This isn't genocidal to me. Here's what i hear: After the heroes left, and life simmered down, Ralsei began the walk home, all the while stopping for a moment at all of the various memories they shared, the stump, the bake sale, the first box puzzle, all of these places fill him with joy and love. He reaches the dummy, the perverbial start of their journey, smiles, and cries a tear of joy, as the trip ends he finds himself in his home with new friends all around, feeling complete. Ralsei falls asleep, content.
