That is definitely on my bucket list!! Fruit leather always reminds me of a dear lady who went to our church. She was a master gardener, and her husband took care of their fruit trees. She made several different kinds of fruit leathers, and cut them in 2" squares, then she would freeze them. Whenever we had a carry-in meal, or there was something going on for children, she would put a mixture of those little squares in a small bowl, and everyone really went for them! Sweet (literally) memories!
I got a small Magic Mill dehydrator off of Amazon. The size is about 10inches x 12 inches. I really like that it has metel mesh trays. It seems healthier than plastic. There are 6 or 7 trays. The time and temperature is exactly the same as this one. Its nice also because it's not huge. Like apartment sized 😃 It was about $25. Thank Jinne for showing how to use parchment paper for the fruit leather❤ Awesome video❤
Thank you. Haven't made them in years. We have 3 gallons of blueberries from our bushes that I will make a batch. This unit looks like my Cosori. I got it because it is all stainless.
Hi. When using fruit with more seeds in like raspberry and bramble, would you sieve out the seeds first? Have wanted to try this so will be having a go soon.

You should spray your measuring spoon with oil(Pam), when using Honey and syrups. Looks Yummy.

I am gonna make some..YUMMMMY
Can you please tell me how you store these leathers? I’m sure you put them in a jar, but how long do they last? Thanks so much
My only problem with making fruit leather or jerky is that neither one lasts for more than a day or two.😁

Yes you can put the mixture through a food mill to remove most of the seeds.
Looks delicious....can a convection oven be used for fruit leather?
Yes, Google for directions and recipes using an oven or convection oven ❤
I was so excited to try this until you got to the dehydrating step. Don’t have one. 😢 Hope everyone that has one enjoys!
You could do it in the oven on the lowest setting, I'm not sure about the time though.
@@HomesteadCorner thanks!
