    First sentence of 10:00, and the following paragraph, pretty much sum up the vast majority of communities.
    Gaming communities in general are just so loud when it comes to voicing their horrible and uneducated opinions that it feels out of proportion with them.
    Not to mention that a lot of players are just (incredibly) horrible, or rather unsurprisingly 'mid', at the game they're playing while talking as if they cleared a single boss from a later stage without a guide.
    I know this sounds very generalizing but I gladly have a take like that as a day 1 player who's gotten every challenge medal and stage clear possible.
    Which sounds pretty unremarkable though since pretty much anyone can get that looking at some stage clear tutorials to also get them with the least amount of effort.
    "Don't mess with us Arknights players, we don't actually want to think about strategy ourselves" is what comes to my mind when I look at our community and that's legit sad.
    My lukewarm takes?
    • We haven't gotten more Quality of Life features (actual multi-stage-clear/crafting overhaul or just automatic crafting/faster mastery training) sooner as that would cut down the time we spend with the app open on our devices, which is probably seen more important than valuing the time of the individual player.
    • We're nearing year 5 and the automatic stage replay is still in the same sorry state it's been since launch.
    • The game should have stayed on pace with catching up to global until we would have had a 1 month gap. Knowing what happens so far in advance hurts the global audience.

    10:08 but he wasn't right tho, he was a qnt and also wrong bc Mlynar still doesn't block outside of skill, cannot really helidrop, doesn't reveal invisible enemies, doesn't decrease deployment time for the team, and cannot hit the two furthest side tiles with his S3.

    Here's some flaming hot takes that will probably get you stoned in some communities. Can back them up if needed, but in hot take fashion I won't at first
    - Myrtle is the most overrated operator in the game.
    - In the same vein, flagbearers as a branch are also overrated as a whole.
    - Alternate lose conditions (i.e. civilians) are good game design and HG should implement them more often.
    - Crushers aren't bad, you just suck at using them.
    - Abjurers aren't bad, you just suck at using them.
    - There are bad operators and bad doctors, but for the most part it doesn't matter because the game is too easy.
    - Mama John's SSS is the easiest SSS they have ever made.
    - The CC battle themes are consistently better than the lobby themes.
    - AFK guides get too many views.
    - Powercreep is real and worth worrying about, but only because it shows how uninspired the team is at making new op kits.
    - A similar argument goes for alters.

      I think no one really tries to defend that there is no powercreep. Characters get powercrept often, but content itself doesnt powercreep shit, so thats the main reason why people dont care
