It's not about the cops. It's about violence and our choice to not accept it. We are all a community. We are all brothers and sisters on this planet and we have to look out for our own, meaning all of us. Race, creed, nationality, gender, political standing, etc. Non of that matters. We are all connected and we need to end the violence. That starts at home with educating our kids and raising them without hate in their hearts.

1st time seeing this for me. Thanks for putting it out here. I don't think black people are the only rioters, looters, criminals, or disrespectful people. I think the video showed that. Race doesn't determine how you act, you do. Glad to know some folks are speaking out against all the violence and disrespect. We should judge people by their actions.

There is no subspecies of human, therefor no races. This is 2nd grade science, at 9/10 elementary schools in the country.
When someone feels a type of way about a groups beliefs, or someones skin color, or religion, or choice.... its called being prejudice.
The reason why media replaced the word prejudice with racism is because calling someone a prejudicier doesnt have any impact, it doesnt incite anything.
But calling someone a racist, does. This was actually researched.
This happened in the 80's, and born in the 7th-8th US Census after slavery ended when the skin color column changed to race.
It's a way to hide ones own prejudice, by claiming it's something else. In fact, its why we see it so frequently projected.
Whoever claims racism, would likely not be able to complete a 2nd grade book report.
Its that simple. You are correct. Judge people by the content of their character.

    1. No small town is completely white and small towns people with different skin color see it the same way as Jason Aldean, you are welcome to convince yourself of that and ask some there yourself if you don't believe me.
    2. We see a white female who spits in a cops face (minute 0:32- 033) during a blonde one shows her middle finger to the police (minute 0:27- 0:28) and the warning goes to these people too!
CONCLUSION: When it's racist for a white men to warn black AND WHITE criminals to do this in a small town, then, by implication, you have to to support these riots to be not racist, just think about it.

Jason is from Georgia where the state of emergency was. I don’t know when I don’t watch the news. But this video was shot in Columbia Tennessee, which is where Jason currently lives with his wife and family. That’s a courthouse with the flag hanging off of it which is one of the oldest structures in Columbia. People are trying to say that because of the lynching against Black people at this courthouse took place back in the 1920s that Jason intentionally shot the video there as a subliminal message supporting lynching, which is absolutely and utterly absurd. He simply shot the video there because it’s a monumental landmark in his hometown, and he doesn’t like to travel far away from his family when he works when he can avoid it because of the touring that he usually does.

It has nothing to do with black white purple and has to do with people acted like fools and that small towns would not take this.

He's basically saying FAFO. He's saying don't bring that madness and chaos to his town - crime, riots etc. because they value their homes, businesses and community and stand up for one another. Everyone knows one another: the people, the police, the firefighters, are close and the men in those towns don't allow any degeneracy. Most times, there are male leaders in the town who quickly put an end to nonsense, so they never even need to call the police. In the cities, people have very little in common and don't have a shared set of values. Many people don't feel a sense of community, so they don't respect where they live.

no, what he is saying is our community wouldn't allow you to spit in someones face, that is assault and against the law, we have more respect for each other that to do stupid things like that.
et me put it in perspective, he is saying that you can pull that nonsense in cities where police and people won't put a stop to your lawlessness, in small towns and some cities people don't play that, if you come to rob us, shoot us, burn down our businesses we will put a stop to that shit fast, because we aren't the police that will stand there and do nothing. As far as the gun comment his grandad gave him, they say they're going to round them up, meaning government wants to take our guns, and he is saying you aren't taking our guns. Not racist in anyway,, people crying racist are making the assumption that black people are the only people that commit crimes, loot steal and shoot people, just thinking such a thing is the definition of racism, so the ones crying racist are actually the real racists. The majority of black people and all races actually support the song and are sick of this false racism shit, and people not being punished for constantly breaking laws. The people that seem to be screaming the loudest are WHITE LIBERALS. He is basically saying don't come here acting a fool and trying and hurt our community, is basically telling criminals to fuck around and find out in a small town because we take care of our shit and our own regardless of color, we are a family, regardless what color you are, And you don't mess with family.

