What an awesome video! You did an outstanding job both filming and narrating!! I was out there chasing it on this day, and you actually caught me in your shots at Rock Spring and Summerville (I'm the big bald headed guy in the bright yellow sweatshirt lol). Hope to see you out there in 2024!
very nice video! i am hoping to make it down here sometime. i don’t know anything about the chase, lol, do you know some of the good spots to hit on this chase? also, how far between spots should i give myself in order to successfully beat the steam excursion?
Thank you! You can follow route 27 all the way from Chattanooga to Summerville. They run really slow so you shouldn't have to worry about getting behind them. I don't have a spot map but if you'd like a pin of any of these locations I'd be glad to share them with you.
This was fantastic coverage of the Summerville Steam Special. This video brings back memories of the trips I worked with the High Iron Co. 759 steam rambles from Connellsville, PA to Hagerstown, MD on the former Western Maryland.😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
Great video thanks for sharing.
Thank you!

Saw y’all chasing the train. Didn’t expect to see it on TH-cam, but it’s pretty cool seeing it from a different angle.
How was the ride? We haven't got a chance to ride the Summerville yet.
