Hi Kay!! I cash stuff my bills too for the same reason. And I was just catching up with my spending tracker because I’ve blacked out since the beginning of the month 😂 A lot of spending. Happy Saturday. My car needed a new battery AND alternator. So I ended up having to empty my savings and checking plus bought the alternatoe with the bigger of the two cards. So that was definitely a bit of a setback. Caught the battery at just being really weak and the voltage regulator failed on the alternator. I am more annoyed than anything. I was doing SO good until this happened. Just waiting to hear back from Napa. Great video, by the way.
@wilmaakastitchedbyjean3679 Yep. $40 $332 before I took it back. Doesn't help that the car is getting old enough I may have to keep stuff stockpiled in case of failures. Car's 24th anniversary of manufacture is Monday.
I know it sucks to have to clean out your savings and challenges, but at the end of the day that's the goal, right? To have cash to cover life's annoyances. So because of all your hard work you had to take on less debt with this issue. That sounds sounds like a win!

Kay if your water bill is higher than expected then it is worth checking for leaks but I may have heard wrong what bill it was. Well done on the savings. Totally consistency works.

Hi Kay, idk about yours but I got a notice the gas bill is raised due to negotiations as well as pipeline issues. Prices currently are $2.68 and are expected to raise to $3.29 in Jan 2025. Expect a big hike in December $3.05 and January $3.29 🥲 I’m preplanning it in my budget to cover the coldest months.
Reporting back. I took some medicine, drank and energy drink, and got myself nice and pretty. Ballet was really cool. Just a hinky dink local production, but my first ever ballet. Had a good time.
@@HeyKayBudgets don't worry about it. I went to a K-12 school for a few months. They also have the FFA (Future Farmers of America) and FHA (Future Homemakers of America) although the FHA is called something not so sexist now.
girl how you not know what 4H is living in TX lol...its the kids club at school that raise livestock and go show and sell them. I grew up more rural so idk if everyone got days off for it but we had stockshow days where we didn't have school because too many kids would have had to miss

I hope it’s okay to ask but how are you able to take the money out of the bank and put it in your bills binder? When I get paid the money comes out right away to pay my bills. I just have enough for groceries and gas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Did you get core charges back by taking old alternator back
