hi Tobias I have seen quite a few videos of musk oxen in Dovrejell, but I have never seen such beautiful and impressive images as you are showing now, very impressive. your determination will be rewarded.👍👏❤️
Wow, what an amazing adventure. After experiencing the warmest day of the year so far (36 C without the humidity factor), this was just what I needed, to watch Tobias in a blizzard. It takes much courage to embark on an overnight solo excursion in such conditions. I couldn't do it. I absolutely loved the minimalist photos of the fox and reindeer. Despite your snow-covered and frozen lens, the video and images of the muskoxen in the blizzard were beyond spectacular. You are a very talented wildlife photographer.
Fantastisk bra jobba, Tobias!
Absolutely fantastic video and photos. Thank you so much for sharing this. Would you consider doing a video on the technical aspects of such an expedition? Preparation, equipment, settings, etc. No problem if you don't, but I am sure that this would be highly interesting. Thank you again and I am very much looking forward to the next video.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate that! I will not be making any such video in the first place, but for such gear related videos, I recommend checking out Morten Hilmer.
Hi Tobias. Go alone in such a campaign quite a risky. Usually it's done by the company. But the frames, of course, turned out to be obaldens. We say the courage - city takes. Success.
Thank you so much for opening this amazing landscape and it's inhabitants up to us. I am in awe of your commitment and bravery to travel and explore in such isolatation and challenging conditions. I too love the minimalist shots, they make for very impactful images. I love Musk Ox but to see them dealing with the snow storm was amazing, shaking off the snow, just wow! Thanks for letting us I to your world, you are very talented and can't wait for your next episode Tobias, kudos to you 👏
I have a feeling you're gonna become the most famous wild life photographer in the world. We notice your passion, enthusiasm and dedication in your solo videos. Good luck my guy! ❤
Hello Tobias, thank you so much for this great video and increadable advanture. I am very pleased that you have succeeded in your project with the Musk oxen in winter storm. It is also a big dream for me, perhaps some day, the day will come. Thank you for sharing and looking for what still is coming. Best regards, Daniel.
Absolute dedication to your art. The planning, effort and skill involved in your work is rewarding your subscribers with the most remarkable scenery and wildlife images. Keep safe my friend and continue bringing us such great videos.
This is absolutely insane! Congrats! I've been to Dovrefjell twice in the past but I've never really gone way off the path into the real open, because I'm not native to Norway and I didn't want to cause any troubles by going somewhere I wasn't supposed to go. So sadly I've never been able to photograph the Musk ox. But it's still high on my bucket list! Thanks a lot for making these videos, really makes me wanna go back! :)
Very nice. We have been to Dovrefjell in summer 2023 but did not see any musk oxen. Well, we did not push it hard 😉 How do you find your camp in the stormy winter weather?
Thanks! It’s a great location for all the seasons, but autumn and winter are extra special. I always bring my GPS, and mark any necessary locations, such as my camp site, my pulk or my planned route
I use the Zeiss conquest HD 10x42 and have used them for 13 years, and am really happy with them! Filming myself does take a lot of extra time and energy, but it’s worth it to be able to share these adventures with you guys
@@TobiasGjerde I really appreciate your hard work to share all these adventures happening behind your photos. Wish you good luck and incredible moments out in nature✌️

Wonderful photos and video Tobias!

Top class, I plan to go there this winter, although don't have the gear to spend nights outside. Which is a shame.
Thanks a lot! There are still many photo opportunities close to the road, and the musk oxen there are often easier to work with as well. Good luck!
@@TobiasGjerde Thanks a lot mate. Have just booked accommodation for the last couple of days this year. Fingers crossed :)

What is your binoculars?
How much time is getting you to film one video when you don't have a cameraman and are doing it by yourself?
