- The United States Navy Blue Angels soared over the skies at the Greater Binghamton Air Show 2024 in Binghamton New York. It's been a long time since I've seen them perform and it still amazes me how skilled these pilots are.
The Blue Angels are the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron, known for their thrilling aerobatic performances. Established in 1946, they showcase precision flying with a fleet of F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets. Their high-speed maneuvers, intricate formations, and synchronized routines have made them a symbol of American excellence in aviation. They perform at airshows and public events across the country, inspiring audiences with their skill and teamwork.
All footage was captured on my Sony FS7 with the 28-135 F4 lens. Everything was filmed on a tripod.

@@saltydreadlock438 I filmed everything on a Sony FS7 with the 28-135 PZ lens. The microphone was the sennheiser mke 400.

@@saltydreadlock438 it’s definitely a balance between the engine noise not being so loud it hurts and hearing the natural sound of the environment.
It's always a bummer when low clouds force a low show or flat show instead of the high show.
I noticed one of the very rare 'No maneuver ' passes by the two solos... canceling opposing the 4 point hesitation roll pass. I'm guessing that happens when one of the two see something that they don't like... either with their plane or with the approach and call for "No maneuver " resulting in a level flat pass instead.
That whole process is pretty cool.
@@markhyde43 I noticed that too and figured something was up. It’s amazing what they can do with those maneuvers and formations when everything works out.