Enjoyed your reaction very much. A coupla counter points. 1) Small towns don't have a large urban police force. Most residents are armed because they HAVE to be. When they are in danger, there is no such thing as immediate help. You're on your own to defend your family and your neighbors if you can. People may care more because its easier to know people in a smaller community. This video is pro community, anti violence, anti-anarchy and anti-lawlessness. It seems some people are OK with that, but not in "small towns." 2) If you see ray-cism in this video your imagination put it there. I challenge you to find a single image of any clearly identifiable POC. I think Jason purposely edited his footage to avoid any reason to make a claim of bigotry. It's about defending your own community when danger comes close to home. (Even the liquor store robber is covered head to toe so that skin tone and hair features are impossible to determine.) The only identifiable faces causing trouble are white. 3) last point. some people claim its pro l-y-n-c-hing because it was filmed in front of a courthouse where one occurred...over a hundred years ago. So was the Hannah Montana movie with Miley Cyrus. Booker T. Washington warned us years ago about people who profit more from dividing us than uniting us. That's why, after viewing at least 50 reaction videos of this song, at least 90 % of the black content creators I've seen have not bitten the race bait. I am pleased to see so many black people see through the lies that they've been told by some. As Jussie Smollett proved, "The demand for racism now exceeds the supply so it must be invented." Even Rodney King graciously said after the LA riots and his cop beat-down that started them, "Can't we all just get along?" Amen, Rodney and RIP.

It is not being on the side of the cop, nor against the cops, it is not even a white/black thing. Yeah he said "good ole boys", that actually refers to southern guys, no color of skin does not matter. "We take care of our own", states the mentality of a small town. Color has zero to do with that. I have lived in a small town. Antifa thought they were going to roll through to another small town and riot at their country court house. The county cops and state police escorted them back to California as they would not have made it through the town. I got home from work, and at the church near the neighborhood I lived in there were about 60 people, white, black, hispanic, and asian, all with firearms waiting for antifa to try and roll through. We heard over police scanners that the police escorted them back to where they came from. The night before antifa rolled in while the town was in for the night and put graffiti up all over the place and destroyed somethings. People were seriously pissed off.
This song is about how a small town can, and does come together despite differences. Which is what we all need to get back to and drop this racism BS.

  • @Eniral441
    @Eniral441 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Like others said, it's not about the cops. It's about crime and violence that isn't tolerated in small towns. It's about respect and standing up for your neighbor. It's too bad you didn't watch the longer version of this video. It drives home this message more. It's kind of like the in-color footage from Yuma. 3 armed men came into a convenient store to rob the place, not expecting a marine to be standing there who disarms them (and detains them until police arrive - part not seen in video clip)
As for a couple of things you said, only 3 pieces of riot footage were from the US (2 were George Floyd related). Most of them were from Europe and Canada. The robberies were US. So it's clear he's pointing out the violence and disrespect that doesn't fly in a small town. Also, most small towns could care less what color you are and there are all colors in small towns.

  • @dwanemarsh4378
    @dwanemarsh4378 ปีที่แล้ว +8

No, it's not all about cops! It's about all the violence and crimes that were "allowed" to happen in cities, that would NOT be allowed to happen in small towns. Small towns have all kinds, all races, etc...He is talking about the unity and community of small towns, as compared to the divides in the cities. The backgrounds you saw were PUBLISHED incident of violence, destruction of property, attacks on cops, crimes, etc...He is saying to leave that all right there IN the cities, and don't even try to bring it to our small towns, as we won't put up with it! There is NO mention of color, black or white. It is NOT racist in the least, although the far left liberals are trying to portray it that way to get him silenced.

My favorite part is the convenient store with the armed robber coming in and getting knock back out the door.
"Raised up right" = zero toleration for dangerouse criminal activity.
Hard working folks dont want rioting and violence in their communities. It kinda gets in the way of living the American lifestyle that consists of gauranteed freedom, life, and the right to pursue happiness.
Thats what this song is about.

