U can also do this in cold water in pre-wash cycle. In my Whirlpool dishwasher I have done my son’s toys. U can add dishwasher detergent to pre-wash cycle and run it twice...just 12 minutes each!!!

Yes, I do wash the lids of mixie jars and also the container and blades of the chopper. So whenever i will have change my mixie i will ensure to buy a dishwasher proof mixer.

Dishwasher will wash aluminium utensils but it will leave residue over the utensils better u avoid aluminium iron and non stick items
You can use ifb powder for aluminum it won't leave residue

let the citric acid dissolve in water
