Hello sir. I’m Internal medicine physician 5 years in practice post-residency but I’m over halfway through an online bachelor’s degree in computer science. I want to be involved with changing healthcare through computer science/software engineering and potentially AI. I would want to use my experience in internal medicine. Do you recommend a certain path for someone like me? Also, any recommended books? Great videos by the way!
As always, a realistic and sober perspective on this subject as well! Although I don't think Elon fears a terminator future, but rather that the effectiveness of AI have the power to disrupt a great many things that we can't really foresee, even when they are made with the best of intentions. Like the polarization currently being caused by social media. As you said, we need to have sound regulations in place in order to rapidly transition into the AI-age in a safely :)

What's your say on IBM 's Watson which was introduced to dept of oncology and fed data but the project is now put to end. It didn't give appropriate results. Cultural, geographical differences were reason as machine was American fed data accordingly
I think that the reality behind The Terminator movie is highly probable. With the advancement of technology, someone or a group of people (not a robot) will create an artificial intelligent machine which could have a bad impact on humanity. The difference is that, the robots will not be the cause, but some of the humans will be.

Sadly, I disagree with you. The most frustrating time I had in my life was when I was in school. They teach you what to think and not how to think. Using artificial intelligence, is a way of trapping people into one way of thinking and not allowing the student to interact with a seasoned polished physician. Are you also considering artificial billing. No, they will be real.

I just need to know what to think and not how to think. I also know that this Covid nonsense has backfired. Hospitals are desperately looking for money to make ends meet. Insurance companies are not paying hospitals for the fees that they request. Insurance companies are going to lose their shirts too. The secret societies (illuminati) had a master plan to transhumanize. I did not pick up the bait. What say you?

It did provide some good results but there were managerial issues with Watson, that's why IBM sold it.