I ve lived in a big city and a small town. There is definitely a culture difference. It’s not a racial thing, it’s how we interact and look out for one another.
Criminals and lawless behavior happens in bigger cities because you Caan be more anonymous and no one knows who you are. In small town we are much more open to people and we know our neighbors. We have each others backs and are not gonna let people tear up businesses and the community.
The message is simple, small towns may be overlooked and dismissed by urban centers, but we won’t let anyone tear down our communities. If you’re part of our community we have your back.

I live in an extremely small town in Ohio to the point where it's actually considered a village. If you lived in our town you would definitely be considered part of that "our." We actually had some protesters a few years ago come in on a bus. The townspeople just lined up on the sides of the street while the protesters walked. At the end of the day a lot of people shaked hands and the protesters got back on the bus and left. It was actually pretty cool man. I view the song strictly speaking about criminals committing crime. Peaceful protesters will always be welcome in my town!

“Around here we take care of our own . . .” Many of these social uprisings destroyed local businesses in the very neighborhoods the rioters were claiming to be standing up for. We have a Constitutionally protected, God-given right to protest in this country BUT destroying property, burning cop cars, blocking freeway traffic are NOT protected activities. The message of the song is that destructive behavior won’t fly in small towns. The businesses and property and people in small towns stick together to push back.

There’s nothing racist about this song. His message is about the lawlessness that was going on in the major cities around the country. To interpret; the people of the small towns (no matter their color or background) around the country stick together and take care of their own (meaning the people ALL PEOPLE of that town) would band together to help each other fight back against the agitators.

It’s all about RIGHT and WRONG ! You don’t sucker punch an old lady on a sidewalk… you don’t hijack a car at a red light … you don’t stomp on the American flag… you don’t spit in a cops face .. you don’t burn down buildings… when he says they take care of their own, he means in a small town you take care of your own residents , regardless of the color , age , or sex. . If you are a good, law abiding citizen the town residents will not let these things happen to you , like they may in a large city ..they are true law abiding Americans !

He basically says people in a small town wouldn't allow those things to happen in their community.

This has nothing to do with being on any side or race. I live in a small town of less than 1000 people. In a small town we do not see color, we see decency. When he said "we take care of our own". He isn't talking race he's talking people. We don't care if your Black, Brown, white or any other color we judge people on there actions not color. Example: Someone comes into town and punches or rob someone regardless of color. I can guarantee that would not end well for that individual. We police ourselves and in that case you would probably find yourself, naked, covered in honey tied to a tree and left to the woodland creatures. In a small town were all family regardless of color and you don't mess with family without repercussions.

He's just saying we don't want that crap here. Listen to the words, sucker a punch an old lady, he never mentioned race. Not promoting violence he's just saying don't try all that violence here in our home, we won't put up with it. When he said "our own" he mean family, neighbors, loved ones. It's wanting to go back to normal where the country was like one big family, now we are all divided with all the violence.

In a small town, rural areas they have to deal with wildlife, bears, coyote, so for that reason alone, everyone is armed. emergency services are limited. Any disaster or threat, the town no matter your color has to stand up for and defend itself if necessary. No one will stop you from practicing 1st amendment right to free speech, but you are going to use your words. Let us know how we can help. If anyone wants to use your cause as an excuse to attack, riot, loot, or set fires, you will be met with 2nd amendment rights. That's all he is saying.

It's about the rampant crime that was masquerading as protests. Rioting, burning, and looting of small businesses; violent crimes against the vulnerable in society, like older people, women, and children. That seems to be tolerated in some cities, but not really in small towns. The people in the videos were more white than black. It wasn't about race at all.

Its about loving thy neighbor and having respect for people and for our country. Dont burn flags that Americans have died for. If big cities have to play politics and let rioters destroy businesses that people put their all into, that's a shame. In a small town, we arent guaranteed a police department, we count on a county sherif to respond, can take hours. So we look out for each other, and their property. Just doing what's right, regardless of color, religion or any other category they try to separate us into. Just love thy neighbor.❤ Edit was correct auto correct spelling.
