I think she knows the drill. Good guy chases bad guy, goon alerts security to give bad guy protection, this level!
Spoiler: Thats one of mass produced Zoey Nightshade clones. In MP theres a char called "Evil Zoey clone" and thats her.

Hell yeah man I’d would always play this mission because of the music, and it was very fun at this level to shoot shit.
The music is great and it certainly keeps the adrenaline going, however this was the level where I thought the game was just too over the top for James Bond. Even by Roger Moore standards! This is obviously a homage to the monorails in the lairs in You Only Live Twice and The Spy Who Loved Me. But it's so heavy on the science-fiction-esque aesthetics that when I played this level I immediately had flashbacks to the Global Space Bridge in the 2001 Transformers anime. Looking at it now, I can't help but think of the Hyperloop concept.
Yeah this mission was always my favorite as a kid, so intense

I remember playing this level many years ago. Got to the end, and had the part with the lava. First time I had no clue what to do, died and was quite upset.
Buuut after a while I had a hunch of what to do; suspected I needed to hit those claws with the rocket launcher. Ran the level again and it worked out.

Am I the only person here who likes the rch-1 and wished for it to be playable in multiplayer like the sentinel in nightfire
Geez, that shotgun model is beyond ugly. Even some of the Goldeneye models look prettier.
A year later and Nightfire came out with some of the most gorgeous firearm modelling of that era of video games. Kind of ironic.
Also the shotgun sucks in this mission. You only get it halfway through and it is only useful at close range. The guided rocket launcher is here but sadly it's only in this mission and didn't get expanded until night fire.
The AK-47 model in this mission looks kinda funky too.
@@tylerg.2599 even worse. The AK-47 its better in the rail levels. The one obtained in Night of Jackal its awful, 30 bullets and slow rate of fire.

Since you're gonna get all gold for the mission, are you gonna do a platinum run for this game where you get all the 007 tokens in this game?
Like with Nightfire and Everything or Nothing, no. The playthrough would be the same but just picking up some tokens. I may do a guide for all of them in the future in a single video showing where the tokens are, but replaying all the missions is a bit of nonsense.

You can, the points racks up regardless on difficultly.
I just realized something...this level is only one in the game to have cutscenes that are CG and not in-game. Anyone know why that's the case?
Not the only one, Precious Cargo, Dangerous Pursuit, Streets of Bucharest and this one all have CGI cutscenes. This is because the game switches engines on the fly when playing the vehicle levels. You can actually notice how the gun models have less quality and all that.

How did you get double ammo capacity for your weapons?
In Cold Reception, you get the Golden Clip award if you beat it with the Golden rank. I suppose that's it.

Thats explained in the last battle "He's not happy that you eliminated his double, but he wanted to return you the favor." Soo, this Bloch,was the clone, and the final boss is the real.
Even by Roger Moore's standards, I always thought this level was way too Sci-Fi and out of place with the Bond universe.
Yeah but bond villians like jaws and such is scifi hell the idea in goldfinger that you can sufficate by having gold paint all over the skin is scifi it can't actually happen since we don't breath through our skin

@@nitsuagaming6121 To be fair, in The Spy Who Loved Me novel, Jaws (or Sol Horror as he was called) was merely a thug with metal capped teeth. He didn't have superhuman strength or anything like that. The skin suffocation thing has a kernel of truth to it, in that the epidermis and some of the dermis take in oxygen from the air rather than the blood, and its believed an imbalance between atmospheric oxygen and blood oxygen could lead to skin problems, such as ulcers. Goldfinger blew it out of proportion though. The idea could work with some adjustments - like if they drowned her in a vat of the gold paint.
