It's actually getting more and more common that you'd get approached to be an account executive and then even more common in doubling up that job with setting appointments. At that point, you may as well start your own business as it completely defeats the point of why you'd need a job in the first place, salary and job security.
It's pretty wild, sales representives get paid pretty good in Australia ($70000-80000) per annum, only needing a highschool graduation certificate from you
i was offered to be a sales representative here in the Philippines for US accounts $4,000 a year. US and Australian companies be employing asian countries for the same job but pay LESS and it's fucking frustrating
Account Managers do need experience especially in B2B. For an account executive you do not need experience. Point to remember if you do no have experience, chances are you will be hred as SMD AE.
Just closing on deals bro or trying to get them to buy your service/product Inbound leads are warm, they already are looking to buy all you have to do is close them. Outbound are cold clients, which means you HAVE TO BUY your OWN leads, which is bad bc you don’t know if you’re getting good or bad leads
Seems like you are interested in sales but need training, I have a gig; we will train you and also place you in job after your done with the training, are you interested?
Sales jobs in general is not that easy, they are the only department in the company that is an income unit unlike all other departments are taking care for decreasing the cost of operations, in addition highly experienced sales people most probably make a significant impact in company's revenue, the strange thing happening nowadays is that a lot of people who gets bored from there career, thinks that by shifting to sales field it's a matter of few days to master sales skills and acheive big results, sales is about soft skills although it's not that complicated but it needs time to practice and lots of creativity.
