footwork and angles and master that side of the game he'll be formidable he got put a the ring with Joyce with half the tools required to be in the ring with him.
He seriously needs a coach that can help him with movement. His overall head movement is so bad. He will constantly get hit straight down the middle. I don't get why Shane is working on things with him that he already knows? Work on his footwork and head movement, then he will be a force to be reckoned with outside of the journeymen he's knocked out. He needs to be put in there with someone that will truly test his toolset, like Joseph Parker.
DDD needed a good trainer a few years ago...and real fights. Knocking out fat old people every fight is a joke. He was always headed for a beating. FW is useless.
He's about as exciting as soggy cardboard this chap. Not sure if it's an absence of personality or if he's a bit of a mong. If the latter, I question whether he has the intelligence to understand, adapt and implement changes.

Did u see what Joyce did to him? This is a perfect fight back.. more of a confidence fight for him and get him back in the groove and also get used to his new team he is now
