I removed and restored my VW T5 door cards for CHEAP

The door cards are nearly 20 years old and it was beginning to show! In this video, I work out how to get the door card off and then spray them using some vinyl paint.

For any aerosol paint, put the can in a bowl of hot water (NOT boiling) for 10 mins or so till it's warm to touch. Paint will mix much better when shaking and will spray and dry much better, this applies to all paints.....

Looks great, I see so many videos where they cut the tabs holding the door cards together and then plastic weld them back together after spraying them, and I’m like why don’t they just mask it up 😂

Me too! I hope this shows that you can do a pretty good job without having to melt plastic 😂

Hi Lee, just found your channel & subscribed. I have just bought a Transit Mk7 to convert into a day van for adventures with our GSD pup exploring our beautiful beaches & countryside of north Devon where we live.
