i don't watch succession so i have no clue what's going on here but the emotion and depth of this piece are just so immediately striking. would love to hear anyone talk to me about what this piece could be about, it's so fascinating! love your work so very very much.
This is one of the last scenes where we see the siblings are joyful and happy. The two siblings throw the smoothie thing they made on Kendall's head as a joke , after they agree to back him up and elect him CEO. In the EP this scene is lighthearted! But later on , right before the last scene of the show , shiv ( his sister ) says she won't back him up , and roman ( his brother) says some very horrific things about Kendall's family. Kendall snaps and attacks roman ,tries to psychically block his sister from leaving, screams " I'm the eldest boy" in a full rage tantrum. He loses the CEO position and ends the series forever locked out of the success he'd been striving for the whole time.( He'd be a horrible CEO, but on a character level it's devastating for him). I think that what this piece is showing , that devastation and humiliation on his face is like an omen of what's to come.
my god?? this is really amazing. i love how even despite the brightness and vibrancy of the peace it has such a sad vibe too it. also putting the moon where shiv's eye is in the reflection... the way it created this rlly sinister vibe... yeah you did that
the water motif!! I was halfway through succession when you first posted and have been waiting to watch this and it was worth the wait. This scene was so good and your art makes it so much more. I especially love shiv’s hair, the folds on the clothing and the highlights on Kendall’s suit.
